Once the gutter guy arrived he did do a good job so that is a positive. Can't recommend Shakes Roofing enough. My roof was a little tricky with it being an insurance claim. They worked hand in hand with the adjuster with any questions they had including multiple onsite visits. Very professional and helpful with photos, reports, email correspondence with insurance. Chad and his team were incredible. The guys on the roof were hands down the hardest working crew I have ever seen. They arrived on time and got right to work. Great experience! Keith (owner) and his guys were fantastic. Friendly, helpful, answered any questions. VERY reasonably priced and great quality for the money. Keith is down to earth and clearly takes pride in his work. He even did a walkover after his crew was finished and made sure everything was picked up and the work completed. The crew was very thorough and respectful of us, our cars, our property, and our dog - when they left, you'd never even know they were here, that's how well they cleaned up. We had our roof replaced and new gutters installed this summer and the end result is gorgeous! Chad Manchester was easy to work with and very patient. It took my husband and me a year and a half to finalize our roof decisions and Chad never pressured or hurried us. He answered all my questions and returned calls promptly. The roofers worked very efficiently and cleaned up well afterward. Mid-roofing, my husband and I inquired about having our gazebo and shed roof replaced; Chad was out within an hour to give us an estimate and had the work completed the same day. Later, when I asked about a few shingles that didn't look right to me, Chad didn't miss a beat--he had someone out to shift them a bit right away--even though no one else would have seen a thing wrong with the work ( I am very picky!).It is very clear that Shakes wants their customers to be satisfied. Highly recommend Shake’s roofing and siding!Keith and his team did an outstanding job on both our roofing and siding project this summer. The team was very professional and made sure that all equipment was organized and orderly at the end of each day. We particularly appreciated the care taken to clear the mess made throughout the day. Though siding can be a little noisy, the team did a great job of working efficiently, and let us know when they would be on break so our little one could get a nap during the day. They even helped our next door neighbor fix their siding job, even though it was done by a completely different company!We are thrilled with the look of the house and with the work done. We have received many compliments from our neighbors about how the whole project turned out. Definitely check these guys out.

I called several roofing contractors to come out and look at our roof. One (popular) contractor was very unhelpful, not willing to come quote or refer me to anyone who could. But Shakes Roofing and Siding WAS responsive and was able to quickly come out and give us an estimate since we were under a time crunch. Shakes Roofing did my roof and gutters of my home. They were professional and very reasonable. Work was done promptly and they quickly cleaned up the site when they finished the work. I just had my roof done by Keith’s team, and I’m thrilled with the results. Frankly, I was nervous going in. I heard construction material prices have skyrocketed in COVID times. I heard about delays in construction due to supply chain issues, also related to COVID. I heard when roofers are done, you’ll be stepping on nails for years to come. I was worried my landscaping would suffer. I feared there would be add-on costs for unforeseen issues.Well, guess what? NONE of that happened. The price was reasonable. The shingles and other materials I wanted were readily available. From the time I first contacted Keith to wrapping up the job, that all took less than three weeks. I don’t know how they did it, but there are no stray nails anywhere. My gardens came out unscathed. The final invoice matched the quote (yes, I realize roofers can’t predict what they’ll find under the old shingles, yet it’s still nice to see the final price matched the quote). My roof was completed on time and largely within budget. No problems thus far with the roof and the workers were professional. Would be 5 stars were it not for the offensive email sent to me as I attempted to re-hire for a second project. Wow! These guys are the best! I have a 12,000 SqFt home. Not only did they get out right away to do estimate but they they stomped on all the other prices. The owner Keith came out himself and explained in such detail how it was all going to go. With the tear off of cedar i expected nails and wood scraps everywere. Nope couldn't find anything. Was very impressed with the management of his crew. Definitely recommend them to anyone...Good job boys! Keep up the great work.....

They turned around a proposal very quickly and they were priced very competitively when compared to others. They also helped consult me about gutter guards and installed those as well.
