The team was very personable and friendly. They treated our home and most importantly, our dogs with the utmost respect and care. I met with David and showed him my idea for my 2 story living room and had a new paint color picked out. He was very professional and was excited to get started. I absolutely cannot speak highly enough of David Brown and his entire crew with An Extra Hand. We just completed a full kitchen overhaul and I can truly say David and his team created our Dream Kitchen for us.The crew was consistently punctual and considerate, arriving every day at 9am and completing full solid days work each and every work day. We were always impressed at how much they accomplished at the end of each day. The entire team was very conscientious of cleanliness, from sheeting off construction areas with tarps to never leaving a shred of trash or debris behind. The work site was tidy at the end of each day and they took the extra steps to clean/dust/wipe down everything at the end of the job so all the had to do was settle into our beautiful new space.Always going above and beyond, the integrity and quality of An Extra Hand's work is unmatched. Along the way of our remodel, we hit lots of unavoidable bumps and snags - between the current distribution chain issues along with gaps and misinformation left by suppliers. A big part of the remodel was removing the heavy overhanging bulkhead above our original cabinets. Once getting into the walls, there were lots of unexpected vent piping and electrical wiring that needed rerouted and rehomed. The ingenuity of the team kicked right in and they made the necessary adjustments to allow the design to move forward as planned. The plans from our cabinet company weren't entirely accurate, causing our new window to be installed 2" off center from the sink. The crew didn't even hesitate to do the extra work to move and reset the entire window to get it right. As the kitchen was coming together, I made a pretty big request requiring half a day of extra work. It's a given that this change would incur additional cost but David didn't hesitate to add the extra work into the schedule to ensure the end result was exactly what we wanted it to be. One of our lower cabinets got lost in shipping, delaying the countertops for almost a full week. Once we tracked it down, David was able to rely on his strong relationship with his sub contractors to expedite the counters and keep the project on track with the timeline. Again and again, as obstacles popped up, David reassured us it would come together just the way we hoped, offered guidance to help us make decisions, and ultimately delivered 110% on everything he promised.In addition to the kitchen, the crew also installed a pull down attic door/ladder, raised our attic floor above the utilities to lay subfloor, stained & installed a new front door and refinished our wooden beam mantle (among a whole list of other misc household tasks). It was so great to have all these additional items addressed and well tended to.Before they left, we requested a quote for our next project. It’s hard trusting someone with your family home and investment. The exterior of our home needed more work than we were capable of taking on so for the first time ever we (nervously) hired someone else to do it. The owner was professional and courteous, so was the crew - no complaints from the neighbors! Pricing was transparent and there wasn’t a surprise bill at the end. We received not only what the house needed, but exactly what we wanted as if we had done it ourselves, but with much better results. It feels good pulling up to the house and into the driveway now. Would I hire An Extra Hand again? Absolutely. Thank you!

Wow! David has assembled such a great team of experienced remodel and construction professionals....NOTHING is subcontracted out! We had our deck replaced. From the initial estimate (quite reasonable!) to the finished product, this company was outstanding! They gave us a quote for the work we needed done. The big job was power washing and staining the deck. The job that we were really worried about a bit was the ceiling moving in the living room when someone walked in the bedroom above it. We had no idea how to fix that. Then once it was fixed the living room ceiling needed repainted. We also had 5 places of broken siding that needed replaced.They gave us a quote, showed up when promised, communicated, did more than we asked, cleaned up afterwards, and protected every other surface while doing the jobs.Every person on the job was friendly, professional, helpful, and went out of their way to see we were satisfied.We are so happy with their work. No job too big or small. We will be calling them again as budget allows.Only pics I got are before and after on deck.Totally recommend.

Big SHOUT OUT to David Brown of An Extra Hand for helping out Highland Acres Subdivision after a storm came though a few weeks back that left quite a few of our roads blocked with downed trees.
