Kris of Superior Home Renovations is a gold-standard contractor. He is motivated, realizable, trustworthy, and professional.He came out and quoted. Provided great estimate summary and documentation. He was patient with us having some starts and stops in making the decision over a six-month period.Then, when we were ready, he brought out the shingle samples to hold up to the house. We pulled the trigger, he put us on the schedule and bang it was done when he said it would be done.They took off old shingles in one day, then shingled it with architecture grade the next day. Then, gutters on day three and we were done.We have a TRANSFERABLE lifetime materials warrenty with 25 years on parts and labor. So guess what? We ain't worried about the roof.Two other companies either never responded or didn't show up for scheduled estimate and wasted my time. If you're done wasting your time and fighting crappy contractors, call Kris and see how good it can get. Oh. And my wife loves it and is happy. Total win!

We were extremely pleased with the entire process of getting our roof inspected and replaced. The owner of the company, Kris, personally inspected the roof, gave us a very detailed estimate and answered all of our questions. He was totally professional, respectful and absolutely wonderful. He was able to schedule the work quickly and notified us when his crew would be able to start. The men arrived on time and began working immediately. Kris was on site several different times and checked in with us to make sure we were OK. Because our gutters were new, they tarped the entire house for protection. When they were done, the workers cleaned our yard, driveway and porches. The clean up was done meticulously. Kris came to check and actually walked around the whole house and made sure we were satisfied. The roof looks wonderful and we are extremely satisfied. Kris, the owner, was the main reason we signed the contract with this company. He was incredible and his presentation was perfect. I had 3 roofers come out to give an estimate. The first one came out and did not get on roof to assess roof condition. I mentioned I had water leakage and asked if he would like to look at the attic space. He hesitated but agreed. His opinion, after looking at roof from the inside, was that steam from the shower below was the problem. I mentioned that shower has not been used in over a year but he insisted that was the problem. 2nd roofing company delayed their appointment twice. I called the company to cancel the appointment as it was already night time before they showed up. They confirmed cancellation, but guy showed up an hour and a half later. Told him I had already cancelled. We made a 2nd appointment. A day before, I had made an appointment with Kristopher of Superior Home Renovations. When Kris came out, he immediately took out his ladder, went up on the roof walked around, took pictures, asked if he can view the leaking from the inside and told me it was time for a roof replacement, which I agreed, since this was the original roof when we built our home back in 2002. Kris told me he would get back to me with an estimate, which he did. A complete estimate, with pictures and measurements of our home and roof. After I decided to go with Superior Home, I called the 2nd roofer to cancel the appointment. They confirmed cancellation and guess what, the guy showed up the following morning. I told him I had already signed a contract with Superior Home Renovations and told him his office confirmed cancellation when I called the day before. He never got the message. I am happy with the professionalism and timeliness provided by Kris and his team. Kris told me his crew would be out between 7:30 and 8:00 and his crew was here at 7:15. They began work at around 7:30 and they were done with a complete tear off and roof replacement by 2pm. I would highly recommend Superior Home Renovations for your roof or siding projects. This company has completed several homes in our subdivision and at least one neighbor that I know of, is also a satisfied customer.Service: Roof installation

Kris and the SHR team replaced our whole roof due to storm damage and we could not be happier. Very professional team and did top quality work. I am very particular on quality of a job and not taking short cuts on materials. Kris walked me through the whole process and what they use for materials. They are definitely a step above the norm at a competitive price. As you may or may not know replacing a roof makes a mess when you remove the old roof and his team did a great job cleaning up during and after the roof was completed. Very happy with the outcome.

My husband and I could not have asked for a more caring thorough company to do our roofing! From day one until the job was done we felt that Chris and his crew were there to do a perfect job. Chris made sure everything was done to our approval! We originally were having issues with our insurance company as they felt we only needed a half roof from wind damage. Chris took over and had the adjuster come out again to prove that we needed a whole new roof. We got our new roof! Thanks Chris

We were hit by a hail storm last spring and Chris the owner came out to check on our neighbors home. So we asked Chris if he could take a look at our place. Our roof was only 9 years old and we thought it may have withstood the hail. Chris recommended we call out insurance company. The adjuster came out and showed we did need a entire roof and our aluminum siding had also been damaged.Chris gave us an estimate right away and also pointed out and was approved, that our sky lights, gutters and down spouts also needed replaced.Chris knows how to speak to the insurance companies and submit with documents of problems that were covered. We would not have understood all that was needed to repair our home.We also recommended him to 2 of our neighbors and they used his company as well. Four of the 5 homes in our cul-de-sac used Superior Home Renovation of Merrillville and would highly recommend them.

The owner chris agreed to meet us with our insurance adjuster I called several time with no response. I called the office and left several messages and nothing. No follow through.
