33 Carpenters came out of the blue to help us!  And THANK GOODNESS!  We had roof damage from a pretty rough storm that blew through Ft. Wayne in July. I had called our insurance company, a few times. An assessor came eventually to inspect and submit a report. The very next day Mike McCray was driving by, spotted our damage, stopped and told me he could also submit a report of the damage, deal with our insurance company start to finish and he was certain he would get the whole roof approved.   He knew the who's & what's of the process to get our insurance to work for US!   It sounded too good to be true!  Yes, we were skeptical.I requested phone numbers of previous customers in our immediate area so that I could call for references and see their work. "Sure!"  All were very pleased with Mike's work and also with the roofing work itself, even a couple years later. True to his pitch to me, he did for them what he told them he would. Very nice to hear!Our first appraisal only paid $1,300, which was quite disappointing.  Fixing just spots on our 23 year old roof would have been awful looking!  However, when Mike worked directly with our insurance company, the entire roof was approved for replacement!  He knew what he was doing to enable our insurance to work FOR US!We had several colors to choose from. The insurance sent the first payment installment for them to get started.  Their crew was organized, worked cohesively together, stripped the old roof off, tarps were placed around the house to catch debris which was then placed in a large dumper, and all was taken away when they left at the end of day.  Their cleanup was complete and very impressive!  Nothing was missed.  (We had a roofing job done years ago and I picked up nails for weeks!)33 Carpenters is a great company! Mike McRae was excellent to work with.  He was consistent and patient to explain the somewhat intimidating process of dealing with our insurance. He was promptly available for all phone calls and questions.   He did for us what he said he would do!  I've had people tell me they will do a certain job and halfway through tell me they never agreed to what we thought was to be done. There haven't been little surprises or unexpected expenses we weren't told about.  Mike has integrity!  That means a great deal to us!I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND 33 Carpenters to everyone!  And I hope you get Mike McRae to work with you!  He is the greatest!33 Carpenters did such a great job on our rental, we called them back to re-roof our own home. June 25, 2023 a storm rolled through, we were in the basement and could hear the hail hitting our roof! I called Mike McRae the next day. He again worked with our insurance to get our roof, gutters and garage door replaced. He did all the reports and pictures the insurance required. The roofing crew did a great job with the tear off, new shingles and clean up after. The crew was pleasant, Mike was thorough and always called right back if we had questions. Top marks all around! My contractors that were already in our home working on some major projects, got thrown into a less than ideal situation and we were all blown away with their work quality, speed, and ability to make things happen in such a fast amount of time. In June I asked 3 companies to come to my home to make a roof inspection as I had some concerns with my roof that was reaching around 20 years.The first 2 companies that came inspected the roof and just said I should change it and that nothing was damaged and so on.When 33 Carpenters came I thought that everything would be same but for my surprise they were able to give me so many details of the issues I had in my roof that it impressed me.Sam was very gentle and show me so many damages that I had in my roof explaining why it happened and the reason I should be looking for an update.He also were able to see the my roof was already discontinued something that the previous company didn’t even notice.I decided to go with them and I can assure that worth every single penny.Sam waste one in charge, he kept me updated of each step and was very attentive with all the questions and doubts we had along the process.These guys Rock.We were very happy with the final result we got with 33 Carpenters.Services: Roof inspection, Roof installation, Gutter cleaning

After receiving the BEST all-around service ever, I feel compelled to give the accolades that Mike McRae (Sr. Project Manager/Team Lead at 33 Carpenters Construction) & his crew are so deserving to receive. We had encountered roof damage from a severe storm & needed to obtain an estimate for repairs. We made our initial contact with a roofing company a friend had recommended & were more than disappointed with the interaction we had with that contractor's representative. He acted as though he was completely disinterested in anything we had to tell him & gave us minimal info after he quickly looked at our roof. If he was at our home 15 mins. total, that would be pushing it! Needless to say, we wanted nothing further to do with that company.After that debacle, I received another referral from a neighbor and reached out to Mike & asked if he could possibly come and give us an estimate for the repairs we were in need of. Without hesitation, he said he would be over within the next 1-2 hrs. to look into our situation. Once he arrived (55 mins. after I spoke to him), he gave us his complete attention, listened to everything we wanted to tell him, and took complete control of the situation. He was as kind, considerate, informative, knowledgeable, & most of all HONEST about everything concerning our roof. After he went up on the roof to evaluate the damage, he sat down with us & went into detail about what would need to be done to repair it. He answered every question we asked & advised us the damage would most likely qualify for coverage under our homeowner's insurance. He helped us contact our insurance agent & handled everything with him so an adjuster could come out to verify the validity of our claim. He told us he would stay in close contact with us and help in any way he could if the insurance company had any questions. From that day forward, Mike was in constant contact with us & our insurance agent making sure everything needed was being provided to both of us. He even took the time to come & meet with our insurance adjuster and they both concurred that the damage was too widespread so "repairs" weren't an option - we needed an entire new roof.Once the shingles we selected came in, Mike immediately set a date with us for his crew to come. On the day his crew arrived, they NEVER stopped working except for a quick 15 min. lunch break. They were AMAZING - perfection to the max! When they were done with the roof, they cleaned everything up too - even put the furniture back on the patio & rehung our bird feeders. We couldn't thank them enough - they worked so hard & our new roof looked great because of their excellent workmanship!In summary, we give Mike McRae & his crew 5 stars ***** for being the BEST of the BEST! My insurance company assessed my house for a hail claim and informed me that there was no damage. 33 Carpenters was able to give me a second opinion and happened to find extensive hail damage. Fortunately, they were able to work with my insurance company by getting this matter resolved. I would specifically recommend Nicholas Runyon. Just had my roof replaced after a hail storm. My project manager, Nick Runyon, was awesome every step of the process. He inspected roof, took photos, assisted me with the insurance claim process, answered my all questions about the shingles and whole process. The hardest part for me was color choice on the shingles. I loved several. The crew did great...about 8 hours work, cleaned up afterwards, Nick even checked area over for nails after they finished. 33 Carpenters, Nick Runyon, Warranties, Product, Scheduling, Roofing Crew-Fantastic! After verifying hail damage, Nick called my insurance and later met with them to file claim. Constant contact with Nick and E-Mails from company. Needed to be home with the dog, scheduling was great. Crew arrived at 8 A.M. and immediately started to throw tarps over everything, even made sure that I had my car out of the garage before the dumpster blocked my driveway and took pictures of the location of my Satellite dish (to ensure proper relocation). By 2 P.M., you couldn’t even tell they had been there, except for the new roof! Nick was there the next day (Sat morning) to make sure everything was done both to my and his satisfaction (even got on roof to check Satellite dish). A few days later, someone from the corporate office stopped to make sure that I was happy with everything, and, went on roof to check work. Everything, Everyone was great! Definitely recommending them to Everyone!

I honestly can say 33 Carpenters Construction has been absolutely amazing. Our roof which is a little over 1,200 Sq feet was finished in about 7.5 hours give or take. Our contractor, Nick, has gone above and beyond helping our family. Even after our roof was finished he has been there for any questions or concerns and always touching base with us! Representatives of 33 Carpenters were the first to contact us about our roof's hail damage. We chose them, from among the others because our neighbor, who also went with 33 Carpenters and knew something about roof replacement, told us that their work would be done well. The representative was at our home when the insurance adjuster came to assess the damage. From the very beginning, they did what they said they'd do. When they said the work would begin on a certain day, it did. There were no surprises, our driveway was not turned into a staging area for days before the work began, the crew was polite and efficient and did the job within the timeline they promised. They cleaned everything up when the job was completed. They stayed with us through the gutter and downspout work. The representative who met with us at the beginning was with us throughout the project keeping us informed as to when the work would start and checked in with us at least 3 times the day the roofers were on the job. I'd recommend them highly and if I ever need to have roof work done in the future, they will be first ones called.
