8/17/2020 Re construction did replace our roof today. They did excellent, professional, quality work. They were above and beyond my expectations. Recently we had some shingles blow off the roof of our 2 story home. I was looking for someone to tarp the area prior to an approaching weather system. RE Construction offered to tarp the area without cost. It's rare these days for a company for offer to help a homeowner without charging anything other than asking for the opportunity to replace the roof if we decided to so. While I used to be able to do repairs myself, that has become more challenging especially on a roof that's 30 foot tall in the front. I offered to pay him repeatedly and would have gladly done so.

My client had a faulty roof that was going to be difficult to repair and warranty, but also was going to be difficult to get insurance company to cover. After a conversation with Re-construction over the phone to discuss the situation, they promptly sent out a representative who discussed the process with homeowner. He politely told them that he would inspect, and would let them and myself know if they could do anything or not. After inspection, he was able to get the roof covered by insurance. I was very impressed with their professionalism, and how they were able to help the homeowner where I could not. Client was able to get a complete new roof at minimal expense versus a Costly repair that would only buy them some time. Very pleased with what they were able to do for my client.

These people knocked on my door and told me that they had been on my neighbor’s roof doing an estimate and noticed I had hail damage. Then he proceeded to ask if he could do an inspection. My husband was just on my roof one week prior and there was no hail damage. Also, I contacted all of my neighbors and he had not been on anyone’s roof. That was an outright lie trying to drum up business and sell a roof to people that don’t need it. The neighbors had said he fed them the exact same story. Any company desperate enough to knock on your door and try and worry you into buying work from them should not be used! Please check your local reviews about credible construction companies and don’t use people randomly knocking on your door!

Purchased gutters and Gutter guards on 6/19/2020 just realized on May 27, 2021 the guards were never installed. Gutters were installed on July 28, 2020. Word to the wise keep an eye on these workers if you choose to use this company. They did some other work for us and we ended up with a flat tire on our car due to a nail most likely left in the driveway. The workers are not the neatest. I would never recommend this company to a friend. Their contract states payment schedule is 50% up front and the remaining 50% due on completion. Any deviation will result in a $250 for payment plan. So what result should the consumer get for not having a completed project for 11 months after fulfilling full payment?

This company does not even deserve one star. Like the other reviewer stated on reviews rep gave same excuse that he had been to neighbor's house giving an estimate. We ended up going with them and deeply regret it. They were tardy to projects, unprepared with materials when arriving to job site, left because they supposedly ran out of paint. One of the workers was holding his arm I think he was just tired from using the long handled paint roller. They were only here part of the day. They did interior work and got paint droplets all over my kitchen and great room floors. Even found spots on my countertops and couch. Linoleum and carpet were in excellent condition and newer. The paint job was very unprofessional. Streaks very noticeable. The second time they arrived to finish the interior work. One worker showed up again late and explained other guy was buying paint at Sherman-Williams. I called the receptionist one time and was told the owner and advertising rep was in Chicago on business and my boyfriend ran into him advertising at Menards the same night. When I questioned it I was told receptionist doesn't keep his schedule. No accountability with this company. Ceiling that was supposed to be replaced they took a shortcut on and just pasted over and attempted to paste soiled areas and just paint over. And unfortunately they were hired for three different projects for compensation from insurance. The roof was the only project they completed. Now we are planing on having it re-inspected to make sure it's not like interior work. Siding never has been done. Once I complained workers were pulled off job. Rep said he was walking. I was told the owner has nothing to do with the business. I had requested the owner to call but she never did. Also offered to meet with her at the office with my boyfriend to have a sit-down I never heard back from her. She did end up messaging me on Facebook though telling me I was making her uncomfortable when I've never met her in person or even talked to her on the phone. Still no apology to date. On to court😣

Five stars for exceptional customer service, excellent communication, flexibility when working within my budget, and overall professionalism. From the start Justin Lowe and Brenda have been nothing if not friendly and accommodating. Between them, they have taken what could have been a nightmarish process and instead turned it into a straightforward and painless journey. Justin has gone beyond expectations in taking the time to thoroughly explain each step of the process in detail, even going so far as answering his phone on a holiday weekend when I called with questions. They have worked with my insurance company every step of the way to ensure I was taken care of. Additionally, I have ended up being able to get twice as much work/updates done on my home than I originally anticipated, for about a third of what I had expected to spend. Overall I could not be more pleased with the level of courtesy and service I have received. I would highly recommend reconstruction services to anyone and will certainly continue using them for work on my own home in the future!

They came out to measure the roof but would not provide an estiment. I called several times but they never responded. Must not need the work.
