Honest companies like this are rare! I cannot say enough positive things about this company. They communicate, deal with your insurance, provide insight, and ensure quality work is completed. The owner was very involved in the process along with his sales associate. They fought with my insurance company on their original quote and ensured my roof was brought up to code (even when insurance did not want to pay it). You will immediately notice their attention to detail as they discussed multiple options for us before starting the job. As you can see, our roof is very choppy and is not easy to tackle. They somehow completed this roof in one day. No leaks and we have had a ton of rain since the job was completed. As other reviews stated, their quoted price stayed the same. They took over 100 pictures during the install that I can use for personal use or for insurance purposes. I got a full report on my roof line as well. I truly cannot recommend these guys enough. Honest, hardworking, genuine people - no sales pitches, no pressure - they ensure the job is handled to perfection. This is my exterior company from here on out! We just replaced our roof through DC Roofing & Exteriors. Based on my experience, here's what you can expect.First, strong communication. Don (the owner) - and any vendors he recommended - were above and beyond in answering questions or calls quickly, even outside of business hours. When we met to choose our roof options, Don brought parts, using them to walk us through how each option would affect the roof's lifespan. Before the install, they provided clear expectations of both the timeline and the experience. During the install, they uploaded 148 pictures as the job progressed, including photos of landscaping protections, construction materials, and the roof itself.Second, professionalism. Supervisor arrived early and prepped jobsite. Everyone - onsite and offsite - was friendly, polite, and accommodating. The team stripped an old roof, fixed underlying damage, re-nailed everything, and placed the new roofing down in one day. This is a well-organized contractor. The new roof looks great, and our yard and patio items are back exactly where they started.Finally, honesty. Prices and recommendations were in-line with other quotes. When choosing warranty level work, they did not upsell me - simply explained options and let me choose. When hidden damage was found (we had a piece of damaged decking), they provided a photo and received permission before replacing. During install, they realized they had sold me something I didn't need (roof vents for bathrooms, which were already vented out the siding). We had a very positive experience with DC roofing and exteriors. After a lot of trouble (over 2 years) of finding a reliable roofing contractor to replace our copper roofing damaged by hail, DC roofing was recommended to us. Don, the owner, himself came to start the estimate and gave us his number. He is probably the most responsive contractor I have ever had work with us. Communication was very easy (even on the weekend when we were running into issues). He helped with communicating with our insurance. We ran into some trouble from unexpected damage and his team took care of it all as best as they could. Smiley, in particular, was exceptional as far as how hard he worked and his attention to detail in making sure everything was done properly. I was very impressed by how Don and his wife were on the job from start to finish. They took constant pictures of the progress being made on the roof that we could not see. The crew was very efficient and professional. They did an awesome job of cleaning up while being extra careful to not create damage to the yard. Don helped in the process and came back a fews days later with his wife to sweep our yard for nails. I enjoyed working with Don and appreciated his professionalism. I am so happy with my new roof! Everything was done in a timely manner, everyone was polite, and they worked amazingly with my insurance provider. The day of the project, I was given live updates and sent pictures of the work as it progressed which I really enjoyed. They were able to work around my busy schedule and that meant a lot as well. DC Roofing replaced the roof on my elderly parents home in Center Grove. They worked with the insurance company to cover the total cost to make sure they didn't have to pay out of pocket. We decided to have the siding on our house removed and new installed. We had many estimates for this project with many reviews and we went with DC Exteriors. This was a large job removing the old and installing 35 square of siding, they replaced the hidden boards that were bad we couldn't see until the old siding was removed. The crew was very professional and respectful to us and our property. I was very impressedwith when the project was finished the price they quoted didn't change, even though they had unexpected challenges to finish this they held true to the price.I highly recommend this company and I will use them again for any future exterior work we need done.Service: Remodeling

DC Roofing and Exteriors has been wonderful to work with! They have taken very good care of us with our roof replacement from start to finish. Not only were they very fast to respond to our initial contact with a temporary repair, but then they worked with the insurance company who initially wasn't going to cover our roof to get it fully covered (minus our deductible of course). They were very professional through the whole process and were great at answering our questions. The day of the replacement, it was really great to get photo updates of the progress during the day. The new roof is awesome. I would recommend them to anyone who needs any exterior work done!

DC Roofing and Exteriors was professional from start to finish with my total roof replacement/installation. Don and his team were timely and responsive to my needs and related questions. I elected to upgrade my shingles and Don made sure his team and the installation crew knew how to do the work correctly and per the manufacturer's specs. During the installation, it was common to see Don on my roof watching and monitoring every step of the total process - start to finish. My husband and I get nervous if we need to hire someone to do work on our home; typically we do our own home repairs because we've found that many businesses don't have the customer's best interests in mind. DC Roofing and Exteriors changed our preconceptions and we've finally found a contractor we can trust. This company is amazing to work with. Although our insurance company was difficult to work with, DC didn't give up and helped us get every penny we were owed to replace our roof. I recently had DC Roofing and Exteriors replace my roof, gutters, metal trim and window and door screens due to hail damage.Don and Danny were very professional and courteous. The crews did excellent work and paid close attention to detail. My wife and I were so impressed with the quality of work that we had them replace our front porch and shutters which did not have hail damage, but were in need of repair. They gave us a fair price, and once again their crews did a quality job. These guys are fantastic! Had them come out for an estimate on what I thought was only going to be repairs and quickly learned that I needed my whole roof replaced. I worked mainly with Danny and he was great with explaining everything about my roof and what needed to be done. He came out and met the insurance adjuster and the insurance company covered the entire cost minus the deductible. They did all the communicating with my insurance company which left things simple for me! I work night shift and they were great about working around my schedule to make sure not to be there on a day that I needed to sleep. They replaced the entire roof in one day while I was out of town. They did a phenomenal job with clean up and it looked as if they were never even at my house. Even being out of town Don made sure I got photos of the roof being done and the finished product. These guys are great and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

We had a phenomenal experience with DC Roofing and Exteriors. We originally called into office and talked to Tina (what a sweet woman) about getting a tarp installed on our roof. She told us it would be within 24 hours that a salesman would contact us.I think Danny the DC sales rep called us within 2 minutes of getting off the phone with Tina. From there the experience just showed how much these guys know.Danny inspected our roof and took a lot of photos of hail and wind damage. When he was done with the inspection he informed us that we most definitely had a claim with our insurance. He let us know all the possibilities of what may happen through the process. At first we didn’t think it was going to be good. We had the insurance adjuster come to the house and he approved 8 shingles an some Mickey Mouse repairs for like $400 and told us it probably wasn’t worth filing the claim because it was less than our deductible. That is when Danny told us not to worry he would get it covered through spartan.Long story short three months later our insurance paid for new roof, new gutters, and all new siding on our house with our claim totaling just over $37,000.We were absolutely amazed and so very great full we chose DC. We highly recommend them and can not say enough great things

Don and DC Roofing are great. I didn't have to do a thing. Don even dealt with the insurance people when I started having problems with getting things covered. When it was all said and done Don got me a new roof, siding, gutters, and windows for well under what I expected to pay. All of his employees are great as well. These guys are incredibly easy to work with, provide a super high quality deliverable and this was the best roofing experience we’ve ever had, and we’ve done 3 roofs now as home owners. Donny walked us through every detail of the estimate, in person. Cassie was super helpful arranging the initial visit and project dates. The communication is seriously amazing, you get photos in real time as they do the work and they are in constant contact throughout the entire project. The 2 foreman were total professionals on site and checked every detail. We couldn’t be happier with the roof and they are doing our gutters next week! If you need a roof repair or a new roof, call them! It’s a no brainer. :)

Everyone with DC Roofing and Exteriors was amazing. We had a windstorm in our new house, and they warned us that our insurance company was among the hardest to work with. They were right, but they really persisted and in the end, the insurance company paid for our entire roof! They knew everything there was to know about the process and walked us threw each step. The crew was so friendly. They helped me carry some stuff into the house and even remembered to ask about our child who had gotten hurt at recess. Just very caring people all the way around.
