A labor of love for 25 years, no one was going to touch our roof unless all the hoops were jumped! Paul Gieger of Sherriff Goslin roofing in Fort Wayne and all over Florida when they are needed are the most careful, considerate and most importantly, smart roofing contractor that I have ever met. My business is real estate rentals but my home is special. An 1898 Queen Anne Victorian that previous owners had muddled was in need of a new roof. I wanted copper, spirit strips, vents, shake siding....all the jewelry. Paul was the only one who even understood. He took a personal interest. Took months researching the accessories to put with his proprietary asphalt shingle and he made magic. No one else in Illinois would touch the incline, no one else would research the original details. He drove his whole crew out, stayed in a local hotel and worked with his guys personally for 8 days. You’re really doing yourself an injustice by not contacting this company for an estimate. My house was hit by the derecho back in June and it blew off quite a bit of siding. I filed an insurance claim and discovered I was slightly under insured on the restoration portion of my policy. I had numerous companies come out and give me price gouging quotes. Meg was able to come out and take a look at everything while I was at work and got started on my quote. The price I was quoted was fair, which is what I was looking for. Meg even went above and beyond and dealt with my insurance adjuster for me. Once the materials came in the crew got started on my house. They arrived every day at 8:30 and they worked until dark (5:30). They were extremely nice, cleaned up after themselves every day, and kept me in the loop with what they were doing. My house looks great and I’m happy. If you’re looking for a company, that’s fair and honest, give Meg at Sherriff Goslin a call

Great company, Meg came out to give an estimate. She explained everything in great detail. They tore off the old roof and installed new shingles. They had everything all done and cleanedup in 6 hours. They came back a few days later to inspect and repair a section of gutter. Sherriff Goslin’s Paul Geiger was hugely helpful! A roof in pretty bad shape had me getting a bunch of proposals. They were hard to compare and each one seemed to have something left out, different warranties, shingles, prices, etc. How to make the best choice? I remembered Sherriff Goslin’s unusual shingles from living in Michigan. Now the company is far away but I reached out to them anyway. Paul Geiger took my call and patiently gave me lots of information and advice, helping me resolve riddles and gain the confidence to decide among the proposals. Just bought a house about 2 weeks ago, and that storm that came through did some minor damage to our house. My husband called this company. They came out and gave us an awesome deal which really helped us out. Also, my husband was thinking that we would have to replace the roof within the next year but the guy said that we have about another 5 years with the current roof. Hello, I contacted Sherriff Goslin for a roof inspection, having had several problems with another company. Meg responded quickly and came out the next day to do a free inspection of my new roof. Very easy to work with. Ryan, my point of contact for the project, was knowledgeable and professional. Roof was done in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price. They cleaned up after the job was done.I had an 1 issue worth mentioning:On the day the dumpster and roofing supplies were delivered, there were large tire tracks in my lawn and my mailbox post was broken.I first called the company that provided the dumpster. They sent out someone to investigate the damage. The investigator said that it was pretty clear that whoever made the tire tracks likely destroyed the mailbox post, but that the tracks were too large to be made by one of their trucks. He suggested it was likely the roofer's "Boom Truck"I called contacted Sherriff-Goslin Roofing and informed Ryan of the situation. He contracted the boom truck driver (presumably a contractor from what I understand). I was informed that the boom truck driver said that the damage was already there when they arrived.While there wasn't a video or other clear evidence to definitively say who caused the property damage, Sherriff-Goslin Roofing offered fix it, so they're still 5 stars in my book. I would do business with them again.
