If I could, I would give a 0 star. My husband and I had a house fire in August of 2023. We went with a different restoration company but weren't happy with their performance. That's when I found Restoration1, Jeff Premer in Fort Wayne, Indiana. When my husband and I met with him at our house, he was so confident in getting our house back together. Our house had more water damage than anything. Jeff told us we would be back in our house in 3-4 months. Clearly, that didn't happen. His incompetent team wasted the whole month of November, later found out they got pulled over on their way back from the job for drugs. Jeff's team destroyed some of our property, never cleaned up after their shift and left their trash and drinks everywhere. Jeff never really communicated with us and always had some excuse as to why no one would be at the house working. If I were you, I would find a local contractor to where you can save money because his overheard and profit is outrageous. I called Jeff to voice some concerns and also informed him that we felt essentially we were getting raked over the coals in labor charges. Jeff got his feelings hurt and breeched out of the contract and decided to invoice us out and pull out of the job leaving my husband and I with a gutted house and siding. Jeff found it acceptable to take $79,000 and leave us with a project that is 50% done.

Restoration 1 came out in a quick timely manner when a pipe broke in my home and water was in a room and garage (that was full of stuff). They were able to help us save our walls, carpet, and all the stuff in the garage! I highly recommend giving them a call when you have an emergency.

Highly recommend looking somewhere else. Promised to fix out house from wind damage. The roof was worked out and all that remains is the siding and gutters. We talked to one person about this who then stopped responding. Then someone else finally got in contact with us saying he fired them. He keeps pushing things out and will not commit to a date for the damage. Finally just going to look somewhere else. The person I spoke to was very rude on the phone and didn't want to help at all.
