If these clowns knock on your door DO NOT ANSWER. They are storm chasers. Come into areas where a storm hits, go door to door, collect the insurance money up front and you wait for months for work to be done. Work is sloppy. They don’t follow up on requests. Reuse parts from old roof. Terrible experience. My neighbor had same issues with these guys. They did his roof and gutters twice. They never finished my job. Gutters, ceiling and facade were never touched. Change orders from April were never put in as of December for more damage from their delay in starting repairs. Some clown there called and started yelling at me that the job was finished in September and was putting in final payment. Then I get a text in December one evening saying they wanted to come back early next morning to finish the job. Told them forget it. I will go back to my old roofer. Not worth the trouble. Insurance went up for a roof that needs to be redone. This whole set up was border line fraud. I filed a complaint with Illinois who has a big warning about these storm chasers. If a guy shows up in your neighborhood with SC plates call the cops.

Very satisfied with the entire process. I do not write a lot of reviews, but this was well deserved. There was initially a lot of back and forth, but they kept in constant contact with any updates to keep me in the loop. The team I worked with - Chadwick, Omar, Michael - went above and beyond with new upgraded roof and gutters. Once everything was approved, I was kept informed on what exactly will be replaced and updated. They worked quickly, efficiently, and accommodated with the dates I was available. The entire process felt seamless, they kept me well informed with my options, and did not feel pressured into anything.

OUTSTANDING Roofing Contractor! Supervisor Pat Cox worked directly with my insurance company to maximize my hail damage claim on a 22 yr old roof. Then executed the removal and replacement with excellent communication before and during the work. On site, supervisor Mike Harroll coordinated two crews to assure the work was completed expeditiously. The roofers worked continuously until the job was complete - including a very tidy clean up. We have had many contractors work with us while updating our home. Orange Elephant is by FAR the most professional and capable. This company is very professional with a quality product. I run an insurance business for a Country Financial and I have referred many of my clients to Orange Elephant when they have wind and hail damage. Everyone of my clients has expressed that they were happy for the referral and talked about the quality and timely manner in which the job was completed. Top tier architectural shingles with many color patterns were used along with the eligibility for the new metal roofing option if my clients wanted to upgrade. Any upgrades they would just pay the difference out of pocket and Orange Elephant has financing options. I would highly encourage anyone reading this that is in need of a new roof to take a meeting with Mike’s Schmalz team over at Orange Elephant.

Orange Elephant came around and knocked on our door after some bad hail storms in our area. They worked with our insurance company and got us approved for a new roof on the house, and garage & new gutters. The whole process was pretty seamless thanks to Chase and Chris Lopez for all their hard work. Crew was nice, and cleaned up really well after the job. It did not take too long for claim to get approved and the job to be scheduled either. They are only in to come in and do a quick job. I was scheduled to have my roof done today only to find out that no one showed up. I did not receive a notice that my job was going to be rescheduled. Do not do business with this company. They are the absolute worst company I have ever worked for in my 10 years of being in this industry. Lie after Lie no guidance for workers or homeowners. I could right a 3 page essay on the ignorance that goes on in a daily basis but I won’t . I just want to advise everyone to really do your research on a company ! How long they have been in business etc. Horrible attitudes, the absolute only person or thing worth anything at this branch is there GM Mike, other than that companies a complete wash don’t work here do not do business with this company you will regret it . They just started installing siding this year at this location that should tell most of what you need to know.

One of the easiest contractors I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with!!!Rang the doorbell after a hail storm and wanted to schedule a time to check for damage. I was a little skeptical, since I had another company ask to do the same thing a few months back and they never showed. Orange Elephant showed up on time checked for the damange and called my insurance company with me, while we were on the porch that night. Had an inspection scheduled with them instantly.Everything got approved. Orange elephant took care of everything with insurance. I never had to make a call. They would notify me, every step of the way. Updates came from text and phone calls.Were consistantly on time and the work was gorgeous!!!For anyone trying to avoid storm chasers when they ring your doorbell, give them the time. My father engaged in a contractual agreement with this company following their assessment that the roofing required repairs due to weather-induced damage. Subsequently, the company undertook the repair work; however, upon completion, it became apparent that their execution left much to be desired. The aftermath revealed a substantial lack of cleanliness in the work area, with unsatisfactory cleaning efforts. Furthermore, their actions resulted in the inadvertent damage of a bird feeder and the bug screens across multiple windows on the premises.Upon being apprised of the damages, my mother took the initiative to communicate the issues to the company. Regrettably, the necessary reparations were only addressed after she initiated contact to express her dissatisfaction. During a subsequent interaction with Chase, who represented the company for payment collection, I requested a copy of the contract to validate the terms of our engagement. Contact information was exchanged, albeit no supporting documentation was subsequently provided.In response to our concerns about the damaged bug screens, a representative named Chris was dispatched to rectify the situation. However, there was an absence of communication or notification before or after the repairs were executed. Drawing from my own prior experience within the roofing and siding industry, I am able to discern the disparity between proper and inadequate procedures. This company, based on my experience, appears to consistently follow practices that do not align with industry standards.Check this companies reviews on Yelp. I regret to inform you that my father unfortunately passed away in July 2023. As I was not the original party to enter into the contract with this company, I feel compelled to emphasize that, given the circumstances and my understanding of their practices, I cannot, in good faith, endorse their services. The crew showed up on time led by Powers and got right to work.Removing two layers of shingles and replacing the decking added a lot of time onto this job, but they let me know how it was going every step of the way. When circumstances, out of their control (read...THOUSANDS of nails in the two layers of old shingles) necessitated an extra partial day on the job they made sure my roof was covered and ready for the night just in case of..you know...Colorado unpredictable weather.My insurance company rescheduled the inspection twice... and I tend to ask a lot of questions. The folks at Orange Elephant did a great job replacing my roof. They had recently replaced my neighbor's roof and I was able to observe their work firsthand, so I asked them to take a look at my roof. I was naturally concerned about potential hassles, but OE made the entire process seamless and transparent. They put to rest any concerns and everything went extremely smooth. I would especially like to thank Eddy Armendariz who assisted me with the paperwork, Tyler for his assistance with the adjustment process, and the on-site manager, Mike Harrell, who completely explained what was being done and thoroughly answered any questions. I was especially impressed with the promptness of the crews and their attention to detail. The gutters and downspouts were also replaced/repaired and they look fantastic. Thanks again for a job well done and one less thing to worry about.

From the initial roof inspection all the way to the magnet that picked up nay loose nails from our dirt driveway, we had a great experience with these guys. Dan was responsive and professional and answered all our questions before we signed anything.Carson and his crew were on time and after introducing himself told me where he'd be throughout the day if I needed to contact him. I was very pleased with the work they did. When removing the roof, they discovered that the previous shingles were a higher grade than what was determined when the insurance inspector visited. They returned the initial shingles and had the upgraded ones delivered, still managing to get the job done that day. Alex did a great job taking care of a couple details that came up during the work.
