Richard Vest of Daddy and Daughter's Services has been working with us for a couple of weeks now doing various exterior and interior painting projects, exterior power/soft washing, deck staining and miscellaneous yardwork. His team is friendly, efficient and flexible, serving the needs of the homeowner in every way requested. We have had a lot of jobs done , big and small, with each job being done well and in a timely manner. His services are very competitively priced and affordable. I had my gutters cleaned and they looked brand new after Richard was done. Recently he has started to help my mom with yard work. Making things alot easier for her. When he is done, the bushes looked great and there was no mess what so ever. Very personable, respectful and knows what he is doing. I highly recommend this service. My name is Terry Routh. We used Richard for the installation of our Christmas lights, 2022. He overlapped them, so we had a lot of gaps. I told him I would get another section, which I did. I let him know I had the panel, and asking when he could finish the job. No answer. A week passed and I messaged him again. Still nothing. The section sat on our porch this whole time, he never showed. I paid for installation, take down, and for him to store the lights. Because of the gaps, he said he'd come back and do whatever necessary to fix the gaps and make me happy. That never happened. Our lights looked horrible this Christmas season with all the gaps. What makes me the saddest? These were my moms lights. After she passed away, my dad no longer wanted them. Another company was installing them, however they sent a letter last year that it was their last. I had other jobs for this company to do, we discussed them in detail. I'm not sure why I'm being ghosted. Before he came to install, he was here to look at the job on December 1, after messaging on the 30th, phone conversations the 1st. He did the installation on Dec 2. We had discussed and he had shown me our home via Google Earth and the square footage on Nov 30th. We spoke and he said it would be $300. I initially thought this business owner had been taught common courtesy. I was very, very wrong. Because this business owner doesn't return messages or show up to finish a job, I would not recommend Richard Vest to do any work around your home. My gosh, we have so much work that needs to be done. It's incredulous to me that these so called handyman type people aren't interested in making money. I'm calling someone Monday to take the lights down, which I will then pay twice for. Makes sense, right? Wrong. It's pathetic.

Richard and his team arrived on time and cleaned my gutters, fixed some problem areas, and hauled away the debris. They cleaned up after themselves and worked swiftly. Would recommend!Service: Gutter cleaning

Appeared May 27 for a few hours and then had one problem after another why he couldn't come back and finish the job. Then when I keep on him to get him back here he gets mad and says he is not coming and he's finished. This is on July 7. Does not communicate with you so I have to keep calling to find anything out. I don't know why he gets a 5 star rating when he operates like this. I highly don't recommend him to do anything. As you can see by his very false reply below he is not to be trusted. He wouldn't know the truth if it hit him in the face. What I said is the truth. I wouldn't lie just to ruin his business. Please spare yourself the trouble. Do not use him.
