Been trying to get the windows and door fixed since installation and they can't get their act together. Will not be using them EVER again. Will be contacting BBB and attorney.

Do not recommend. Our partial bathroom remodel took 5 days - first because there was water in the walls that had to dry out for a day. Secondly, the workers did not bring enough flooring and had to come back the next day with more. The salesman told us that they always ripped the floor to the studs to ensure no mold or damage and then laid new subfloor and flooring on top. The workers who did our floor laid the new floor over the current floor which was laid over another flooring. There are now three layers of flooring in our bathroom which causes a significant height difference between the hallway and bathroom. The molding at the bottom of the tub also has a significant dip in it due to flooring height. We purchased a vanity to have put in by the workers. The vanity has adjustable shelves inside the cabinets but the workers apparently missed that and proceeded to cut away a large portion of one shelf to fit the pipes from the sink. The shelf could have been moved down to prevent the cut.Considering the price and quality of work, this company is screwing people over.

We used them years ago for a couple things and they were wonderful then. We recently moved and wanted to transfer a warranty. They were not only helpful with getting that done, but reminded me of another purchase we had made through them that also had a transferrable warranty. Great customer service! They are certainly worth checking out.

Look elsewhere!!! Unreliable, unprofessional, shotty craftsmanship, and an overall flaky business. I paid out-of-pocket for every window in my house to be replaced including 3 total tear outs. The installers were frantically trying to complete the work in 1 day stating that they had been scheduled to do so because they had another job the next day. The installers were doing the best they could, but the company and scheduling left no room for them to take their time to do proper work. Then my project had to be broken up into multiple days because they figured out in the middle of installing that they didn’t have all the supplies needed to complete the job. I don’t know if there was one appointment beyond the initial sales call when they showed up on time or even bothered to show up at all. There must be a little to no communication between their scheduling team and field staff. They boast a lifetime warranty, but that must be out of necessity because my windows have not been in for 3 months yet and I’ve already had 5 windows not able to close!! It took them over a month to come address a window that was stuck about 2 inches open knowing that the temperatures were at the freezing mark. My window was open a month in freezing temps before they came to fix it!!! Here I am again with another wasted day as they were supposed to show up between 230PM and 4PM and it’s been another no call no show from Unique. My home is left unsafe as multiple windows won’t close in order to lock. Not to mention constantly having to leave them voicemails that go unreturned. They damaged my plaster wall during one of the tear outs and had to come back 3 different times to repair it leaving chunks of plaster dried to my carpet because they didn’t protect the floor. Mind you the sales rep stated that they would be very clean throughout the process… they were not. l I’m at my whit’s end with Unique. Where is the customer service?? I was so excited to invest in this home improvement, but Unique has made it a mess from start to finish-ish. I regret doing business with them.

Unique's Jacob and Kevin installed my windows on Wednesday even though it was so cold!! They arrived on time and completed the job expertly. They very courteous and professional and the cleanup was outstanding. Unique also worked with me to be able to get the installation done. Would highly recommend them.

Window quality is exceptional. However, company cares more about the sale price and when damage happens they still charge $250 service fee which wasn’t disclosed to me at the sale of windows. Money over customer satisfaction.

I had 2 windows installed by UNIQUE ,and an utility door taken out in my garage. I was 100 percent happy with the work. The installers were fast and thorough. Area was cleaned up and waste taken away. I plan on having more work done next year.

Jose from Unique Home Solutions was fantastic. He came to do my gutter installation even though his coworker had an emergency because they didn’t want to reschedule on me last minute. (Obviously an emergency trip to the ER would be a completely valid reason to reschedule!) He was so polite and extremely apologetic for it taking a little longer (entire house of gutters with new gutter boards, rafter tails, and leaf guards in THREE DAYS!) than anticipated since he was alone most of the time. Keep in mind they had already told me two days and he was only there for a couple hours on day three. I am very pleased with the work that was done and would highly recommend this company just for their customer service alone!

Had two doors installed. Took forever to get the doors installed. Installed fairly well. Within a week the hardware had to all be tighted. Within 5 months the latches were no longer aligned. Response from company was very slow! Found someone else to correct the problem. Will not use this company again!

Had a total of three bathrooms completely remodeled in our circa 1876 home by Unique and have been very satisfied with them. The men that came in were very professional and courteous! We wanted a claw foot tub and an antique vanity added to the bathrooms to keep the character of the home, and they made sure our wishes were met. The flooring was no longer sold by the company, after our first bathroom remodel, and they were able to order more to match these two bathrooms. Only complaint I would have is that the shower doors took longer to come in that anticipated.

I filled out a card at our local fair. The representative that called was very knowledgeable and was able to walk me thru the process. When they came out to my house the guys were very professional. We got scheduled, the workers were on time, very respectful of my children. Was completed in a timely manner! I cant begin to tell you how awful this company is. They took total advantage of my little sister. Quoted her one thing and had her sign off on the agreement that stated one finance rate and then has changed the finance rate without her knowing it. Called and it took two months to get a reply back for someone to come out and look at the gap in the kitchen window. Since the house is being sold. Called on 8/8/23 and spoke to the rudest receptionist Judy. Told me she didn't know why I was calling the number I was calling and asked if the person I had called was expecting my call. Told her that this person and I have been talking on the phone and conversing via email over the last few days. Since we have a huge discrepancy in the finance terms and were just made aware of this. Who could I speak to about the contracts. Since we had came across an issue with the documents. At that point she told me that our conversation was over and that she didn't have to give me that information. I told her that was very unprofessional and didn't understand why she couldn't direct me to the person I really need to be speaking to. She got really hateful and I then told her where she could go. That there was absolutely no excuse for the way she was talking to me. To be told you cant give me out the information on who to speak to about a falsified finance contract. But to me, it sounds like this is not the first time that this has happened. Oh BTW they were only to come out for basement water proofing quote and when the sales rep showed up. She didn't know anything about this and said they don't do that anymore and she was told that we wanted windows and gutters. TOTAL SCAM. We purchased a home that has their windows installed and I think they installed the gutter guards to inquire if there was anything I needed to do to transfer the warranty in case their were any issues but they never contacted me back. The quality of the windows are great but disappointed in not getting a call or at least a return email back from them. Definitely affects whether I let them quote future work.

Follow up to my review from 2 years ago. We are still very satisfied with the end result. Love our new roof, gutters, and windows. Since the work was completed, representatives have periodically checked in to see if we are still satisfied, and we are. UHS is quick to respond to issues we've had and has sent out technicians to correct the issues in a timely manner. Overall I and my family are very satisfied and would still recommend UHS to others.Unique Home Solution did work for our home's roof, gutters, and windows. In all instances, the people doing the work did it in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. As a home owner, I was very satisfied with the results. I was provided follow-up reviews of the work, walked through any issues found and the issues were addressed in a timely manner. I am very pleased with the outcome and how their work has improved the curbappeal of my 20 year old home. So many of these reviews are fake...I'm sure. We had to wait over 6 months to get the job started. The workers were nice enough and worked efficiently, but they were sent to our home with an inadequate 2 wheel drive truck which when full of concrete got stuck in our yard! They had to call a tow truck to pull them out! The workers did there best to apologize and fix the yard, but the company did little to make it better. Now over six months after install we have dealt with a bit of water and constant error beeps every 24 hours! Suprise, suprise no one is available to deal with our call "they will call us back within 24hrs..." yeah it's been weeks of multiple calls and nothing! So much for our lifetime warranty, less than a year in and we can't get anything resolved! Feeling like we threw away almost $10,000.00 and have a torn up basement to show for it! Not happy!

Installed incorrect screen door on the back. So had to wait fir the correct door to come in, then that was replaced. They removed woodwork from around the security door to install it. I am still waiting for it to be done correctly. Two of the boards have knot holes in them. I paid for quality product and this is not it. This is the second day they said they were coming and have not shown. When they replaced the front screen door, they cut around the doorbell. It looked like my five year old granddaughter did it. When I went to lock up, I couldn't because the handles on the screen door hit the know on the wooden door. It has been one fiasco after another. After they get their money, they don't really care if things are fixed appropriately.Service: General door installation

Horrible customer service. Horrible cleanup. Horrible communication. When we requested they come look at the final work ( because there was trash left everywhere ).. requested.. something they said they do, but never did, they came out. Not to do a final inspection, but to try to sell more windows. Twice. Not to mention, each time they came out, after we said no, they asked use our restroom. We did get windows for the rest of the house. We did NOT get them through here. I even went to do the final survey and it was already done. With a good review. Neither of us filled it out. Had an appointment to get a quote for replacement windows for the entire home. My wife has a million other things going on and the sales rep refused to provide an estimate without her present.....it is against their process. My wife has NO interest in windows and I do all the research, so the chance of her sitting down for 90 minutes, just isn't going to happen. Interestingly, all the other window companies didn't have an issue with it. This is how you destroy a business by not working with a customer.....sometimes you just have to roll with it. I'll never call them for anything.....ever!

We are in the pre-install phase. So far, we had a salesman come to the house, and then we placed an order. That was in early March. The next step was to have someone out to take final measurements and get everything on order. They came, measured, looked everything over, confirmed our color choices, and got a signature from my husband.This is where things are going wrong. We got a call saying that the paperwork isn't in order, so they need to stop by again. No problem, and we set the appointment. 30 minutes before the appointment (keeping in mind I took off work to attend this meeting), Unique cancelled on me citing an emergency. Ok, so we set up another appointment. I couldn't make that meeting, so I called an asked to reschedule. They said they would contact me with a different appointment time. No one contacted me. One week following that appointment date, they show up at my door. Only my husband was home. They said that they had questions that needed to be answered before we could move forward. My husband makes sure they have my contact info to call me. No one calls. I try to call their office. No one has any idea what questions need to be answered, but they set up another appointment to review those questions with the both of us before we can move forward. That appointment was this morning. 30 minutes before the appointment time, they call and cancel again. This time saying that all the questions are resolved and they can move forward. They never asked me to clarify anything, never asked my husband and I to sign more paperwork. So, this entire period could have been avoided, and yet it took 2 months to put items on order. One of these items has a 6 month lead time, so now, instead of installing mid-September, it will be mid-November. I'm sure there will be no weather related delays in November, right?I will never use this company again. I would recommend you save yourself the stress and worry and find someone else.Update: Everything was finally installed. However, the front door that they installed has some defects. They came out to try and correct them, but then indicated that they would have to replace the door again. They called and said they would be out to replace the door, then called the day of replacement to say that door was defective and damaged. It's been several months again. Haven't heard a word from them.So, it looks like at the end of all of this, which started at a home show a year and a half ago, that my $20,000 has resulted in a front door that ices up on the inside along with a screen door that won't latch and a handle that falls off unless you remember to retighten it once a week, a sliding glass door that I love, and soffits that look pretty nice.The front door and storm door has really tainted my whole experience with this company. 18 months later with no resolution is not the pinnacle of customer service. Especially for that price tag.However, they did send a follow up sales guy last January to try and sell me more things, even though they have never resolved the front door issue.Services: Sliding glass door installation & replacement, General door installation

They did a great job, we are extremely happy with their service.
