We were really struggling to find someone to help us with our old and leaking roof. Two other contractors had ghosted us after failing to secure an insurance payout before someone recommended Wallace Construction to us. From Day 1 Mark and Denise were thorough, dedicated and engaged. It's so rare to feel like you matter to the other party. Throughout the saga with our insurance to ultimately completing the repairs, Wallace Construction was phenomenal every step of the way, even personally checking up on the job day of. Just imagine waking up, walking downstairs only to find your entire downstairs flooded up passed your ankles. Water everywhere you look, every turn, every room. Everything just ruined. What in the world are we supposed to do? Where to begin? Restoration comes through and demos everything. Whole downstairs gone. Walls, flooring, doors - you name it. Gone. We felt like we lived on an Island with no help, no where to turn. Insurance is supposed to provide us with a peace of mind, but in our case that didn’t happen. Our peace of mind in all of this was Denise and Marc Wallace.Fast forward 4 months — we are finally sitting in a house with walls! Progress and drywall! Day 1 of the remodel completed tonight! 4 long months of no kitchen sink, dishes done in the tub upstairs and a whole entire downstairs gutted. 4 long, miserable months with 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. To say it’s been a nightmare is putting it lightly. But tonight, thanks to Wallace Construction, we are going to sleep with progress on our home. Progress we felt never was going to happen. Our safe place, our home is finally being put back together.One HUGE blessing throughout these last 4 miserable months, has simply been Wallace Construction. Hands down. They fought daily battles for our Family with our Insurance claim. They never settled for less than what they knew was morally right/owed. Even when Insurance tried their luck, and boy did ours try, Wallace came through and won every time. The factual knowledge these Owners have, mind blowing.I never thought I was going to see my house ever whole again. Every week passed we were faced with a whole new set of struggles, but Wallace Construction stayed in communication with us every day. Every struggle they stood beside us and fought too. Countless of phone calls, emails and many, many hours spent fighting for our Family.I thank God everyday Wallace Construction came into our lives because there were days we wanted to give up, days I wanted to lay and cry, summer days wasted with my girls due to a demolished house and days we felt so defeated by the Insurance company we almost just gave up. But, Wallace Construction was there every single day of this process giving us hope, faith and helping shed a light in our dark time. When I say they were there daily, I mean daily. Whether it was Denise, Marc or sometimes both of them they were in some form of contact with us daily.Reviews today are so important in this world we live in and I put my whole heart into this one. Don’t second guess, go with this Company. I will forever be grateful we did!! This Company helped my family and I in ways we’ll never be able to repay. Mark and his team were great to work with. Mark took the time to explain our problem and how he would solve it. We had to have the brick façade replaced on our house. As the work progressed Mark stopped by to explain what they were doing and how the previous work had failed. The project started and finished on time with no hidden costs or extra charges. If you need home renovation work I would give the Wallace Construction group a call and let them bid on your project. One last note, they’re right here in Fishers.

About nine months ago we began an extensive outdoor living space and exterior home renovation project with Wallace Construction Group, LLC, which is now nearing completion. We were deep into the phase of considering what we wanted for our new space but not nearly to the point of picking out materials, design, products, etc. Unfortunately, the spring hail storm of 2021 in Hamilton County, IN forced us to pull the trigger sooner than expected. Because I previously owned a home improvement business for some years, I knew enough to interview multiple contractors until I found the one who I believed was made of the same integrity, commitment to open communication, and dedication to quality that made my own service to others a joy and a success. That is why we contracted with Wallace Construction.I’d like to say that our project went completely without fail, but the opposite is the case. While I personally initiated many Change Orders; we also had the misfortune of trying to carry on a large scale project during the perfect storm of the supply chain crisis; rapidly rising inflation; unending lockdowns, mandates, and other issues caused by an on-again off-again virus; and a surge of people doing home improvements with money saved up because of nowhere else to spend it. Our project experienced numerous issues due to shipping delays, material shortages, subcontractor illnesses, bad weather, and the usual gremlins and violations of Murphy Law.The purpose of this review is to point out the superb commitment to integrity that Marc Wallace and Wallace Construction Group, LLC lives by. I knew through all of the clutter that communication would be timely, honest, and forthright when coming from Wallace Construction. Whenever there was an issue with pricing, materials, a subcontractor, etc. Wallace would listen to my concern and if I was in the right, he wouldn’t stop supporting my position until I was appropriately satisfied. Wallace Construction delivers the highest level of quality product and will not take on a job that he’s not willing to stand behind.Wallace exceeded my expectations on most deliverables and worked tirelessly to correct anything and everything that needed corrected. Another thing I asked of Wallace Construction Group prior to starting our relationship was that they have good documentation, especially when it comes to Change Orders. They were very good at this and it helped a great deal when asking for clarification on details in our large project. My main recommendation for Wallace Construction Group is for them to train and delegate some of the more repetitive and tedious administrative and project management tasks. About a year and a half ago, we hired Wallace Construction Group to fix, replace and repaint some bad wood on our front porch overhang. Everything was taken care of quickly and looked great. Fast forward 18 months, and as everything settled, the column from the porch to the roof began to wobble a good bit. This, obviously, couldn’t have been accounted for at the time. It was just the natural course of things. To see if there was anything that could be done, I called Wallace this morning. Even though the work is well beyond the warranty, they were, literally, outside within the hour, getting the post all squared up and fixed in place! It was incredible. It was so refreshing to work with a company that is skilled, friendly, accessible, and stands by their work for the good of the customer. I highly recommend and will certainly call them when I need any construction work done down the road.

My house was broken into and I needed a complete door replacement done quickly so that my home would be secure and usable. Marc and his team were very good about communicating clearly what all the restoration entailed, came to my house the day after I called to start the estimating process, had the quote to me later that day, and completed the job two days later. The quality of their work was excellent, and the door is now much more secure than it was previously. I would recommend them to anyone!

The screen door that Wallace Construction installed for me lasted four months until it became unusable and potentially dangerous to open and close.Wallace Construction came to install a new back door and screen door for my house. We are very unhappy with the screen door that they installed for us, which started having problems after about four months. We did not misuse or abuse the screen door that they installed in any way. The main back door is installed and working properly which is the main reason I'm giving them two stars instead of one.Once the screen door started showing problems, I notified them that the screen door was stuck and would not open at all. Denise made it very clear that they only provide a three month warranty. Marc made a courtesy visit to make a simple adjustment (which I appreciated the gesture), however, after this simple adjustment that he made, the door became worse and it appears that the wind blew the door open which made everything worse. The hydraulic hinge is now completely busted and the door is unusable and seems dangerous. It is very unsettling and I am concerned about my family's safety because of this screen door. I expect a new screen door to last longer than the one Wallace Construction installed for me, especially without any misuse.Wallace Construction didn't offer me any additional options for them to come out again to fix the screen door even though I was willing to pay for it.The screen door they installed had an "89% approval star rating" from whichever aggregate review website so I suppose I'm apart of the 11%.I will not use Wallace Construction again or recommend them to my friends or family.YMMV

When we hired Wallace Construction Group (WCG) we hired them for their expertise and to be our advocate. But they only ended up advocating and protecting themselves. We chose Marc Wallace to complete a very large and complicated renovation of our home. We chose him initially because he seemed to be a man of his word with integrity, was knowledge in the field and could deliver a quality product at a competitive price. Marc seemed to thrive on finding his customers outstanding deals and got a thrill out of impressing his clients with these finds.However, our experience with Wallace Construction Group proved different. We put down 4% of the total project with the understanding that this amount would be used towards the architect and Wallace's fees. After our architectural plans were completed we met with WCG to sign off on the plans. At that meeting we were asked for 36% to start the project which we had no final costings or approved itemized budget. We told them we would not be putting more money down until we had a final bid sheet. We were assured this process would be completed with in 90 days. This is were communication started to fail. We were frustrated with how the communication between the parties was happening. In hopes to work through our frustration we reached out via phone and asked for a meeting to discuss our concern. We were told via email it would be 60-90 days before they had time to meet with us!! It was "the height of their busy season and they only had time to talk to their customers that were under contract". They had money from us and we considered us to be under contract. But they did not.The unprofessionalism hit a new low when Wallace called yelling at us! Several attempts were made to calm him down as well as schedule another call but we were met with a text message stating all further communication was to go through his attorney. We were and still are perplexed by this turn of events. After processing through some of our shock we made the assumption that since WCG walked away from the job we would get a portion of our money back. Unfortunately, we were again mistaken as we were told that he "completed what we hired him to do" and won't be getting any of our money back. WCG did take 79 days to compile an incomplete bid; pulling out of the job just a few days shy of his 90 day promise. But we had hired him to remodel our home and this process was far from done.Claiming to be a Christian his actions certainly aren't aligned with his word or beliefs. I would never recommend doing business with this company. We hope to save others from the same heartache, frustration and finacial loss we have experienced.
