I had such a great experience with Lakeland, I highly recommend them. I just bought my house last year so beyond having a roofer address a specific issue, I wanted everything checked out. Derek visited my home quickly after my initial call, he thoroughly evaluated the roof and then focused only on the work that needed be done (all of which was visible). I approved their very reasonable estimate as soon as it arrived and they completed the work within a couple of weeks. They were professional, detailed, communicative, responsive, reasonably priced and did great work. They worked with my schedule and didn't waste time when they were on-site. Brian and his roofing team and gutter team were excellent! They were on time, arrived on their scheduled days, contacted me when a rain day occurred to reschedule asap and called again after everything was installed to make sure my husband and myself were happy with their work.I had scheduled consults with 6 roofing companies total. What really sold us on Lakeland in the end (besides their all around great professional vibe and knowledge) was their ability to talk to my husband AND myself (a woman) in the same manner, making sure both of our opinions were heard and making eye contact with me as well. The entire process from scheduling a roof replacement to the completion was seamless and actually enjoyable. The bid was competitive and Derek was able to schedule my work within a reasonable time frame. The team was courteous as they worked hard on a hot day to finish my roof. I cannot recommend Derek and his team highly enough. They came over after another roofing company charged me and did not fix the roof issue that was causing water to leak into the house. They arrived exactly when they said they would, were able to diagnose the problem right away, and got to work quickly and efficiently to get the job done. I haven't had a drop of water since! They were also very professional, friendly, and very patient explaining the issue and answering all of my questions. From the first call to the completion of the job, Derrick was responsive and patient, taking extra time and great care to explain every step in detail and to guide through the entire process. His customer service and communication was exceptional. In my business as a realtor I know that clear communication is everything! Especially when you are working with a condo association where extra hand holding is needed. Derrick also went out of his way to make sure we got exactly what we needed at the most affordable price, understanding that we had a budget. When the work began, the crew was exceptional. They were quick yet they took their time to do things right, which I very much appreciated. Each day the worksite was left immaculate. Derrick oversaw every step and was available for questions along the way. In the end, me and my fellow condo owners couldn’t be happier with the work. We had a garage re-roofed, repair to a main roof, and metal capping installed over a parapet wall that. resolved longstanding leaking. And I can’t believe how beautiful the capping is too! Derrick made an extra trip to bring color samples to make sure it looked perfect. I can actually even say that it was a pleasure to work with Derrick and Lakeland Roofers in spite of the stress of the large projects.
