Just received a quote that was 4x as high as other quotes for the same work, and at the end of the quote they offer a whole new roof for a tiny bit more. They basically try to over-quote small work to scare you into buying a whole roof replacement. Lots of roofing companies will try to scare you into a new roof over small or medium repairs. Don't do it.

I purchased a new property that needed a roof, and I accepted bids from several area roofers with excellent reputations. The owner, Dave Boyer, met with me to provide the estimate, and I got a very strong sense that the job would be done right by Boyer Roofing. He did not try to upsell anything, and he chose the correct products for my unique roof. The finished product is an excellent roof that gives me peace of mind. Also, he came in over $1,000 under his estimate, which I was not expecting. I cannot say enough good about him or his project managers. I hope he is still in business the next time I need a roof!!
