I am impressed with this company. Great people providing excellent customer service. Our heater stopped working and they were able to send sales rep Ryan at our place within 1 hour to discuss my options and give a quote. I went ahead with replacing parts and Logan from service came out today to replace parts on my furnace. He did an excellent job and got my heater up and running in no time. Their pricing is also very competitive. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. This will be my go to place for any future HVAC or plumbing needs.

Brady employees Vick and Brady did a wonderful job totally overhauling my 70 years old sewer system replacing old cracked cast iron pipes with new PVC. This done in a small basement crawl space. My two bathroom stools received new parts where needed. All done in one day and the price quoted was reasonable. I would highly recommend Brady company should you need any sewer repairs.

Excellent customer service. I purchased my home in 2018 and that first winter I heard a bunch of strange noises coming from my boiler heat. A service rep came out right away and informed me it was "kettling" and advised I save up some money because there wasn't much life left in the boiler. Sure enough, fast forward to Feb 2023 and the boiler went out, was leaking and beyond repair. Thanks to the initial inspection from 5 years prior I had the money! They came out same day and installed the following. The installer, Ben was very knowledgable in his field and took the time to walk us through valves he added, and mentioned he heard some warning signs from our water heater. He was very honest saying no need to replace now, but just a heads up. Very forward-thinking staff! Furthermore, the call center was pleasant to deal with and even informed us of the recommended maintenance schedule for the boiler. We are signing up for their yearly maintenance program as a result to extend the life of the new boiler. Overall a top notch experience and very fair price that aligned with online research!

For the last couple of years, we have had an ongoing "Banging" sound from my boiler. We have had two other companies, come out and look at our boiler system, and were told there was no problem with it. So, we have been living with the loud bang. It seemed to be an intermittent sound, and we were not able to duplicate it. I know, that is the worst kind of problem. The sound was defiantly out of caricature. After hours of trying to get the bang recorded, we finely got it on a video. Knowing that we had a video to show the problem, I gave you guys a call again. On last Tuesday, 1/30/24 you dispatched your boiler guy, Dan to our house. After listing to the video, he was able to determine the sound as a "Water Hammer". Now, to the repair. I think he was a bit stumped, like the other techs that had looked at it before. He gave it a lot of thought, and even made a couple of calls to try and get a sense of direction. He stuck with and did find that my one of my zone valves was not working correctly. At last. my "Bang' is gone!!! I just wanted to give a shout out to Dan, your boiler technician, and to the staff a J.L. Brady for sticking with it, and finding my problem. Sometimes, good work goes unmentioned, and I wanted to say thanks you for the good service. Dan should get the gold service star!! We called on a Thursday and set up an appointment for Tuesday the following week. We had the spigot replaced. They showed up on time, were quick and respectful. Very fair priced. It was our first time using J.L. Brady and we will definitely call in the future for our plumbing needs.

Our AC stopped working in 90 degree temps. Tyler was at our home in 20 mins. and our AC was working within an hour! Everyone was incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable! I would highly recommend JL Brady for HVAC repairs!

My water heater started leaking, as well as the discharge hose from my garbage disposal. They were both 20 years old, so I knew they were overdue to be replaced. J. L. Brady was able to do the repair within a day of my calling. The plumber (Ryan) was friendly, professional, and did a great job replacing both, and later, a nearby solder joint that started leaking. I'm very happy with my entire experience with J. L. Brady.

Do not contact JL Brady Co. For any work, (im speaking on be half of my older parents). JL Bradyco was contacted to replace an outside hose bib, they sent out one of the plumbers to do the work. About a few months later the hose bib snapped off the wall, because JL Brady never secured the hise bib to the home instead their "certified plumber" relied on the copper fittings/pipe to support the forces exerted on the garden hose. Then after inspecting the rest of the work done by JL Brady Co. "Certifed plumber" it was found that 20% of the connections were not secured or Crimped together and were just dangling in the fitting ( if you research why (pro press ) or any crimped style fitting leak it is cause by not being crimped in the first place)JL BRADY CO. was contacted to complete not warranty the job they were paid to do but declined and said its out of warranty and wouldn't be doing it.JL BRADY CO. Does not have a qualified plumber because a qualified plumber would not leave 20 % of the connections not secured.DO NOT EVER USE JL BRADY CO. FOR ANY PLUMBING WORK. THEY HAVE NO ONE REMOTELY QUALIFIED.Here is a photo a fitting and pipe they didn't secure properly.From the photo you can see one side of the shut off valve they installed is crimped and secured but the other is not...their " qualified plumber"couldn't even re-check the connections they made before they left ...paid for professional work and got high school shop class special instead.

I was so impressed with JL Brady Co that I felt compelled to write a review. I have always used a more local company for everything HVAC, but their customer service has declined. I wanted to get a new min-split system installed. The other company told me it would take 45-60 days just to get a sales person to my house, and then another 45-60 days to get it ordered and installed.I then called JL Brady and they sent a sales person to my house just 2 hours later! I already saved 2 months! A couples days later I received the estimate, approved it, got on their schedule for the following Friday and it was installed in one day. From start to finish it took 12 days instead of 120! The salesman was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The installers were as well and did amazing work. The installation looks great both inside and out. I am so happy with the decision to go with JL Brady Co for this system, and I highly recommend them to others.Services: Installation, Ductless heating & A/C services

Our ac decided to go out right when there was a heatwave and we have a 1 year old and 4 year old. Places were 2 weeks out and I made an appointment with them. They had a list and were getting to everyone as fast as they could, I called on a Thursday. They called me later that day and said they could send someone out that next morning. Our ac was going to cost more then it was worth so we got a new one, to help us try to get through the weekend they attempted to get the old ac okay for a few days to get us by.. They were so helpful and gave us all the options. They tried to come that next Monday to install the new one but were not able to get to it but did call and apologize and let me know they would be there first thing the next morning at 7 (which was the original date they said) . The worker was here right at 7 and was able to replace our ac unit, make sure all of our vents were working and in good shape and went above and beyond for us on a few other things, we are very appreciative and will be calling them again for anything else.Services: A/C system repair, Installation

My wife and I had our basement plumbing replaced. Wow... Very poor customer service! I had a visit scheduled for over a week. Day of came and I missed a call from them. Within 5 minutes I returned the call and let them know I'm home and waiting. They did not tell me they sent tech to a different job. So here I am looking out window every 5 minutes. After 45 minutes I call back and was informed. I could not believe that Lori was making it out to be MY fault. Telling me this is how this works. She refused to apologize for the inconvenience and asked me how OLD i was to belittle my concerns. This is very poor business and will NEVER suggest them

We have used JL Brady several times now. They installed our furnace about 6 years ago and every time they come out for annual service they are on time and more than courteous. The last time they were out, they noticed a couple of things that needed attention that we hadn't even called for and took care of it on the spot. Our AC wasn’t working and they initially said it could be next week before they could get to us but we decided to get on the list anyway. Later that day they called back and they got someone to our house. Even though they gave us bad news about our current AC they were quick to give us a quote and install on the same day. Bad time? no problem! Our heater blower motor went out on on our furnace on the coldest day of the year so far 2/13/21. My wife called and we were patched through to our tech Matt. Matt was responsive in diagnosing the issue and then was able to retrieve a new motor from the warehouse before closing and then made it back to the house for the install on a Saturday on Valentine's day weekend. Let me first say that I did very extensive research in pricing out different Heating and Cooling companies in the Quad Cities. I consider myself a difficult customer, due to the fact I try to really find the best deal to meet my needs. My house was very old and had a crawl space that made the job a little more difficult. After looking at all the major companies in the QC JL Brady came through well ahead in price and presentation before I ever thought about committing to purchase. Not to mention their product line Lennox is by far the best around. They replaced my 30+ year old furnace with a brand new lennox. The service and sales team took their time and worked with me extensively to make sure I had the best unit to meet my needs. When I say they took their time, I changed my mind about 5 times right up till the day of install. I kept going back and forth on the many different options but in the end they really recommended the best unit for my house and didn't try to pressure me into upselling me something not needed. On top of that they took their time during the install process and fixed several issues they found while installing my new furnace and A/C. The best part of this is that they honored their quote (which was the best price I could find). I was impressed by how friendly and personable their installers were, they really made me feel like my house was the most important job they have done. I would highly recommend you put them on your short list and make sure you give them the chance to give you a price. Had a service call blower motor wouldn't shut off and A/C wouldn't come on. First thing the repair man said was furnace was old. Then quoted me $500 for a fan limit switch and $500 for control module plus labor. So around $1400 to fix it. So he recommended replacement at $5600.. I know he was lying about the parts prices and did no work to actually fix the problem. Just spent time giving me a replacement quote. At the end I got $160 Bill and nothing accomplished!. But I knew something wasn't right. Called another repair man. He came reset the furnace roll out switch and said my furnace could last for years. I've placed two phone calls to JL Brady and been promised calls back from a service manager. But I received none.

Our furnace went out on a Sunday night. They were here within an hour and a half and figured out what was wrong within a few minutes. Last summer, we had JL Brady come out to install central air conditioning. I couldn't believe how quickly they got everything done!! Mr. Timm came to review the job and quote it and we were very happy with the price, so we advised we would proceed. The VERY next day, they had a tech on-site to install the system!! I couldn't have been happier with my experience with this company. Excellent customer service and very fast, professional, efficient install!! Very pleased!!

My pilot light kept going out. John came to my home used a small wire brush on a part to clean it and said call me if that doesn’t solve the issue, which took him about 5 minutes tops. Within a hour my furnace still wasn’t working! I would not recommend this business.

When we moved into our new home we noticed a stale smell when the air was running. We called J.L. Brady and they came out that day. They noticed our home not only did not have enough returns but the unit was too small for the size of our home. They did a complete overhall with new duct work, more returns and more registers throughout our home, a two stage unit was installed with two thermostats to control from each end of the house, new hot water heater and moved the location of the furnace to make it more efficient. We were amazed this was all done in one week and the staff that was in our home was professional and cleaned up and hauled away everything. They truly treat you like family and I would highly recommend them! Thank you J.L. Brady for taking such great care of our home and us!

During our late June heat wave our air conditioner broke down and I contacted J.L. Brady after business hours. The answering service got a hold of a technician and I was contacted by him a short time later. He was busy and unable to come to my home but he gave me some troubleshooting pointers which proved unsuccessful due the serious nature of the problem . J.L Brady contacted me first thing the next morning and got a technician to my home a short time later. The technician diagnosed the problem as a faulty compressor and a new unit was the logical choice. Due to the ongoing heat wave I figured I would be without air conditioning for a few days. My technician contacted the main office and they were able to free up a technician from another job and he got my new unit installed by early afternoon that day. Thank you for the outstanding customer service!

These guys are the best! This winter/spring I had a Hi-Velocity Air Conditioning system put in my historic 1926 home as no conventional system would work here with no existing ducts. They were very professional, extremely knowledgeable and very competitively priced. If you need some serious work done, these are the guys to hire. They have also been my go to company for any work on my boiler or my radiators over the last 2 decades.
