They were able to install the fence earlier than anticipated, were friendly and considerate of our property, and had very affordable prices. Cons: The builders did not communicate with me to make sure everything was correct for my fence, my fence was not leveled out properly, my gate had nails sticking out which caused some cracks, they installed the caps lower than my fence. Pros: They sent a more seasoned contractor to fix what I was not happy with and they gave a discount for the caps. Can't say I would recommend them to anyone in search of a fence, all in all I'm not happy with the the installation of my fence.

I had a new roof, gutters and trim installed in August 2018. Since the installation, during heavy rains, water came into my office and dripped from the ceiling. This problem never existed with my old roof and gutters. Each time it happened, Richmond would try and address the leak and each time we hoped it was fixed. In August of 2023, following another bad leak, the guys worked on it again and we REALLY hoped the problem was corrected. Kevin Inabnit is great to work with and he and his team have tried hard each time to fix the problem and they are really a credit to the company. Evan Richmond, not so much (slow response, if at all, to phone calls and emails). During the heavy rain we had a few weeks ago, I came downstairs on that Tuesday morning to find yet again, the ceiling had leaked and flooded the desk and floor. Unfortunately, my laptop did not survive this drenching, and had to be replaced. Kevin and his team wrapped the fascia, removed and then lowered the gutter and made sure the slope was appropriate this time to move water to the downspout. Again, we REALLY hope the leak has been fixed once and for all. Even though this was/is an ongoing problem, since I was out of the roof warranty period, I paid for this repair.My ceiling is discolored and very cracked from the repeated insults. Even though I have done nothing wrong and this has been an ongoing problem, Evan states because the damage was not caused by the roof, Richmond will not fix the ceiling at their expense. I agree that there is nothing wrong with the roofing tiles and gutter. However, we don’t pay for just the manufacturer’s product, but also for expert installation by the roofing company and that is still a WIP (even though I have high hopes again this time).My rating indicates my satisfaction with the appearance of the roof, gutters and trim and the repeated attempts to make the installation right. My rating also indicates my dissatisfaction with the ongoing problem and Richmond’s refusal to accept responsibility for the damaged ceiling.Update 4 03 2024I woke up yesterday morning to fast dripping from my ceiling. Sadly, my roof leak continues to be a problem. Attached is today's picture of my ceiling.

Roger, Kevin, and the entire Richmond crew were wonderful to work with! They came out to inspect our roof and took pictures for our insurance. Once our insurance approved all of the work, everything was scheduled super quickly. I wanted a new roof color and they helped us pick a good color and same for our gutters. Kevin was on-site for all work that was done and constantly cleaning up and inspecting the quality of the work. We also had to get some indoor ceiling painting due to a roof leak. Every single ounce of work that was done was done quickly, accurately, and professionally. Roger helped us with all of the insurance and mortgage paperwork, which was incredibly helpful. I can’t recommend Richmond Exteriors enough! My experience with Richmond was almost five stars. Everything about working with Richmond was great - good value, communication, timeliness and finished work. My ONLY complaint is that the crew left a substantial amount of mud piles all over my yard for me to take care of. Not the biggest deal, but having a cleaner space once done would have been the cherry on top. Other than that I would heartily recommend this group for your exterior needs!Service: Custom fence construction

We had a patio cover installed over our new stamped concrete. Even though we had to wait for weeks to get. the concrete installed due to lack of supply because of supply chain, the project finally happened and went very well and well done! The guys that came out were terrific! Installed patio cover in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves and our patio looks awesome! We would absolutely recommend Richmond Exteriors!!

We had a great experience with our privacy fence installation. I was told 6-8 weeks from when we placed a deposit and they started work exactly 7 weeks later. They seamlessly removed our old chain line fence and replaced a new wooden one. We love our new fence!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Richmond exteriors has been the worst company to work with by far. They were supposed to repair our siding, gutters, and window framing and it was a HORRIBLE job. To start off, they tried to make us sign a contract that was $1000 more than the agreed upon price. They started the job in November, and did a poor job to put it nicely. It is now mid-April and they still have yet to come back and finish the job they started. Very sloppy and poor quality work. They did not finish the calking around the windows and left massive gaps along the siding. The poor service went way beyond the quality of work. Their management was 10 times worse. They promised to set up an appointment with us to come back and finish the job but we did not hear anything from them until early April, and the job was started in November. We got a voice mail from a lady screaming at us for having a delinquent bill, but the job was not finished. The owner of the company, Jared Richmond, gave us a threatening call that we should pay the bill anyways. The quality of customer service is very poor. We had our installation changed so many times in 2021, but that was due to COVID and supply-chain issues. Unfortunate, but nobody could really control that. The main issues: I have had to request, THREE, separate times major corrections due to poor workmanship. Right off the bat soon after installation, top rails and panels were loose. I called to have that remediated. They came out and installed screws to secure the top rails because they were missing and were not installed the first time. Then they realized that my gate is upside down, that same day. That explained why it sagged and didn't lock correctly. The gate was also missing some brackets and a support bar. The second time a gust of wind blew out an entire section of fence. It was an eyesore and embarrassing for me and for Richmond as a company. My fence was the only one affected. I asked for a full comprehensive check on the fence. They came out and realized there were some screws missing to secure the top rails on the other half!! As for the comprehensive check, it was not done. I work form home and watched them repair the panels, but no check was done. The third time, another gust of wind blew out some other panels. Again, my fence was the only one affected. I was pretty irate the third time and requested a manager, owner, whatever to come to come knock on my door and do a comprehensive check together. So that they don't ever have show up again. They have a sense a humor because they suggested the person that installed my fence to come out, I told them that is the last person I want coming to check the fence, so they sent out a site manager or whatever with many many years of experience. He fixed the panels and assured me it was good to go. We'll see. My saving grace is the warranty that covers them coming back out, but only lasts two years, and mine is up October. I debated waiting until then to leave this review in case something else happened and they had to come out, but I truly am over this company. The final supervisor or manager left his business card so that was appreciated. If they had a decal of their company on my fence, they don't, I would take it down. If I had all the money in the world, I would tear it down and have another company do it. Their customer service people were always friendly and helpful though, when you could reach them.Service: Fence installation

In 2006 I had Richmond replace my roof. Recently I noticed I a crack in my livingroom ceiling and water slowly dripping. I finally called Richmond Exteriors to come and give me an estimate for a new roof. Not too much difference from 2006 price so I signed up. Of course I was worried because the temperatures were starting to be in the 40s. A few days it warmed up some and then it cooled down again and they finally got were able to get me squeezed in the schedule. Had me done in one day, my house is small. I really like the color I picked. No more ceiling leak. Thank you Richmond Exteriors. You made a difficult situation so very easy. I had new insulated vinyl siding installed to replace cedar siding. I also had new gutters & leaf shields installed. The quality of the product and the work performed was excellent. The lead manager was very responsive. There was some occasional misunderstanding with the Spanish speaking crew on a few details, but my own Spanish speaking abilities resolved those. Overall I am very pleased with the end result. It looks great!
