This app is really useful. Your home appliances can be repaired very easily within very less time. They provided a very reasonable estimate for an emergency, Sunday afternoon repair, and immediately went to fixing the issue. 30 min or less later, the issue was fixed, we had water and all for a reasonable price. This is a scam! They send unskilled, unlicensed, unbonded, and uninsured people who barely know one end of a screwdriver from the other. They do not care that they put clients at risk by sending such people.They will not refund any part of your subscription and are very happy when you cancel early. It is a true shame that this company was promoted to me by a real licensed, bonded, and insured handyman with long experience. He obviously is getting a cut for getting people to sign up.

Do not use them. They are a broker/dispatch service who will send you a technician from any number of companies. If anything goes wrong, which happened to me, neither PHS or the company they dispatched take any ownership. They never follow up like the dispatcher says they will and they basically expect you to give up.

DO NOT sign up for this service it is a SCAM! They are essentially a dispatched and we did deal with a decent plumber and good electrical but we're scammed out of $1k by a HVAC man who most likely wasn't even licensed. You call and are promised a million times to get a call from a manager and no one ever calls. Cannot be trusted, terrible business model. We had a flood and the second electrician they sent charged us $175 to check that all the outlets were safe and working and he said they were but one of them popped and stopped working when we tried to use it. That could have been really dangerous.

This place is a scam. I had two service calls with this company. I paid to enroll in their 'premium' service. The first trip the technician repaired my furnace by cleaning off the sensor so it would fire correctly. On top of the premium service charge, this cost me over $100. It took the technician less than 10 minutes. He then tried to sell me a replacement and installation for over $300. He claimed the replacement part was $127. I bought it myself and installed it for $10. The second service attempted was for a duct cleaning. The first appointment they did not show up. The second appointment they came two hours ahead of the designated window of time. They were intending to charge $35 a piece per vent (I have 13), as well as approximately $300 more for the return, dryer vent, and intake. When I told them I could get it for less than $300 elsewhere, they immediately moved the price to $300 flat fee. They do not give their customers any sort of best price. I am having the entire service done for under $100 by another company. Do not hire this service.Service: Home maintenance & repairs

The app made scheduling for my plumbing work more fun and easier! The plumbers came out to my house on a Friday and worked all day without charging me extra. They were able to help resolve the issue I was having and even helped put me in touch with someone else to do some other work in the house I will need done. I requested a quote late morning, the worker showed up by early afternoon and completed the job within an hour. Very professional and time efficient, even made sure he didn’t make a mess. I've been trying to get a general current COI to verify this company is insured for the services they claim for the business names they claim for almost 2 weeks. We like the tech who quoted us, and are ready to move forward IF we can confirm this is a legit company... Which is difficult bc they are so secretive about standard business procedures.... just spoke with a senior Manger and he said that was how they were advised by their insurance company to proceed bc they were getting false claims. Hmmm.Also why is this company located inside what appears to be a liquor store? Why can't the city of Hillside confirm this is a legit address/business? When I called and asked the person said they are actually located in Chicago. Hmmm.

I can’t believe all the positive reviews as I had nothing but problems with this company. I hired 2 guys through them. The first was a plumber who charged an incredible fee. No estimate before hand. I called to get an itemized receipt from the company a few times and never got a call back. The handyman was unprofessional.
