Waited on writing review but after snow,ice,cold,rain and high winds all within 2 months my roof has managed to survive the storms. Highly recommend the workmanship of this crew. They were thorough and worked as a team to get it done correctly. Other than the appearance (got the color I wanted) you couldn't even tell it was done they cleaned up everything. I am impressed with the outcome Love my new roof one happy customer and a lot of compliments on it. Highly recommend JL Construction

WARNING: Do not trust this contractor! Jeremy does not value customers unless they are having him do 1 or 2 day roof jobs. I engaged Jeremy Lewis and his business, J. L. Construction, to remove aluminum siding on my house in Cincinnati at a cost of $2500. As you can see in the photos, the aluminum was not even all removed. (I have many more photos of the damaged siding, and nails left on the roof) The terms of the agreement stated that the work would be completed in a professional manner and the property cleaned of debris. The work was not done professionally and screens on 13 of my windows were damaged. I don't think he pays his workers well, so this may be why the work was done so carelessly, quickly, & unprofessionally. Since this was only one phase of the work I had initiated with J.L. Construction, Jeremy assured us he would replace the damaged window screens when he commenced the next phase of our agreement which was repairing the original wood siding, gutters, and other exterior carpentry work which we agreed to move forward with via email. Jeremy Lewis said on June 27 when he came to collect the check for the aluminum siding removal (first phase) that he would return to start the work on the exterior the following week and at that time also repair the damaged screens. I was okay with that, since it was only a week away. I want to mention that 10 of the damaged screens are on brand new windows.That contract for exterior work (phase 2) was sent via email and mutually agreed upon on July 7, 2020. Jeremy Lewis did not show up the following week to commence the next phase and part two of our contractual agreement. I reached out to him via email on July 14, 2020 asking when he would begin, and he replied on July 14 saying it would be the end of the month before he could begin. He never began but kept putting me off in text messages with one excuse after another as to why he could not begin, eventually stating he would have it started and finished by the end of August. On Aug 24 I again emailed him asking when he would begin the project and repair my window screens from when he removed the aluminum siding. He never responded to that email. I again sent Jeremy Lewis an email on Sept 9 asking for some communication and a start date to which he replied by text message saying he was waiting on materials he ordered from a local supplier to which no local supplier was able to confirm any order placed by J.L. Construction. This breach of agreement has caused me substantial damage by putting me out months waiting for work that he agreed to start and complete. The wait has put me in a very vulnerable situation having exposed exterior siding and damaged box gutters needing immediate remediation before the rain and winter weather sets in, which could potentially cause foundation damage if left as-is. I wanted to warn others who are considering using this company for any work.

JL Construction just replaced my roof for an insurance claim. They hit my driveway at around 8:00 am, and by 2:30, the roof was replaced, everything cleaned up, and they were back on the road. Very nice people, and seemed to know their stuff. Jeremy even upgraded my shingles to a higher grade because the color I wanted wasn't available in the less expensive ones I ordered, and didn't raise my price. Everything looks good so far. I guess we'll know for sure the first big wind we have. 😉I would recommend JL if you're looking for good, quick work done at a reasonable price.

Met with our insurance adjuster an got us a new roof an gutters with no out of pocket cost.. Here when they said they would be an was done in no time with everything cleaned up.. would refer JLCONSTRUCTION over any of these roofing businesses around.Services: Gutter repairs, Roof repair for storm & wind damage, Roof inspection, Attic venting, Roof installation, Gutter cleaning

Jeremy did a great job converting my old box gutters to seamless 6" standard gutters. He worked with me to do the job in a way that would preserve the decorative trim on my 1890 built home and stayed on budget throughout the process.
