On November 22, 2020 we had a house fire. We lost everything in our house. We hired Servpro to rebuild our house. We were out of our house for over a year it was devastating to say the least, but I have to say I love my house now and I can’t thank Servpro of Kankakee enough of the great job they all did. The Communication with us was never ending . The owner Bobby worked with us and did a great job explaining everything and communicating with us every step of the way! I have to say I love my kitchen and was able to change a few things to make my kitchen bigger!A couple employees that reallyhelped us was Mike and Osie. Mike did a great job and Osie was the best! Osie went way beyond helping us and doing anything we asked him to do! Osie did a great job doing all the tile in my house. He is a very hard and talented worker and he loves his job and it shows!Just recently, my basement flooded in December 2023 and I called the owner of Servpro On a Sunday night and he called me back within a few minutes and his crew was out the next day ! We hired them again to finish our basement and they did a great job!Like it never happened!!

Thank you servopro of Kankakee for coming out as soon as possible to tarp up my garage so it didn’t leak when rain was coming. soon as I got the product and had it at my house they came out the next day and fixed up my garage looks like there was never a problem. Bobby, Mike and Osie did a great job cleaning up after the Herscher Flood. The removed sewage water from our basement cleaned it up and restored the finished basement to better than before condition. We had a fire on June 3rd, car burn to the ground it messed up our driveway , burned our garage and also had some fire damage on the back of our house.The SERVPRO team did a wonderful job of fixing everything. Everything looks a hundred percent better than it did before!

I am very happy with the service that Curtis, Dylan, and Justin provided at my rental property. They were very informative and educated me on my options. They worked around the needs of the tenant and was willing to go above and beyond as I was out of town when the damage occurred. 5 Star service in my book. After calling Servpro of Kankakee they were at our house inside of a 2hr. Our water heater had failed and had flooded most of our basement. They brought in plenty of fans and dehumidifiers. They moved all furniture and household items to the dry areas of the basement and removed the affected padding. They were very attentive to our needs. They set up contractors for the water heater replacement and for the padding replacement. Hands down the best company to call. They took care of everything for us. It was such a relief. They took care of everything with our insurance company and made the process seamless! They are awesome! Very friendly and respectful staff. 5 star service! Servpro was hired to locate a water leak in my bedroom. Their first step was removing the entire carpet from the room and furniture. The staff were very professional and punctual. They showed respect (cleaned up after each completed task) for my home. All necessary professionals were utilized throughout the process and were well trained. In addition, the supervisor kept me updated with accurate times frames of each required tasks. I give Servpro Five Stars 🌟.Initially I wrote a raving review regarding Servpro. However, a couple of months later, I found some of their projects were not completely well and they damaged and broke items. Also, there was a carpet runner they took to clean, and never return it. The most thing that stood out was my expensive new bed frame. It was chipped in several area. They knew they had damaged that item, but I didn’t see it until months, later. They broke an expensive vase, fortunately, I heard that item break. They did offer to pay for that. I still stand by my compliments that they were professional as it relates to how they advise me along the way of different job tasks they were doing. And they were very punctual. But, I would now rate them with a two and half star and would probably not recommend them to family or friends.Services: Water damage-related cleanup & repair, Plumbing

I first met the Servpro team due to an unfortunate fire at my establishment. What started off as a fire cleanup, boarding up windows, doors, water cleanup, turned into much much more.They did everything!! Efficiently!! Professionally!! Timely!!They completely removed the entire burned area and all the debris.Talk about build back better, that’s exactly what this team did!Not only did they clean everything up from the fire, but they built me a brand new area that was way better than it ever started out to be!This was almost 2 years ago. But in this time when they were doing all this work for me, I found that these are guys that I could lean on for pretty much anything that I needed. Once the rebuild was done I called them back to replace floors, taking out the old and putting in the new. I called them back for painting projects. I called them back for all kinds of security purposes. I found these guys are always a phone call away.To say that they are my knights in shining armor is really an understatement. I am so very thankful to the entire Servpro team for everything they did to help us during our darkest hour during the fire and everything that I called upon them to do afterwards. I strongly recommend to anybody who has any kind of fire or any kind of damages that needs cleanup, you can 100% rely on the Servpro team of Kankakee! I know that I do! Our office had flood damage to an office that had tons of paperwork in it. On 5/29/20 SERVPRO sent two outstanding workers, Simon and Curtis. They were on time and were beyond polite and responsive to our needs in moving massive amounts of wet paperwork out of that office. They never took a break and busted their butts moving it quickly and efficiently. They were never disruptive to the employees that were trying to get work done. Once I gave them the objective of where to move stuff, they worked independently. I guess nowadays, you see workers that just don't care about the job they do, and I wanted to say to anyone reading this that if you can get Simon and Curtis, you won't have a worry. Highly recommend!I would like the owner to call so I can talk to him about how great his workers are.

Servpro was amazing from the beginning until the very end! Bill helped us through the initial stages. He was so kind and helpful. Bobby answered any questions we had and made the process run smoothly. He always returned my calls quickly. Tracy was amazing! She explained everything and answered so many of my questions. Her team was also very good and worked to get things back in order quickly. They helped with every step of the process and made sure things were done correctly. Tracy even helped me find other services we needed in order to get our home back to normal. Servpro made a difficult time a little easier! I definitely recommend them!

Our experience is that this company made a bad situation worse. After a house fire, it took 5 weeks to remove our belongings for cleaning and storage. The wet areas were dealt with last, so things were moldy and stinking. Worse was that while removing our belongings, damage was done to our 110+ year old home - original wood trim, doors, floor and stairs were scratched and gouged. The floor and one stair were repaired, but scratches to wood trim and doors has not been repaired and this original woodwork can not be replaced. All communication with them has to be done multiple times as the standard response is, ""I'll check in to that", and then nothing is done. We had a very poor experience with this company and would NOT recommend anyone use them.Service: Fire damage cleanup & repair

I am currently selling my mom's farmhouse as she has moved to assisted living. I am in Colorado. She and her home are in Illinois. We had a massive water leak that caused serious damage to our floors on two levels as well as to the ceiling. ServPro was amazing. My realtor in Illinois connected me with them and Mike Randolph was particularly helpful. He took photos of the readings of each area being dried, kept me updated on the progress and did an excellent job of cleaning up a mess that I had no way to deal with from 1,000 miles distance. I can't recommend this company enough. Their communication with me as well as their knowledge of the situation was above par and frankly, exceptional.Eternally grateful for their help with a very stressful situation.

In each and every case, they were extremely prompt in their response and professional in their handling of our issues. They worked with us to get all cleanup done quickly while working around our schedules. The team answered our questions, and they were receptive to our requests. Not only were the field teams exceptional, but the office staff was equally professional in their handling of our situations.
