After getting sticker shock from an architect firm in Tippecanoe County, my wife and I did a couple independent searches on the web for someone else. It has been several years since I built our first house and I do our own remodel jobs but we needed a professional for plans. We decided on a rather ambitious addition, for us, with sun room, basement and big garage. I was intrigued to see Angle Right Solutions in my search as they were located not far from us and in another county. I called the number from the website and left a message. My call was returned the next day by Brent, who apologized for the delay as he was tied up with another project the day before. Not an issue with me. I know how busy the industry is and if someone is busy it usually reflects well upon their business. Brent and I hit it off from the get go... in fact, I think I kept him on the phone too long at times as I have a lot of stories to share (my wife says it's the pastor in me--lol). He gave me a run down of what he offered and what he didn't and we scheduled a meeting. Brent came to our home and my wife and I discussed our ideas for the addition. He spent a great deal of time with us discussing our vision and making suggestions. He did the needed measuring and investigation our property to give us accurate insights. We reached out to Brent as we considered probable issues and design ideas along the way and Brent was very kind and willing to do what was needed. Within a 4-6 weeks, as I recall, Brent contacted us to share the plans he had drawn up along with 3D views, which was very helpful. We talked about modifications and relatively quickly the final plans (at that time) were emailed to me. The cost for it all was very competitive and the work was outstanding! His attention to detail is above the normal you will find from others. I also want to say that Brent goes above and beyond--I had to contact Brent several times as I dealt with the Tippecanoe County Building Commission and he was incredibly gracious and helpful, changing our plans a couple of times to satisfy the county (anyone building in this county has a story to tell in dealing with permits, etc...), calling them himself to clarify what they were wanting so he could make the changes needed to our plans. Brent refused added payment for these changes--very generous! I would not hesitate to recommend Brent to anyone and in fact have done so on a couple of occasions. He is professional, prompt, attentive, very kind, recognizes the project vision, and has a keen eye for detail. Our project was also his project and it seems to me that is what everyone would want. Brent Blume at Angle Right Solutions was not just my architect, he also became my friend. Thank you Brent for all of your time and hard work (your wife too!). My husband and I contacted Brent after a recommendation from a trusted friend. We had been struggling with a kitchen design after an addition onto our home left our current kitchen slightly unfunctional and a front room that we weren't quite sure what to do with. Brent took the time to listen and get to know us allowing him to put the personal touch on the design that we were hoping for and bring together my husband and I's very different "vision" and the 3-D pictures allowed me to have the visual that I was needing in order to feel more comfortable with the design. Brent did an amazing job designing our lake house. He was in constant communication with us and made requested tweaks as we went along. He also went to the town hall to make sure we were following certain requirements and was in contact with them for some additions we wanted to add. I met with Brent Blume with Angle Right Solutions with only a vague idea on the custom home layout I wanted.In a very reasonable amount of time he sent me a completed floor plan to review. There were some revisions needed and he had no problems making them. He is really easy to work with. If you need anything that has to do with blueprints, I definitely recommend using this company.

I first contacted Brent via his website after searching for a local house designer. He reached out to me very quickly and gave me a run down of what he offered. We also discussed what I was looking for. He said he had some jobs to finish but planned to be in touch in December. He actually contacted me in November. He came out to my home to discuss what I was looking for in a home addition. He spent a great deal of time with me discussing my ideas and vision. He measured my existing house and we discussed the end of February for a projected timeline. During the interim, I reached out to Brent as I thought of ideas along the way. Brent contacted me in December saying he had tentative plans and wanted to meet to look at what he had come up with and discuss any modifications before he finalized them. Again, he spent a great deal of time with us discussing the proposed plans. He took my ideas and needs and combined them with his sense of design and keen eye, giving me a final product beyond anything I could have came up with. He used great problem solving and architectural design to address some of the structural challenges I have owning an over 100 year old 1.5 story farmhouse. As a Custom Home Builder, and House Plans Design Architect, I draft up my own home plans, but hire Brent to get those 7 drafts onto a better CAD program.He listens to my needs, makes changes where I ask, has good input, and the plans go off to framer and Lumber engineers shortly after — for bidding job and final system design work.During the framing process we had to change two dormer widths to meet last minute engineering needs.Brent made the plan changes within 14 hours, working with my systems engineer.8900 sq ft of house is finally completed!Only thing I’d of done differently, would have been to have Brent put my plumbing and electrical plans on his CAD program as well.Would recommend Angle Right Solutions.

Brent took our ideas and my computerized plans and turned them into a complete blueprint for us. He was able to give us new ideas and show us with 3-D, why we may want to do some things differently.
