I had a very pleasant experience with Square Exteriors which included tearing off two layers of old siding, installing Hardie board siding, leaf guards, new storm doors and lighting. I was extremely impressed with their attention to detail. They delivered everything as promised and communicated any issues along the way. Having an older home, I knew there would be some rotten wood, which they showed me and also photographed and attached to the invoice. We did a walkthrough of the entire project after completion to ensure I had no concerns. I am confident that I now not only have a more attractive home, but also a sturdier and better insulated home.

Square Exteriors replaced roof shingles. They replaced some plywood on roof that had worn out.They also removed old cedar siding and gutters. They replaced the siding with James Hardie Board and Batten Arctic White Wood Grain with Deep Ocean Trim, covered Fascia and Soffits with Aluminum, and replaced gutters.The project manager was Peter Fied Jr. He was excellent and very professional and friendly.The roofing crew was very professional, worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. I had various plants surrounding my house and they were extra careful in not damaging them. I do not remember their names otherwise I would have mentioned them in this review.There were 2 people that did the majority of siding work, Damian and Pawel. We used Square for removal of our existing cedar siding and installation of Hardie board siding and trim. We are very happy with the results. The crew easy to work with and had to worked thru some rough conditions with the weather. The crew made certain that when weather was going to prevent them working everything was buttoned up. There were a couple incidents but I reached out to Peter and he addressed them in a very timely manner. Overall, if you are looking to do Hardie Board, I think you will be more than happy with the product Square delivers.Ira

Square Exteriors replaced our wood siding with James Hardie siding. They began work in November and worked until the snow stopped them, then continued once the weather became amenable. We are very happy with their work. Peter Jr. was very professional and accurate with his proposal, and the install crew was polite, efficient, had good craftsmanship, were very neat and did a good clean up. We were very happy with both the experience and their work. We certainly recommend.

Square Exteriors replaced our vinyl siding with Hardie Board siding, replaced several windows and replaced the gutters (and added a leaf guard system). They also did several small extras (rehung shades, installed a new mailbox, etc.) to provide a complete job. Our house is an 1898 Victorian with lots of corners and details, so the work was not easy/uncomplicated. After having 8 estimates on our home, we were very pleased to have met Peter from Square Exteriors. He was friendly, honest, down to earth, super qualified, and his prices were much more reasonable than some of the bigger named companies. Peter and his crew stuck to everything they said that they were going to do. He said the dumpster and his crew would be here on a specific date, and they were. Square Exteriors repaired some siding and did a complete gutter replacement for our office building. I had received a bid from another company but the moment I met the estimator from SE I immediately could sense this was an honest guy that wasn't going to try and sell any extras and was a no-nonsense down to earth guy. Obviously I waited for the quote but had pretty much decided I was going with him based on that alone (sorry if you left some money on the table:)). The quote was very competitive and we gave him the job. He shared my options and worked with us on our choice and the process was smooth. The crew came in and did a great job. They even added a down spout that was needed to solve a problem we had been having for years. The clean up could have been better but the original guy came out to do a walk around and had no problem sending his guys back out to clean up a couple spots. Overall I couldn't have been happier with this company. A great example of go local and support small companies doing great work. All we had done was gutters but I will be using Square Exteriors for any of the other services they offer.

Definitely happy with the quality of work on our our job. We re-sided our entire home with Hardie Panel and Hardie Trim. Both Peter Sr and Peter Jr were extremely responsive from initial consultation/bid through end of the job. The two guys on site daily, Pawel and Damian, we’re friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with as real-time questions and decisions came-up. Had a couple change orders that were tracked well with their software and made settling-up final payment easy. Project took longer than expected but that didn’t overly bother us because they finished after we communicated we had a deadline with visitors. Pricing was competitive (got four bids) and they hit their quote. Overall recommend Square Exteriors.

I recently hired Square Exteriors to come fix and mount new gutters on my home. I have a difficult setup that involved careful planning to mitigate the amount of water coming down from one of my downspouts. Peter and his team devised a plan that solved the problem. This is my second major project with Square Exteriors. Provided an excellent price for Andersen Windows desired. Installation was in an older home with solid masonry wall construction. Upon removal of old windows, the masonry construction created a few unforseen issues, however installation crew had the skill to make necessary modifications to install the new windows. Square Exteriors has completed two projects for us. The first was to remove an old wooden bat and board on a gable, remove and replace all fascia and soffits with a product called Hardie board, and remove and construct a new front entry, taking it from a flat roof to a peaked roof. From start to finish this work was done by Square Exteriors in a timely fashion. The workers were gentlemanly like and the cost was more than reasonable. The second project was a window replacement. Amazingly enough, a national window company wanted to charge an exorbitant amount of money to replace four casement windows. In doing so we would have lost the plantation shutters which were less than year old. I contacted Peter Fied and he was able to replace eight casement windows (4 upstairs, 4 downstairs) for less than half of what the national window company wanted for four window replacements and he saved the expensive shutters. Once again, his prices were extremely reasonable and his workers were very professional. The work was completed in a timely manner. We would recommend Square Exteriors for any work. We keep his number at hand for all renovations.

Peter Sr. And Jr. were both very friendly and communicative. There were hiccups with weather and materials, and they were quick to let us know what was going on and the options available to address the issues. They even dealt with some unhappy neighbors, and did a thorough cleanup despite mountains of snow. Additionally, they stayed on budget and cost 25% less than other quotes. Of course it’s nice to support a small family business, too. Definitely recommend.

About 2 weeks ago I saw Andy working next to our house and I call him for an estimate. On July 1st I call him and I tell him when he can do the job and he said call me after July 4th . So on July 8th I call him to schedule the job for that week and he said that he is very busy and he can’t do it and I tell him that this is very unprofessional because once he said that he will do the job that week I was expecting him to do that because he knows that we are on a timeline because we are selling the house and his words were and I quote” if I am unprofessional go and find someone that is professional “ . I was shock I didn’t know what to say . I will never recommend them because they are really Unprofessional.
