I would recommend Porter roofing without any hesitation. We were selling our home and needed it replaced rather quickly. They were able to get it dine before we listed our house . When I first talked to Porter about a roof replacement for our rental property, they gave me excellent advice on the best insurance carrier and policy. I was able to switch policies and a couple years later, we had a storm that damaged the roof. Because we had the right policy in place, we got everything covered we needed done without any hassle. They have replaced a bunch of roofs in our neighborhood and every project is done really quickly with white glove clean up perfection. I know when the time comes for our home roof replacement, it'll be an easy call to Porter to schedule the job and the rest will be taken care of. Taylor came to my door one evening and ask if he could look at our roof for any possible hail damage. One of the best visitors I've ever had! Between him and the adjuster who showed up the next day,the ball was rolling.Taylor told me when to expect the workers. At 7:00 a.m. the morning the work started there were 12 workers, which included two females, and they looked like they were attacking my house! I worked in the construction industry for 47 years and I've seen a lot of roofers at work from time to time but I've never seen a crew that were more organized and a skilled as these people were. Taylor said they were good at what they did but I had no idea it would go as well as it did. Your company is a top-notch outfit as far as I'm concerned and Taylor is a very nice man and he knows his line of work very well!The gutter man and his wife showed up two days later and it was more of the same. A very professional job was done by all. From start to finish they guys did an amazing job. Grant knocked on my door and had a very helpful and pleasant conversation with me not pushy at alI knew these guys would do a great job. Chase then promptly followed up and we’re able to get the job scheduled in a timeline that fit in with some of the other projects I had going on. Due to weather issues we had to delay my project by a day but I was informed promptly and they were able to get out the next two days and knock it out. I would strongly advise against utilizing the services of Porter Roofing for any purpose. My personal experience with the company was highly unsatisfactory. During the installation of a new roof in my residence, the workers from Porter Roofing caused significant damage to both my AC lines and AC unit. However, when confronted with the issue, they adamantly refused to take responsibility for the damages and denied any obligation to compensate me for the repairs.What aggravated the situation even further was the prolonged period of uncertainty that followed. I was left waiting for five days as Porter Roofing deliberated whether or not they would assume financial responsibility for the damages caused by their workers. This prolonged delay demonstrated a lack of professionalism and a disregard for customer satisfaction.Given these circumstances, I strongly caution against engaging the services of Porter Roofing. Their negligence in damaging my AC system, coupled with their subsequent denial of liability and extended delay in resolving the matter, indicate a company that lacks integrity and fails to prioritize customer well-being.Service: Roof installation

I don't typically enjoy door to door encounters, however this one came with a new roof. Jack, from Porter, was going around door to door in my area, with date information about a specific storm that brought hail to the area. He asked us if we would want him to take a look at our roof to see if there was any hail damage that we might use as a reason to have the insurance company fund a new roof. He discovered that our roof was badly damaged from hail and with pure enthusiasm, he told me he was sure he could get us a new roof. Within minutes he was leading a call with my insurance adjuster with all of the information he needed. Meanwhile, he coached me through my minimal talking points to make this as easy as possible for me. In the end, I was impressed with Jack and the Porter team from my first impression down to the final inspection after our installation. Our roof, gutters, and house look amazing!On a personal note, my son died from cancer between the time that we answered the knock on our door and the day that the roof was installed. Jack was one of the most empathetic individuals my wife and I have honestly ever met. Jack and the Porter team showed us so much patience and care allowing us to move the install date a couple of different times. I appreciated the service from Porter from the initial communication with Jamie. We had previous companies check our roof but Jamie made me feel confident he would be on our side if our insurance would initially not want to cover the roof repair. Porter/Jamie came and took a ton of pictures and was there also when our insurance representative was on site to take pictures and assess. Throughout this process Jamie was very responsive and helped with all of our questions. Once our roof was approved Jamie was helpful with the payment questions and also with the scheduling of the new roof. On the day of the new roof the crew was very respectful with our landscape and decorations. They were moved so as not to have any damage. I also saw Jamie come to the house of the day of the new roof install to verify everything was going well. The roof looks amazing and the roof install crew did a fantastic job of cleaning up after the messy roof. I cannot say anything but positive things about this whole process with Porter Roofing. Third, the insurance company gave about a one-month deadline for the new roof to be completed, and Porter made it happen. When I reached out to Porter roofing for an estimate, they were very quick to respond and get the inspection of the roof scheduled. I had already been told by another roofing company that insurance would not pay for any part of a new roof. After an inspection, Jesse told me otherwise, and explained everything about the process of working with insurance. He helped with every step of this and communicated with insurance and myself throughout the entire process. Overall, a very professional and efficient company to work with. Zach was also great to work with. He managed the project of replacing my entire roof/detached garage. They completed the work in one day and cleaned up everything very well. Additionally, they carry some absolutely gorgeous shingles in varying shades that are just a little more unique, with a long and established history.Chase and Hugo and their team were responsive and patient with all requests. The customers vision was always their end goal. They had a lot of work to do with roof replacement and multiple skylight glass to replace. They were honest in their assessment and recommendations that the gutters did not need to be fully replaced given their condition.
