I had my basement flood with 6 inches of water, all of my belonging were soaked, and I thought that i would have to get rid of everything . I had a friend refer me to Absolutely Dry, she called them for a similar situation, and had great things to say.So i gave them a call and they were at my house very quickly. They sucked all the water out and moved my hole basement around. I was pretty nervous cause i never had anything like this happen to me, but the staff there was so nice and understanding. They explained everything that they were doing and what they were going to do. They came back daily to check on how my basement was drying, adjusting their equipment, and keeping me posted the hole time. Great experience with them, friendly, nice, and fast! Would recommend Absolutely Dry to anyone who has a flooded basement! Thanks a ton guys!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I have never met anyone with shadier business practices. Due to a personal issue with my husband being a former employee, the owner is doing everything in his power to make our lives difficult including attempting to put a lien on our home. We received an invoice for work that was done (which we’ve always agreed to pay as it was an insurance job, but haven’t received the check from the insurance) on 11/15. Today, I received a lien notice in the mail dated 12/11. Their own invoices give 30 days to pay, but he’s going to put a lien on our property within 25? Sure, he’s certainly within his legal rights to do so, but it’s pretty shifty. That’s also just the tip of the iceberg of the shadiness going on in this company. The employees do awesome work and are great guys, but Vic is an absolute snake. STAY AWAY!

The team departed without notice and did not complete the job. They did not provide all services promised. Supervision and effective communication were lacking. Basically, they took advantage of the destruction caused by hurricane Florence to make a quick buck and departed without providing the professional remediation promised. Be very cautious if you are thinking of hiring this company.I have reached out multiple times to get Absolutely Dry to correct the situation. I will update this post if any remedy is reached.Update: Absolutely Dry stated they would only return to complete the work originally agreed to if I agreed to pay a significant amount of money beyond what they already billed. Buyer be ware, get every detail in writing from this company or they will cheat you.

Worked with Absolutely Dry to instruct the YMCA staff and Duneland staffthe proper way to clean a building after the COVID 19 struck. To openbuildings after the proper techniques with chemicals were learned to bring staff and children back to a safe and sanitized environment.
