My wife and I used Advanced roofing at our bay house. Their name says it all they are advanced. They completed 50 year shingles and put in 5 sky lights and came in at less than half the cost of other quotes. Advanced also did a great job cleaning up after they did our roof. My mom and dad have always used them too, and we have all been happy and glad we went with quality Advanced Roofing.

Good company and very satisfied with their work but they are really hard to pay. I have tried to call them when I have available time from my work each day but they never answer their phone and paying them via credit card was nearly impossible. But otherwise they do quality work fast.

Good luck getting them to contact you, come promptly or care about your money or home. Don't use for repairs. It's not guaranteed, and they will OVERCHARGE for hardly any work. They didn't do anything to the extent they charged us, and we had to hire a separate company to redo their work. I tried to call and tell them about it, and the secretary, I think the owner's very rude wife said, “well, we are booked for months, and we don't guarantee repairs, so you should call someone else.” I have pictures of the “repairs” that they did and the quote for the repairs and we paid nearly a $1,000 for something that took less than a few hours and couple hundred dollars in materials at most. I am so disappointed we went with this company. We finally have the issue fixed that this “company” was hired to fix, and it was a night and day difference. They made sure we were home to show us the issues and how they can fix them and even pointed out the small pieces for shingles that they installed for nearly $1,000.Advanced roofing didn’t even tell us they had came we only knew about it by finding a shingle or two in the yard on the complete opposite end of where the issue was. 🤷🏼‍♀️Learn from our mistake and stay away from this company! They did an excellent job! I was very impressed with how hard they worked and the quality of their work. The only issue that I had was scheduling. I was notified the evening before they were going to be out and that happened to be my moving day. I would imagine scheduling is done based on the completion of other jobs. If possible, I would suggest just a little more notice than 12 hours. Everything worked out. I was just a little more stressed than I guess I needed to be.

Advanced Roofing did my roof and they did an okay job. They mostly cleaned up, we found several nails all up and down my driveway. They did not correctly install the roofing near the chimney and had to come out two separate times. They did not tell me the corrections they made and it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to contact me. 9 months later and many attempts to get someone to respond to me I finally get an answer. Very poor communication for a company and would not recommend Advanced to anyone.Service: Roof installation

Advanced Roofing did a fabulous job on our house (at an affordable price), so when my mom's house needed a new roof, we knew who to contact!Their crew is great. They showed up as scheduled, communicated with us about tarp placement, and got to work. One long day of work later, the old roof was gone, new roof was on, and the dumpster had been hauled away.In addition, they did a great job removing any stray nails that hadn't landed on the tarps. A little detail, but very important to us, because we have a dog who loves his yard :)

Just had our roof replaced and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive with other companies. What made me decide was the no pressure and straight quote. Without having to sell me a pitch. Great company to deal with I had 5 quotes and they were the lease expensive and had a better product and warranty. They literally got down on their hands and knees and picked up ever scrap in the yard and went over it with a magnet several times to pick up nails. When they were done you couldn't even tell it had been done by looking at the yard and the roof looks great. Highly recommended.

Great company to work with. They gave us two options, we could replace the entire roof or we could do a repair. They gave us quotes for both options and we decided to go with the repair since our shingles still had a little life on them. We haven't had any trouble since it has been fixed and it was completed in a timely fashion. I will be calling them back when we decide to put our new roof on! Very reasonable price as well.

Update: Jason, the contractor met with my husband and I after I posted the original review in November, 2018. My husband pointed out several flaws and he said he would fix them. He sent a guy to correct these issues but after a while, Jason stopped communicating with us. We have numerous unanswered texts and phone calls left on his phone and his receptionist. They do not even return a call to our insurance agents’ (yes, several) phone calls. As of August, 2019, NO responses. Just like some of the reviewers on Yelp said, this company is very irresponsible. I would never have thought we would need so many corrections on a brand new roof, let alone the stress caused by this company.We had our roof installed just recently. They did an awful job. Many nails are exposed and did not place a new boot cap as they stated in the contract. Despite our several requests to contact us regarding their work, they sent us a bill instead.

I did not have any roofing work done with them so I can't speak about their quality in that regard. They did an appraisal for a house I was looking to buy and required that a check be sent by mail to pay for the appraisal and then a receipt would be mailed back once they receive the payment. Not the biggest deal but it delays the return of my earnest money by about 2 weeks. Payment system = not advanced.

Great company to work with and Jason came within a reasonable amount time to seal skylight. He did not charge for the sealing even though it has been several years since he and his crew installed the skylight and re-roofed our home. I highly recommend Advanced Roofing.

Advanced Roofing was recommended to us by a friend. We had already asked another company for a quote but decided it was a good idea to get a second one. Advanced Roofing's quote was a fair bit less than the one we already had, and, it included higher quality shingles. So, we went with our friend's recommendation (and the better option overall). Once we were on their schedule, we were given a date that the work would begin. We were asked if it was OK for the work to begin a day or two early, if other jobs were completed ahead of schedule. The work actually began a day before the original scheduled date. The crew showed up early in the morning and actually completed the job later that same day, albeit late in the evening. That said, I have to specify that our house is a single-story cape cod, with a garage and a gable, so the roof is not overly large or complicated (but it is pretty steep). We couldn’t be happier with our new roof and would recommend Advanced Roofing for your next roofing job.

There were a few communication nuances in scheduling and implementation but after mutually reviewing the original contract and speaking directly with their management all problems were cleared and they completely backed up their word. I am very happy to have been contacted and also found a solution to my concerns. Original review (posted in 2019)Too cheap to pull a permit, too cheap to do even a half-a[x]ed job.Roof they put on leaked. Said they weren't responsible for sky lights. Flashing also leaked around a brand new fan vent put at the same time as new roof.Left nails in yard and did not clean up their mess.Owner mansplained condensation to my girlfriend,a asked if we had a humidifier (we don't) and said that condensation caused the steady drip of water inside the house and attic that caused over $4000 of damage.After saying that skylights weren't part of the roof, they caulked around flashing of skylights and left.Leak continued and tried to go to their office, which doesn't actually exist- it's a hole in the wall door between two stores.Had a different company redo their embarrassment of a roof and they continue to deny responsibility.RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENT BELOW:They did not pull a permit, we contacted the city and asked.Owner of advanced roofing said the skylights did not need to be replaced and when they leaked, Advanced Roofing claimed they were not part of the roof and that they were not responsible for them leaking.A fart fan vent also leaked on the other side of the house because they did not properly flash that either. Cut the hole myself and handed the roofer the 4" roof vent. (I do HVAC for a living).By entire roof, I meant the shingles.Mess was found in yard after the snow melted (roof was done at the end of winter).Services: Skylight repair, Roof inspection, Roof installation
