My gas fireplace stopped working, so I called Home Lumber and spoke to Bree. I had used them before, and been very satisfied with their work. It is exceptional to be able to find a telephone number, and a real person answering your call immediately on the other end. Bree was knowledgeable, polite, and enjoyable to talk with. She gave me the closest appointment she could find, however, later, I had to cancel the appointment because of a conflict, but when I called back she was very helpful in moving the date for me without making me feel badly. Because of Bree, making and changing the appointment was very easy and quick. The. technician, Sean, came on time, removed his shoes, and found the issue immediately. He cleaned my screen and was careful not to make a mess around my fireplace or damage any of the items I had there. He also gave me hints on how to use my ceiling fans more effectively. I was pleased about the tips because I am always trying to reduce the amount of energy I use. I have found the employees at Home Lumber to be very helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend their services and employees very highly.

Sean Stephenson came to my house today to fix my gas fireplace. He called and said he would be there in 10 -15 minutes. He arrived within the time frame. He greeted me and identified himself and confirmed what he was there to do. He proceeded to the fireplace and began working. As he worked he explained what he was doing as he picked up I was interested in what he was doing. I built most of my house so I was a hands on person when it came to maintaining our house. I have had several subcontractors and repairmen come to our house over the past 36 years and Sean is one of the best I have ever experienced. He was professional, kind, understanding, technical and he knew his fireplaces. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and gave me several tips on what I could do to maintain my fireplaces. Without a doubt I will be keeping him in mind for future reference. I told my wife if she ever needed anything done with our wood burning stove or our gas fireplaces, and I was not available, Sean was the one to call. He did a GREAT job and is one of the best repairmen I have ever experienced!

Amazing service support. Had them out to replace what we thought was a pilot assembly. Turned out to be a bad switch. Sean did a ton of extra things to make my fireplace better as well. Replace the golden embers and added fairy dust, discussed and then installed a blower system to make my fireplace more efficient, and discussed how to maintain the unit as well. Very excited to have a working fireplace, and could not be happier with the service and support from home lumber.

The amazing crew (Jay, Dan, Trent) just installed a beautiful French door in my home; and I can't say enough about the quality workmanship and precision this team brought to the project. this crew doesn't believe in shortcuts. The outcome is perfect. From the onset, this company took my "vision" and made it happen. This is the 3rd major renovation this company and their teams have preformed for me - 1st was an antiquated gas fireplaced replaced with an updated version; and the 2nd a large patio door installed. I will definately be contacting them for any future home projects I undertake. I highly recommend this company.
