Matt M. was out today to re-hang an 11 foot long wire closet shelf that had come down after being loaded with more weight than the cheap anchors that the builder had used would support. Matt salvaged all the original hardware and installed heavy-duty mollies into the same holes, eliminating the need to patch the drywall. Excellent repair!

If you need a handyman, Bud is your guy. He's patient, knowledgeable and shows you not only what's wrong but explains to you how you, yourself can fix it. I don't write very many reviews but I know how difficult it is to try to find someone you can trust.

Kathy is always so helpful and Bud has been out twice to our home now. This time we had a list of several items like banging pipes, shower valve issues and doors not closing properly. He was able to help us with everything again beyond expectations. I will definitely be using Ace again. They are trustworthy and honest. They did our railings in the fall too.

I had purchased a new entry door for my garage. It had no marks or dirt. After install I called about marks and dirt and no caulk around door. Was told they normally do not caulk around doors. They came back out and “caulked”. No attempt was made to removed any existing caulk. See pics. Asked owner to call. Was told he was unable to call me. Sent another guy out that recaulked. I also showed him it appeared brick mounding was removed from the new door and then remounted crooked. Never heard any back. Never again.

We were having some issues with our back porch, loose boards and some instability. We thought we would need the entire porch replaced. Our handyman, Matt, suggested a power wash and assessment of the integrity of the porch. With just a few repairs and an impending paint job, the porch is as good as new. This was my first time using Ace Handyman Services. I needed grab bars installed in 2 areas of my home before my husband comes home from the hospital. I also needed a broken garbage disposal removed. Initially they didn't have a representative who could handle my specific need, but Kathy kept my name on her desk until one became available several months later and called me to see if I still needed service, which I did. We needed help cleaning our dryer vent, and Ace Handyman came to the rescue! They’ve helped us with assorted maintenance as well like a door coming off the hinges, removing a satellite dish, and creating a better water barrier for a shower that was leaking everywhere. We appreciated having someone come out that knew how to knock out a bunch of "honey-do" projects the right way. Our handyman replaced two faucets and drain assemblies, re-caulked the kids' bathroom (tub surround and the side splashes), fixed a busted can-light (we were pleasantly surprised it could be fixed instead of replaced!), and fixed another light/receptacle that wasn't working. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely call on ACE Handyman Services again!

Never again, never again! The “handy man” did extremely poor work and tried to gaslight me to believe an inch of caulk on a tub surround was acceptable. The company had to buy a whole new one for me then refused to find a better installer after I had already paid them for the work. They also sent the same handy man to my mom’s house to install a screen door which was cut as if he was blindfolded then they sent someone else to “fix” the work. There were initially a few hiccups with some blinds installation, but both customer service and the follow-up from the handyman were excellent. Throughout the whole service, personnel were incredibly courteous and thoughtful. Not everything can be perfect from the get-go, but that kind of integrity goes far. After contacting several "handymen" and getting blown off we called ace and we are glad we went with them. We sent pics of our small bathroom and gave them a list of what needed to be done and what we already had. They sent a quote over and explained their process, and we set up an appointment time. Deanna came out to do our installs and and we were able to rearrange work so she was able to get everything done in less time than estimated. She was courteous and very efficient with everything. Our bathroom came out looking better than we had hoped and it didn't cost us nearly as much as we had thought it would.
