JJ Swartz completed a full kitchen renovation, coordinated flooring install across my home and built a custom gate for my basement stairs last summer. The team was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. Michelle, Jim, Brad, Mike and the whole team were easy to talk to, very responsive and really cared about the success of my project. Like any home renovation, the team kept me informed of all issues and worked quickly to resolve them. We love our new kitchen and it works perfectly for our family. We will absolutely be using JJ Swartz again in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for home projects big or small.

Master Craftsman Mike West at JJ Swartz did a fantastic job fixing a DIY french door install in my home that just didn't work right (I am not good at installing doors!). It was too small of a job to quote out, but they have a handyman program where they can send the appropriate expert out for a reasonable hourly rate.They sent out Mike West, who showed up on time, treated my home with respect, and did an AMAZING job getting the door to work perfectly and look perfect. Mike is clearly an expert, and he knew exactly what to do to make the door "right and tight."I am beyond pleased with the results. The bill was very fair for the quality of the work. Most of all, I am excited to know about JJ Swartz's handyman offering. I have probably ten more small projects where I can absolutely use some help, and will be calling these folks again in the future!

Bobby our lead was amazing! He tried to go above and beyond for us! He would always let me know the times and what day they would be at our house and lmk if plans changed. He’s very nice & friendly.Management on the other hand has things they need to work on. They had our lead Bobby running a lot of jobs at one time. Way more than one person can manage. They also need to work better on communicating with the guys in the field on the scope of work. As there was some confusion on our job as they forgot to give our lead an update on work that was approved. Also management needs to work on how they schedule the guys. They would schedule one guy for a two man job. And then we would also have several days a week that management wouldn’t schedule anyone at our house. I feel like our job would have got done a lot faster then 3 months if they would have scheduled more then one person on the days they only scheduled one. And if they would have only take on jobs that they can actually focus on and wait to start the others until the jobs they are focusing on are done. Also believe it would have been done soon if their drywaller didn’t take a week or longer each time. I do know we had a lot that needed done on our job. I just feel like they good do some improvements.But if you have Bobby he will make sure to take care of you the best he can. It was nice being able to ask him the questions and him find out vs us having to try and get ahold of the office. He was always on time and if something came up where he couldn’t he would let us know. If we ever need to come back to Jjswartz I would want Bobby as my lead again! Bobby was great! I suggested you ask for him as your lead.

From start to finish JJ Swartz took great care of my roof replacement. They helped me deal with an inadequate insurance claim and made an otherwise stressful process go much smoother. Corey met the insurance adjuster and then took the ball and ran with it. The crew they lined up did a quality job on the roof and the paperwork and payment process was very straightforward. Highly recommend their services and they definitely helped take the stress out of the situation.

Corey and John were great to work with. John was able to restore a portion of our flooring from water damage that took place earlier in the year. He kept us informed of the process and asked us to approve the work prior to departing. He was extremely pleasant to have in our home and did fantastic work.

J.J. Swartz Co.completed a remodeling project for us at our home. The salesman was helpful in creating designs for us that were within our budget. There was very good communication between sales and the guys who did the work. They cleaned up after themselves every night and were timely in completing repairs. I was surveyed after which tells me they are interested in customer feedback. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them anyone looking to complete home remodeling.

J. J. Swartz recently replaced our roof and repaired our gutters after a large tree branch fell on the house. The roof looks even better than before, and the team that did the work was friendly and unobtrusive. We especially appreciated Corey Blaum, who provided responsive and helpful communication through the process. Corey went out of his way to make sure we got all the repairs that we needed in a timely manner and to make sure we were happy with the services. He made things especially easy by coordinating meetings and sharing updates via text.As a female homeowner, I've encountered several people who only wish to speak with my husband about contracts and home repairs. We are in the process of rebuilding a garage that was totally destroyed by fire. And rear of house also damaged. At first the calls to us were quick and precise and after a few weeks of signing the contract they got started. But i will say this it slowed to a crawl. They only sent 2 guys and one would watch the other or vice versa. It took over a 2 weeks just to get garage framed without trusses even put up yet. I don't mind a crew taking breaks but constantly taking off 4 and 5 times a day when they are here is unacceptable. Plus it's taking weeks to get materials on site. Also this 2 man crew is constantly getting pulled of my job to do others for days at a time. Hopefully this company will get it together and hire more people. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and see how my job turns out when it eventually gets finished Hopefully by the end of summer 😡😪Service: Remodeling

Due to Covid 19 job was delayed for several months. Once the proper level of clearance was given work began. We had a few small setbacks but these were taken care of properly. After some discussions of and clarification things went well. Roofing crew was excellent as well as gutter installer. Swartz co. representative (Martin) stayed in touch and handled any problem.

I would Highly Discourage anyone from using this company for any type of renovations or repairs. The lack of communication was terrible. The amount of time to complete our renovation was well beyond what was promised. Furthermore, the end product that this company left us with was Well Below the expectations that were discussed. Mismatched wood, damaged vanity and bar, holes left in ceiling where they worked. All in all the worst experience we have ever had with any type of contractor. Also, please be sure to doublecheck your bill before payment to insure you’re not overcharged by thousands like we were.

Last Wednesday’s windstorm delivered fascia trim wind damage to our house in a location I was not comfortable dealing with myself. My wife called Corey Good Friday morning for help.
