Did a siding job for me, and as I was leaving my car, they had issues they called an automobile shop and got me in the same day! These people are very nice and helpful! Super pleasant doing business with!

Removed and replaced part of my roof. Wind blew some shingles off in one place and a water leak in another. I cannot tell where the old shingles were missing and I have no more leak. They did such a good job I had them replaced the roof on my porch. They are my go-to guys now.

Posting this to help other young couples. We don’t want anyone to have to go through what we went through. My husband and I had an office renovated into an apartment area for us to live in while we save to build a house. In November we hired a contractor to come in and completely remodel our space. He assured us this would be an “easy” project and would only take him and his crew about 2 weeks. We were eager to move in and said sure let’s do it the quicker the better! BIG MISTAKE!! A “two week” project turned into a 4 month project! I was constantly having to ask them to redo their work to make it better and this is what I was left with. We have tried reaching out to inform them of the issues and have not heard back. Like I said this post is simply to educate other young couples like ourselves of the importance in researching a contractor before hiring them!!- they built two walls to create our shower. they are cracking and falling apart. You can see how sloppy the drywall looks. The shower head wobbles around and is very messy looking. The baseboards around the tub are not even lined properly.- the brand new flooring: when they were finished installing this I told them there were gaps throughout and this was not ok. They fixed two of those gaps and yet they are back again along with many other gaps in our floors. They also installed these very early before they were finished and left scratches everywhere. They told me to use a floor pencil to fix it. BRAND NEW FLOORS!- they did not glue the shower to the wall prior to installing it. BRAND NEW SHOWER and it wobbles off the wallThis is just a few of the issues we have ran across so far. There are too many to name. Lesson learned the hard way ! Sad thing is we have heard other people complain about the same contractor since we have had this done. This company was also voted Contractor of the Year in Knox County !!! Be very cautious before hiring Kohlhouse General Contracting !!
