Just a few moments ago I met with a guy named Terry from JLC Construction. We have a commercial retail building we need 5,000 Sq. Ft. of drywall hung on the ceiling and two bathrooms and a utility room framed and finished.Carey and I met at the building, I walked him inside to show him the scope of work. I began by explaining I would like two separate quotes: Quote #1 for the bathroom/utility rooms being framed/finished and Quote #2 for the 5,000 Sq Ft of drywall to be hung and finished on the ceiling.(I am doing this to keep the projects consistent for the contractors submitting bids. Not everyone can handle drywall, framing, installing doors, laying the flooring, installing ADA grab bars, and installing exhausts from the bathrooms.)Immediately upon requesting 2 separate quotes, Carey shifted his attitude and told me he doesn't want to separate out the projects because "he doesn't want just a framing job" because "its not worth his time, he's too busy".No problem, why not quote just the 5,000 sq ft of drywall being hung?Regardless, he is clearly just out for himself and not to help the Muncie community develop. As a result of this, I wasted my time meeting with him and I advise anyone considering hiring this company to save their time and avoid calling.If your project is not larger than hanging/finishing 5,000 sq. ft. of drywall on a ceiling and installing framing, doors, drywall, 2 exhaust fans, ADA grabs bars, and flooring on two commercial bathrooms and utility room (approximately 2-3 weeks worth of work and $20,000-$30,000 in project costs based on current bids), your project is too small for them, based on what he told me.The most important part was his bad attitude. Upon walking out, I informed him that I do not want to do business with someone with such a bad attitude and he's the only contractor thats acted that way.I hope he was just having a bad day and hasn't lived his whole life in that manner. Either way, I will pray for him. God bless you Terry.

Terry and Troy are two of the most competent professionals I've met in a long time. We had a walk-in shower installed for my elderly parents and Troy did a phenomenal job. There were some times when we had to wait for things to dry or parts to be acquired, but only a day. Patience is important as a customer. If you want it done right, don't hurry the job. Terry gave me an estimate first and it was a no-nonsense offer, very reasonable. There are far too many good things about the job and the interaction with Terry and Troy to mention them all. This is my opinion only, and what occurred during our kitchen install.We live in Marion IN, and JLC was the contracting company hired to do our kitchen, I believe they may be close to Muncie, owned by Terri. I have never been so upset with such poor ethical behavior. Being up in Marion, we were pretty much an after thought by JLC, especially when we came back from a planned vacation.After some work was completed when we arrived back, we then went 10 days without any progress. I finally had to call Lowe's customer service and complain to get our kitchen finished. Also, take note of what changes he makes to your planned kitchen.Terri skimped on our pantry, such as he placed 12" shelving when 18" shelving could easily fit. And we were not even given a door knob for the pantry door! How cheap is that?By the way, we were originally supposed to have a pull out kitchen drawer pantry, but since it was $2000, he went to a closet pantry instead for us. We lost a lot of storage space and am not sure if my husband and I were cheated out of what we paid for.Also, Terri often called last minute to see if we'd be home to have someone drop by at a moment's notice, as one of his employees might be in the area that day. I asked for a consistent schedule for someone to be in my home, however that must have been too demanding. And when I told him his worker couldn't come, he yelled on the phone. Not a very professional behavior in my opinion.Just beware of this company. And a long install time.

I would never recommend renting through Terry Moore. When my roommates and I moved in, our house was downright filthy, even though we had to wait so his company could “clean” for us. Throughout the two years we lived there, when we would need something fixed he would send someone to perform and quick fix but never quiet fix the issue. Our dishwasher was always broken and and our clothes washer never worked correctly. Upon move out, terry told us that we would not be charged for several damages in the house. We just received less then our security deposit back for ridiculous charges. He also did not keep his word when saying we would not be charged for the damages. I would recommend finding a renting company that is much more trustworthy.

Has work done earlier this year, foundation. Paid a lot of money for crawlspace repair. They didn't fix all the issues, if anything, made it worse. I am still trying to get it fixed. DO NOT use them. Waste of money
