Called Paul Davis of Northeast Indiana when our sump pump failed and we had water in our finished basement. They were able to respond in approximately four hours and had equipment at our home. I believe the man’s name was Joel. Within three hours he and an additional gentleman had vacuumed the water up placed two dehumidifiers and four fans in our basement. Joel stated he would return on Friday the next day to check everything. When he returned on Friday he checked everything and suggested they leave the equipment through the weekend. I decided that was not necessary and had him remove their equipment. I am extremely pleased with their professionalism, knowledge and response time. I would recommend their services. The pictures are 5 days after the incident.

I give one star for Joe and one for Trevor. They worked hard and communicated well with me. Otherwise Communication was lacking and the process exhausting. Randy did the estimate July 12. After getting the bulk of the insurance money in August, signing papers and making a deposit by the 25th, it would be the end of November (Thanksgiving weekend) before work began. The process was drug out for months.Advice, have cameras with audio. It’s how I know a sub contractor ventured into parts of my home he shouldn’t have, used my microwave and left my bathroom in disarray. It’s how I know that same person attempted to enter my backyard. Why? Will never know. Because of cameras I can back up my statements that they damaged my front yard. Have never shown an interest in cleaning it up. By the way, never pay for their cleanup Inside or out. It’s not worth it.Never pay a one page bill. Ask for itemized and make sure you aren’t paying for anything you didn’t get.Have an in person final inspection. I regret that I was so frustrated and worn down I didn’t insist on this. The final inspection was completed with pictures to the inspector.I’m left with a window that is difficult to open and close and most recently I discovered the closet door doesn’t shut properly. It’s on me because I let them wear me down after so many months and at the end I didn’t want them in my home anymore. With the wayward subcontractor it left me feeling less safe. Why would I have them back? Now I’ll have to pay for someone else to fix their poor work.I have over 100 videos with audio, photos and emails that support my experience. I’m sure there are people who have had a better experience. Despite credible people recommending Paul Davis this was my experience.Jon the manager contacted me after he heard I had concerns. When I shared my specific concerns via email I never heard from him again. It sums up my experience. They wanted their money. Aside from Joe and Trevor and a few very brief experiences with women in the office, no one showed an interest in customer service.What a costly experience for me.

We had such a great experience with Joel Osborn and his helper. He was super nice, very professional, very knowledgeable and very prompt! My parents had water damage in their bathroom, walk in closet & kitchen and he answered all of our many questions and took time explaining everything thoroughly! He took care of all our mitigation needs! We felt in good hands with him! Hundred percent would highly recommend him to anyone!

Between the various different crews, Paul Davis was in constant contact with us and kept us very well informed of what was happening and what would come next. The finish work was fantastic and the project manager was extraordinarily helpful and informative over what was being done. He was super friendly, answered all our questions, walked us through the process, set everything up and came back daily over the weekend to take moisture readings and adjust everything where needed! I have to give a shout-out to Paul Davis Water Mitigation. They did a great job drying out our bathroom. This house is about 130 years old and full of surprises. From weird crawl spaces to icky pipes it keeps us entertained. Joel O., thank you for your hard work and your patience as you explained everything to us along the way!

Initially there was great responsiveness, communication, and work done effectively and efficiently. I was very grateful and appreciative of their knowledge and guidance through the process of dealing with fire aftermath. Really could not have been more pleased. Since then, the communication has been poor. Phone calls have not been returned, and several weeks have passed since I requested a cost breakdown of work completed and my request for an estimate to complete the restoration. Overall, I will recommend PD.

Unfortunately, I myself have had to call Paul Davis twice for fire, and then I recommended them when my daughter had an electrical fire too. I have toured their facility twice, learned about the systems they have in place for all aspects of fire damage, and Ive met everyone there. They are completely ready to help you when you are overwhelmed by fire, and your life is turned upside down. They even work with insurance companies to get as much covered, as possible. If you have very specific questions, you get to speak directly with the person in charge of that area. They have three guys available to you if needed, but you have your specific guy that oversees your entire job, and you have his cell number to contact anytime. These people choose to deal with very stressed out, and upset people every day, and they do a good job. This last job for me was small, but they got slammed by massive storms causing a lot of extra jobs, and after Covid, supplies were backed up sometimes 3 months. They were diligent in keeping me informed, even if it was with a delay. Other contractors in town were struggling much worse. I was glad I had the biggest, most widely known co when they were ordering 2 garage doors. They were able to shorten the wait considerably. I could go on, but call them. I used Paul Davis for mitigation and remodel after a major water burst at me home. The process took awhile due to insurance, but PD moved fast when they were able to. Mitigation took just a few days. Steve Penfold was my representative for the remodel and we communicated with me along each step and was very patient with my dumb questions. Highly recommend Steve!

Joel and Tanner took the time to answer all of my questions and they did an outstanding job with everything. But unfortunately after noticing some things being billed that either wasn't done or done by me but being billed to my insurance. After questioning the invoice and two days later Derrick Schafer, (Project mgr.) called and informed me that his supervisor said it would be best if we parted ways. Now mind you my house was completely destroyed. Half of my kitchen and dining room floors were tore up. You are literally living out of a hotel for several months I would not recommend them to build a dog house.

We used Paul Davis for the restoration of our house after our house fire. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and caring from the start. We unfortunately lost our dogs in the fire and everyone at Paul Davis were sympathetic and offered condolences when they were at our house. It was nice to know they cared about what we were going through and we didn't feel like just a business transaction. Communications with John B and Steve P were always pleasant and informative. They were extremely professional, and made sure to communicate with us every step of the way. They made sure the job was done to the highest standard and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Joel was well-trained and knowledgeable about water damage and the way water travels through areas of least resistance. He was thorough in checking for moisture each day and wise in making decisions about the next right step. He was polite and answered all my questions. His helper Jace was also polite and respectful and wore booties each time he entered the house. Typically we like to do things on our own to save money. We are so glad we didn’t tackle this by ourselves. The equipment Paul Davis has to detect moisture is state of the art. And they have tools I’ve never seen to help dry walls and floors.
