J&B Home Renovations Inc. is the first business I turn to/think of when I have any issue in my home. I have had two recent experiences with them (a complete roof tear off/redo for the condo building where I own a unit and a rehab inside by unit, including a GUT rehab of one room) and their work ethic/quality now serves as the standard by which I rate all other vendors.RoofThe roof of my condo building was in bad shape and I had a number of vendors bid for the tear off/redo. Representatives from J&B Home Renovations Inc. visited the site twice and then came to my home to explain in great detail exactly what was wrong with the roof and how they would fix it. They then offered to walk each and every owner in the building through this very same process. They began the work immediately and completed it within three days. I visited the roof myself when it was complete and I was in awe of the beauty of their work. Because they did such a good job on the roof, I asked if they could do work interior to my unit. They did a walk through and indicated that they knew someone who could do the work but recommended waiting at least two weeks to make sure I was personally satisfied with their work on the roof before proceeding. After two weeks, I asked when they could start work to the interior of my unit.Inside RehabInside my unit, I had a number of places on the ceiling that needed repairs due to leaks and one room that needed a gut rehab (it was literally down to the studs). J&B Home Renovations Inc. installed new floors (and somehow matched them exactly to the existing floors that were over 10 years old), insulation, drywall, doors, they painted, installed a ceiling fan, etc. Their work is of incredible quality, they put great attention to detail, and are honest.I have and would recommend them to anyone in need of repairs. Their work is unparalleled, they are fair and honest, and treat their customers with great respect. I also now consider the co-owners to be very good family friends.

Mary and her team did an outstanding job in installing a new roof to the whole house. This work is new to me but Mary explains how the work is to be done and is easy to reach out if you have concerns. The team started early as agreed and left the vicinity clean. Another thing is the material used is of good quality when I googled it. The company also did some repairs inside the house and I was happy with the results. Great job.

I would highly recommend Jonathan and Mary's company J&B Home Renovations. My parents had been looking for a company to replace their roof for some time. Most companies had bad customer service, they either never followed up, or they took a long time to provide an estimate. Mary responded to my email inquiry within two days. We promptly made an appointment for them to go to my parent's house that weekend. Jonathan and Mary were on time, did the roof measurements, and provided my parents with an estimate the same day! (bonus that they spoke Spanish and could communicate with my parents without a translator). They recommended adding new gutters and provided us with an estimate, but there was no pressure on their part for us to agree to do it. Once we agreed on a budget they described the process step by step, answered all of our questions, and started the project the following week, as agreed. The workers were very professional and took precautions so as to not damage our property or the neighbors'. The roof and gutters were completed on time, on budget, and look great! Jonathan and Mary were always available for updates and questions. We were so pleased with the way the company worked that we are going to call on them for any other home renovation needs. We will also be recommending them to family and friends. It was so nice to have such a big project completed with no headaches, just professionalism at all times. When we decided to replace our roof, I called three contractors to review the roof and provide a quote. I had three rather different experiences. One arrived and went on my roof and left without talking to me. Strike 1. The next one went up on the roof with me, told me I had hail damage, detailed all the steps to take with the insurance company, told me he could ‘probably get me some cash back from the insurance' as well, and then showed off pictures of his racing boats. Strike 2. When Mary came from J & B he described the work to be done and took the time to answer my questions (I had a few). Everything seemed right about this company and what he was telling us. Third time is a charm. Bottom line is the work was completed by J & B exactly as described by Mary . The job went along as well as you would hope for. No surprises. No BS. No extra charges. Mary and Julio (or Jonathon? I heard people call him Julio but in other google reviews ppl called him Jonathon) responded quickly to my inquiry and I really liked communicating with them. Their company is a family business and they do take good care of their clients. In my case, I have a section of old hidden gutter which was rusted long ago and needed to be replaced, as well as the soffit/fascia due to water damage. Then new gutter needs to be installed. Julio did most of the roof repair work by himself (with some help from his nephew and son), since it is not a big project and my house is a ranch so it is relatively safe to work on roof. He did the project meticulously. I truly believe he tried his best to do it the proper way, didn't cut any corners. Later he also suggested me to install new gutter and gutter guard for the rest of the house, which I agreed (not without hesitation but I still agreed with him). After installation, Mary would come back for inspection and will answer any questions that I have. Even the two young workers doing gutter installation are very nice, and they are willing to communicate with me in English (I don't know Spanish). The whole job was done within one week, as planned, right before July Fourth, so we can enjoy the holiday without worrying about the roof and gutter. The only improvement I would advise them, is that they may want to modernize their paperwork system, i.e., send an electronic quote instead of a paper one. In fact at that time, I did get a few typed electronic quotes (in clear details) from other companies, but I still chose them, since their response is fast, communication is good, and they seem really trustworthy. But it would be better if they can improve on this so the client can keep an electronic record.Services: Gutter installation, Roof repair
