1 call and 2 emails asking for an inspection quote. Finally I only received an email of a price that was way over what I could have imagined. They were replacing everything-from the whole roof to the vents to the flat roof area where I’ve had zero problems. No one ever came out for an inspection or took photos to show me, or sit down with me to explain what might be needed which is standard practice. I was given 15 days to accept this offer or not because they state the price may change-go up I would assume. I cannot possibly recommend this company and buyer beware!

When my request for service finally got to the supervisor, he surveyed the issue, determined what was needed. A crew came out the next day and climbed my steep roof and caulked my chimney flashing. Done in about and hour. No weather to test for leaks yet, but a professionally done job.Thank you.

I have used Prate for many years, and every time they provided high-rate service with good quality at an affordable price.A few years ago they replaced my old rubber vent boots with lead boots at good price with good quality.They also inspected and repaired my roof and installed an attic fan several years ago at very affordable price.Now they replaced my damaged ridge vent and repaired some flashing, and it was done very well and at low price.Their owner, Michael Prate, took very good care of my roof, and John and Pat installed the ridge and showed and explained everything very well.Their office employee, Terri, is also a very special and kind person who was very friendly and courteous.They made my day yet again.Services: Roof repair for storm & wind damage, Roof inspection, Roof repair

It was a two day process and their outstanding crew of five, lead by Mario, were very hardworking and professional. Angel, their office manager, was super helpful and efficient in getting our work completed within two weeks of our order. We highly recommend and endorse Prate Roofing.

Their pricing was always competitive, but their customer service is what keeps me going back to them when the need arise. They came out and told us we did not need a new roof. They told us to seal it and do gutters. The one repairman was smoking on our property and throwing cigarettes all over but the main problem is we listened to them by only sealing roof. The roof leaked and ruined our inside remodel. Hands down the best roofing/siding contractor in the area. Allow you to be hands-off and will take care of everything for you. In the event of a disaster, they will work directly with your insurance company, giving you one less thing to worry about.

They put a hole through my roof and ceiling, didn't apologize for it at all and laughed when I complained to them about it. Very unprofessional and not worth anyone's time and money. Save your money and use someone that's more reliable and professional.

We had a Prate roofer inspect our leaking roof 3 1/2 weeks ago and are still waiting to receive the quote. I have made several calls to follow up and keep getting told they need to send another person round to complete the quote - yet they never come. This company is clearly not interested in repairing our clay tile roof - their speciality apparently. Save yourself time and energy and go elsewhere.

Typical cocky roofing salesman cannot follow simple direction by calling before he shows up in my tenants driveway. After asking why he cannot follow simple directions he told it's not a big deal and he has a shitload of calls to make. Thanks Jon the salesman for your hardwork!
