I called Empire and they said a technician would come to my home and it would cost $299.00. They claimed to have a location on Ridge rd in Wilmette (which is actually an apartment building I found out). A tech came to my home that was an independent contractor and proceeded to charge $350.00 for a $12.00 part. The tech spent 35 minutes on the property. When I called to speak with a manager the customer service rep told me that they have never been to the office and they did not have a number for the manager. They did say that they would have a manager call asap, a manager has still not called me back 36 hrs later. The pricing is way too high, and I feel like I was taken advantage of. I would not recommend using Empire. I should have done more research, shame on me.Service: Repair HVAC

Our furnace went out last night. Empire Heating & Air Conditioning arrived by 7am, diagnosed the issue and helped us evaluate our options. Our ultimate decision was to not sink a lot of money into a 17year old furnace. Empire Heating & Air Conditioning has the one one out and new one up and running by 1pm - all in one day. Their team was polite and professional. They protected the floors with drop cloths and left everything clean when they were finished. We will continue to use them for service in the future.

We called Empire for a checkup of the HVAC system in a home we just purchased. We were told the visit would cost $179. A third party company arrived, apparently they had farmer the job out to another company, which then charged us $450 for the job. We contacted Empire trying to resolve the issue, they insisted only they do their own work. Clearly someone is lying to us, perhaps look elsewhere for HVAC work as they can’t be trusted.

Ken was a referral from a good friend of mine, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is in need of a new a/c and furnace. I'm a very satisfied customer!

The AC upstairs unit lost power on July 4th....very hot day! Called Empire Heating & Air Conditioning 9pm and they sent someone out to diagnose within the hour. Not only did they fix the unit, they also went over and beyond what was expected by inspecting the other unit. The technician was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. This is the second time I used this company. Glad to see the service is still stellar and hasn't fallen off over the years!

My technician by far is one of the most professional techs I have ever had. He came by on Wed night, diagnosed why my furnace wasn't producing heat, acquired a new circuit board and came back to install it. Heat is on and we couldn't be happier. He also mentioned the Empire Heating & Air Conditioning maintenance plan and newsletter, and I am signed up and ready to go. Definitely a company worth going to if you ever have furnace or a/c issues.

I had called Empire Heating & Air Conditioning for a 2nd opinion after I was told I had to replace an AC on my moms rental property. We were pleasantly surprised that they took the time to clean out the system and got it running again. So much so that I signed on for a maintenance contract on that unit. Impressive service. Our furnace went out on a chilly night. I called Empire Heating & Air Conditioning and spoke to a scheduler who confirmed they would be available the next day. Our Central Air Conditioning went out over the weekend. Empire Heating & Air Conditioning (of the 5 companies we called) was able to schedule a service technician to our house the quickest - Monday morning! An outstanding organization. I had them replace my heating and air conditioner assistant about four years ago. Since then I have had them install a furnace humidifier and perform annual check ups of both the furnace and air conditioning systems. The worst that can happen is that your air conditioner fail in a hot day. But the they was saved when I found Empire Heating & air conditioner. The customer service representative that answer the phone promptly react to my problem and he call one of the technician who came in less than an hour and found the problem and fixed, in addition he gave some additional maintenance to make sure that will continue working and cooling property.I'm so pleased with the professional service that I got from Empire Heating & Air Conditioner.
