Called pretty much every roofing company within 60 miles of here that did commercial flat roofs and almost no one wanted anything to do with the job. Most companies were afraid of the job because it had a deck that needed torn off to get to the roof underneath. Smith roofing was not afraid of the challenge and did a great job at a fair price. No more roof leaks!

We began looking for different quotes for home insurance. Our agent said she found us a great company and rate, switched us, but then they dropped us because of our roof. In fairness, it needed some love, but it didn't leak and we were put on the spot. We started looking for roofing companies, we must have called 25, and only a few called us back. One of the other companies came out, looked at our roof and said they didn't want to have their guys that high. One came with a ladder, realized it was too short, said he'd come back, and never came back. Another came and gave us an estimate of $33K based off ground measurements and the fact that his "guys" weren't keen on the height of our home. Then Smith came out... they sent a quote to us quickly and it was a fraction of the cost. My husband and I have never had a new roof done and had heard horror stories, however, Mr. Smith answered every question and was very down to earth. We chose to use his company and also had the gutters done as well. The job went well and though I have some gardens on the side of my yard, Mr. Smith's guys covered flowers and tried very hard to leave little footprint. The job took a day longer than expected, and I will mention that in a minute, but after the clean up, you didn't even know they had been there, other than the new roof. We've had a few hard rains since then (May 2021) and there are no leaks, plus it looks great. We had 2 situations occur that make me feel that we will always use this company in the future. The first situation had to do with the quote. There was a discrepancy between the quote and the actual labor and materials, this had to do with my home having its original slate roof, something we didn't know. This caused the time to run a bit longer, however, Mr. Smith honored his quote, when many other companies would not have. The second situation came a few days after the roof was complete, our son broke his leg playing baseball. When Mr. and Mrs. Smith found this out, they sent my son flowers. We were shocked by this kindness. Both of these situations really show the character of the company and its owners. While the job was done well, character is just as important in my book. I am so glad that we used Smith Roofing and Remodeling and we will be using them in the future! Thanks again for a job well done!Services: Gutter installation, Roof installation

After getting 4 quotes for roof replacement we decided to go with Smith Roofing, and we were really happy with them. We worked with Nico Morales and he was super responsive and friendly. They were also super fast - got us scheduled for about a week out and got it done in 4 or 5 hours, and cleaned up very thoroughly. They also provided proof of insurance up front - it was just part of the quote - whereas another roofer in town ghosted us when we requested it 🤣. After such a windy day Saturday, I came home to a large patch of shingles missing from my roof… three story home. I was referred to Smith roofing from another contractor that was too far away. Their estimate was way under my deductible, they could get to me within the week and Melissa was very courteous and helpful over the phone. We needed our roof replaced. Since we are no longer could take on the job ourselves, we were at a loss as to whom we should hire for the job. After having a bad experience getting an estimate which took over 3 hours, getting an extremely high estimate and no formal written estimate, we were hesitant to get another. After Derecho’s storm went through our area we were left with needing a new roof. I had seen several signs in the area as a lot of other people were in the same situation. I called Smith Roofing and boy am I glad I did. Sales consultant Chase came out same day I called and was there exactly when he said he would be. Chase was very professional and polite. Chase got our quote to us the next day. Smith Roofing was very reasonably priced, professional and prompt from beginning to end. We had some minor fascia damage during a recent wind storm. We tried several roofing companies but couldn’t get them to respond. We called Melisa at Smith’s and she got us a quick estimate and then placed us in the repair queue. Surprisingly the repair team arrived the following day. The repair team replaced the damaged fascia, with a perfect match, checked the side of the roof peak, to make sure it was secure, and removed all damaged material. They were very professional.
