We just had our whole roof(including skylights) replaced. Jarvis Exteriors did a phenomenal job. My husband used to do roofing when he was younger so he knew a lot and even he was WAY IMPRESSED with the quality, workmanship and attention to detail..... The Sales Rep (John) whom I dealt with all the time was very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, kind and efficient. He always returned emails, texts, phone calls in a timely manner. The crew was always here when scheduled and John is a very "hands on" guy and was very involved with the process making sure things got done right. Their pricing was very competitive and the quality of their work was exceptional. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

Right around Christmas, we had a horrific wind storm with 75-mile-an-hour winds. Chunks of my roof were blowing off the roof. I called JARVIS Exteriors and got a hold of DAVID PAUL. He came out that same day and put temporary tarps over the holes in my roof. David continued to help me with filing a claim with my Insurance company. The company didn’t want to pay for a new roof, so David provided them with all kinds of state laws and city ordinances and codes. He corresponded with them for months and had to meet with the Insurance Adjuster several times on the roof. I think the Insurance Adjuster was a total idiot and kept forgetting things, but David kept meeting with him and giving him the info he wanted. David was there when the roofers were installing the roof to make sure everything was going right, and afterward, he inspected to see that all the nails and everything was picked up and in order. This company was amazing from start to finish. The price was very fair! Everything was done as promised, and was done perfectly. A supervisor was on site the entire time, and at the end he went up to inspect it and make sure it was done perfectly. He went over the roof with a precise eye- a nail here and there to make sure it was perfect. They took care for my plants and cleaned everything up like they were never here. Their advice about color choice was spot on, and they were professional and personable from start to finish. We worked with Tim Richert with Jarvis on a tricky leaky roof repair at our home in Algonquin. Tim was outstanding to work with. He spent time in our hot and cramped attic trying to diagnose where the leak was coming in. He took a conservative approach to the initial repair, and kept in continual contact with me to see if the repairs were successful. He did not invoice us until he was certain that the repair worked.Countryside in Streamwood did the original roof install and called them first to attempt this repair. They failed twice and that is when I called Jarvis.I simply want all readers to know how much I appreciate Tim, his professionalism, communication, timely response and quality of his teams work. We have used Jarvis in the past for various projects and they always do a great job for us. This time we had water coming through the flashing around our fireplace and seeping into the attic. Tobi came out immediately to assess the problem and explained what needed to be done. The next day (Friday) we got their detailed quote which included drawings showing what would be repaired. We approved the the job and on Monday all work was completed. Excellent service! Just wanted to say how happy I am that the Roof/Gutters/Soffit/Fascia/Windows project is finally complete. David Paul (no relation) was outstanding and ensured the entire project was completed in an expert manner. David was especially helpful in dealing with the insurance company and the obstacles and delay tactics they attempted to deploy. David ensured each aspect of the project was expertly completed through his detailed onsite inspections, and even made sure that even the most minor workmanship issues were promptly addressed. I continuously get compliments from my neighbors on how beautiful the house looks, especially with the replacement of the obsolete Omni gutters with the new oversize gutters and the new soffit and WOOD fascia. Many other homes in the area have had new small gutters installed with poor quality aluminum fascia and they got taken advantage of I'm sure. This is the second time I've used Jarvis in 20 years, and if another act of God occurs and damages my home I'll be sure to use Jarvis again.....and specifically request David Paul as the project lead! Our experience with Jarvis was nothing less than outstanding. Our project manager Brandon was absolutely perfect. We started just wanting a roof and ended up getting a roof, soffit, fascia, gutters, then we had them come back and install a front door. We didn't do all that work because Brandon tried to upsell us he didn't even try, we did it because the quotes were so much less than everyone else we could actually afford it. The communication was great, the crews that came out to do the work were excellent and did a great job. Our house looks amazing. I can not stress this enough their quotes were far less than the competition; by a couple of thousand, one by over 7 thousand. We had quotes from 6 companies. The work that did was excellent. We have a couple more projects coming up and Jarvis will be the work. I would recommend Jarvis without hesitation. They will do right by you. Thank you Jarvis use me as a reference if you need one.

From the first phone call, Project Manager John Ilkow was responsive, professional, and easy to deal with. He clearly outlined our options and provided us a free estimate "on-the-spot," including rates for any additional work that may arise, unforseen. He provided us a shingle sample and folder full of product, warranty, and licensing information.After collecting multiple quotes, we chose Jarvis Exteriors for our new roofs based on the quality materials, reasonable pricing, and John! We were not disappointed!First, the work was scheduled to be started less than 10 days after we signed the paper and provided a deposit. Then, a day before, a very polite young man from Jarvis came to the house to post the building permit in the front window. Later that day the materials were delivered.On work day, John and the crew were prompt and prepared. They discussed all that would be done. The crew took great care protecting our lawn and gardens. They were respectful, hard-working, careful, thorough, and cleaned up completely. The new roof on the garage and front of the house was done in ONE DAY. And it's beautiful! Even after a complete tear-off and re-roofing, ALL my tulips stood tall and had all their petals!For some additional anticipated work, John presented the need for it, confirmed the cost was the same as originally quoted, and waited for our approval before having the team proceed. We agreed. The final bill was EXACTLY what was quoted and what we expected.We couldn't be more thrilled with the entire experience with Jarvis Exteriors, John, Ilkow, and the rest of the crew!
