Edgar, the project manager was great to work with, he was able to come out on a holiday weekend to give us a quote. Financing was quick and easy to get approved. We were on the schedule for a week out, but another customer had to reschedule, so we took their place. So from getting the quote to having the job finished in 2 days. The team was quick and efficient. They showed up at 7am and had the job done by 4:30pm. Even with part of the house having a flat roof. They made sure to have everything tarped so nothing got in the grass. I was at work during the job and Edgar sent me videos of the progress throughout the day. Our roof was in worse shape then we thought and needed 18 more osb boards then we were charged, but the price was locked in with what we had already agreeded on. They didnt charge for the extra materials they needed. When they left you couldn't even tell they were there other then the new roof and dumpster full. Over all they did a great job!

They were not the least expensive quote but you get what you pay for. The work they did was excellent and looked fantastic after they got done.The roofing crew that came out was professional. The cleanup afterwards was perfect.The gutter crew had an issue during the install. They communicated with me that is was going to take longer than they originally expected, gave me a new timeline and completed in that timeline.I cannot say enough good about the work that was done.Also, the quote was the quote. From my initial call with Greg, the owner, to my inspection with Tyler, to the team that installed the roof, everything was amazing. Greg graciously took my call and told me about the company, Tyler spent time going through and explaining everything during the inspection, and the roofing team brought such energy, and knocked out the roof. I had like 20+ people show up and they completed it in half a day. These guys are pros. They were good people too, taking time to talk to me, check in, and make sure I was satisfied. This company is AWESOME! I had a entirely new roof installed yesterday. Edgar was with me from beginning to end making sure my home was taken care of. We did have a slight communication issue during my journey, but there was definitely an apology and the issue was satisfactorily fixed.Ultimately, I now have a BEAUTIFUL and COMPLETELY new (down to the bones new) roof on my house and new gutters. The entire project was completed in one day! The crew was very friendly and definitely not a problem to deal with being at my home. Coming into spring and the start of rainy season no home owner wants to wake up to a leak. We reached out to Honest Abe Roofing got ahold of Ryan who was out to check the problem and give an estimate the next day, Friday. We were told they'd get with us sometime in March. We had to have temperatures and weather work with us. Ryan called us Monday and asked if we would be okay with Wednesday or Thursday of that week. He came out Tuesday with shingle samples we picked what we wanted and had the appointment made for the next day. Wednesday morning arrived with the roofing crew showing up promptly. They got straight to work laying down tarps and covering our shrubs. Then were up on the roof and tearing it off. They have a machine known as the Lincoln Lifter that makes cleanup easier. The crew had the roof completed in four hours, including cleanup. The yard was picked up, equipment put back, magnet taken to yard and stones, and roof, sidewalk, and drive blown. During the entire time they were working on the roof the crew was very friendly and respectful. Edgar the project Manager was on site and involved with the over seeing as well as up on the roof. He checked in with us and made sure we were happy. Chris and Tony the job site foremans, made sure that if we had any questions or concerns we received answers. Chris checked in with us several times and made sure that we were satisfied with the work he and his men did. If we noticed anything they got it squared away, even just loose paper stuck under a shingle. This entire project went smoother than we could have ever asked for. As a homeowner, you worry about placing your biggest investment into the right hands. With Honest Abe Roofing that's just what we did! Very appreciative to the timely service and the quality we received, would highly recommend Honest Abe Roofing!

I was very impressed by this company., starting with the person who answered the phone. You could tell she had proper customer service training. She got me with Edgar, a crew leader, quickly. He contacted me within an hour asking to call me to set up an appointment. It was within a day or two and he showed up on time.Edgar is a good guy. You could tell he likes to do things right. I decided that reroofing was better than a repair. The main reason was that a friend of mine had a ‘repair’ done by a landlord at his home rental, done by another company, and a few months later part of the ceiling fell in on his son while he was sleeping. Anyway, Edgar gave me a quote and his crew was on the job within a few days.Again, I was impressed. The morning of the job Edgar texted they would be there in about an hour and a half. Shortly after, a flatbed truck appeared with a small lift attached. The lift unloaded a pallet with all the materials needed for the job and set them down in my driveway. You could tell these guys were a pro outfit.Later a crew of about 5 or 6 showed up. I did not count. The few I interacted with were pretty nice guys and polite. They got to work quickly. Somewhere along the process, a dumpster appeared. I did not see that arrive. The crew cleaned everything up as they went. They got the job done in one day. We contacted Honest Abe Roofing and two other companies to replace our 25 year old roof on our home and were extremely impressed from the beginning with Taylor from Honest Abe. Taylor showed up a few minutes early to our initial appointment and did a great job explaining us the options we had without being pushy or trying to take advantage of us. I felt the price we received was fair, and couldn’t have been more impressed by the communication throughout the entire process and roof installation. Even the company they used to bring the dumpster contacted us twice just to make sure it was OK that they dropped it off a day early. Honest Abe got us scheduled very quickly once we paid our initial deposit, and the army of installers they sent were on our roof promptly at 7:00am exactly when they said they would be and were out by later in the afternoon without leaving a trace they had ever been there except leaving us with a wonderful new roof. He was very professional, thorough, and took the time to personally sit down with us on several occasions to explain the process and steps of exactly what we were getting into. He was always available via text or call for any questions we had. This was the only company that we received a quote from who went into the attic and up on the roof for a better understanding of what we/they were dealing with. They finished the job in a days worth of time and cleaned up after themselves like discussed. Edgar even stayed after and replaced a rotted wood panel on a window at the end of the job (which he didn’t have to do). From the moment we met Edgar we were impressed with his integrity; his knowledge and his perseverance. It took us awhile to make a decision (we had never had a roof done )and he was consistent in contacting us but never pushy. He answered every question we had. He took his time with us going over every detail. Once his crew started the work we knew we made the best decision. When they showed up to work they worked their tails off. Some days were 7am-7pm. They were cheerful and seemed genuinely happy to be working with us and with each other. After a tree limb crashed through my roof, and months of frustration dealing with my insurance company to cover the damage, I called Honest Abe for a quote. Edgar came out the day after I called, did an inspection of the damages, and wrote up a quote. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and answered all my questions. Since the insurance company would not cover the replacement of the entire roof, I needed to finance the project; Edgar had a solution for that as well. They had a few options for financing to choose from that would fit my budget. The financing approval was immediate so that was one less thing I had to stress about. Two days after the quote Edgar and his team arrived to get the job done. These guys are awesome! After inspecting my roof, Edgar explained that they would have to replace about half of the sheeting and they would ensure that, if needed, they would reinforce/ replace any damaged joists. We knew that there was quite a bit of bad sheeting that would have to be replaced and we accepted the bid.Turns out that a lot more sheeting was needed, as well as many of the joists on our front porch. When I asked how much more it was going to cost, Edgar said that it wouldn't cost any more. The quote that they gave was there quote that we would pay, regardless of the additional cost to them for materials.We got the roof we needed at the price they quoted and, to me, that type of honesty is hard to find anymore.They stand behind their word and that is more than anyone could ask for! I called 5 roofing companies, the only company that showed up was Honest Abe. My roof was NOT easy, 65 squares and a 10 pitch. From the moment I telephoned until my wife dropped of the final payment, this company has exceeded expectations. I was terrified of this project and this company was amazing. When I saw the guy who appeared to be in charge , I asked him if they'd move the truck in case the trash collectors come. He was very apologetic and accomodating!
