i am not sure where to start. but here goes. i thought i was getting a world class contracting company. during the process of repairing my home after the derratio {not spelled right} i was a little suspect about some of the changes they wanted to make. up until that point i was very happy about all of the small things they were taking care of. that bring said, fast forward a year and a half later or so, some problems started cropping up. these are problems due to workmanship, nothing else. when i confronted the company, i was told, there was only a year warranty. my question is if it is a workmanship problem, there should not be a time line, or do they not wish to have repeat customers, or even care.

ABC was a great company to work with. Their sales rep was knowledgeable and prompt with responses to my questions. The ABC team worked with my insurance company to secure payments for the replacement of my roof, siding, and gutters after significant storm damage. Doug in particular has been wonderful to work with. He keeps in touch, replies in a timely manner, is a wonderful contact person as he takes care of things on our behalf.... So far we have had them do our roof and siding after the Derecho. I could not ask for a better group of people working on my home. My siding team has went above and beyond to keep the area clean for my dogs. They added so much small details to my home, making it so much better than I ever could have dreamed! I truly could not be happier with their work. They still have gutters to do and painting but I am very confident the work will be just as great. They truly care about their customers and treated my home like theirs. I am very pleased.

If you put as much effort into your contracts as you do your online responses maybe customers would be satisfied with your business.Also your sarcastic comment is very unprofessional and will show everyone everything they need to know about your conduct.When you screw people over for a living i guess you need some witty comebacks at the ready.

American Building Contractors were our saving grace going through the Derecho that hit Iowa in August. They helped us navigate through the process of making the insurance claim, meeting and working with our insurance adjuster, replacement of our roof and other damages to our home from the storm.They have gone the extra mile, checked on our progress, treated us like we are the only customer they have, followed up with us on our repairs and restoration, answering questions, and making sure we are satisfied.Joe Peller and his team give 5-star professionalism, care, work ethics, customer service and extra care making us feel that we were important to their business!!!I can’t thank them enough for being there with us every step of the way through this historical event of the century,

Joe Peller, the agent was extremely professional and thorough and the company prepared a very complete list of repairs and cost analysis to my insurance company and everything was approved.Without ABC’s help I would not have been approved for the work needing to be done on my home.The work will be completed next spring.

We used American building contractors after the August 10 derecho, and they have been boots on the ground ever since.Brad Weatherman and his team have walked us through every step of an overly stressful insurance process, took time to make sure every question we had was answered and has never left a phone call or email unanswered. Brad stood beside us and made sure insurance gave us what we were owed jumping through every hoop they through at us , all the awhile never letting us give up hope that our house would indeed be fixed. Thanks to Brad and his team our house will be put back together and we can breath a little sigh of relief !
