Very impressed with both the work and service. Adam came out right away for a small shingle issue I had from some recent high winds and was very prompt in completing the job at a fair price. I own rental properties and working with contractors can be a challenge at times, especially on small jobs that many don't want to mess with, but that wasn't the case here. Highly recommend Adam and his team at AW Home Improvement!

I had Aw shingle my roof shortly after derecho and I'm glad I went with them because after 3 1/2 years and alot of high winds and even some hail my roof is still leak free and unscathed.

Absolutely great! Very responsive and professional. There was an issue and a miscommunication during the process but Adam apologized and rectified the situation immediately. Took awhile for work to get started, but that was due to things being ordered. It was in no way Adam's fault. My only complaint was the subcontractors did not seal around either door they installed and I had to do it myself. But not shabby considering the amount of work I needed done, something getting missed was bound to happen.

After the ’20 derecho, when it was difficult to get repair work done at a reasonable price (if you got someone to respond at all), AW Home Improvement was a breath of fresh air. After almost two years of opportunistic (e.g. "gonna have to replace everything instead of fixing just the damaged parts") salesmen or getting ghosted by contractors to fix derecho damage in Cedar Rapids, IA, Adam at AW Home Improvement was awesome to work with!We talked on the phone on October 4th, reviewed the repairs needed on the 5th (with an on site estimate), and I'm writing this on October 13th with the work DONE! Gutter replacements, soffit repairs, siding fixed (with matching color - no "ITEL" test needed after he easily saw the printed product code on the seam), and fascia fixes all look excellent. AW Home Improvement did our residing of our house after the Derecho. Last weekend the winds caused some damage. We sent Adam photos and he assured us he would be out as soon as he could to repair the damage. Yes, like many we suffer from Derecho PTSD when the winds starting roaring. Having Adam Wagner and AW Home Improvement on our side makes the anxiety much less! Adam and his team are always responsive, stay in communication and follow up their word. It is truly such a pleasure to write this review for AW Home Improvement's wonderful work & delivery. We were in a messy fix of sorts...early October, when we had a most unprecedented collapse of our 3 seasons sun room and damage to our roof & screened-in porch. No one stepped up to the challenge to consider taking it on, to minimize damage to the exposed parts of the house, until we discovered Adam & AW Home Improvement!  Adam & his Super Team got started...new sun room, screened in porch, roof work & siding for the entire back of the house...it seemed like a long 3 months given it is wintertime. An absolute pleasure to work with Adam and enjoy an occasional chat-discuss progress over a good cuppa tea! Adam Wagner sided over my dryer vent. When this was brought to his attention, he offered to fix the mistake. However, he sent somebody that doesn’t know siding, apparently, because they did every step wrong: damaged starter strip, incorrect j-box installation, didn’t seal cuts and holes, didn’t even snap siding together, just left it flapping in the wind. With way too much effort, he sent somebody to repair the repair. They didn’t. Again with much effort, the best offer I got is an offer of a fix within the next couple weeks, but a refusal to schedule a date or time. I decided to fix his company’s mistakes myself.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! CHECK BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!!! The worst company I have ever worked with!! Drive by my home at 1514 1st St SW and see the horrible job done on my house and garage!!! Many gaps in siding, siding falling off on garage, window caulking looks like it was done by a 5 year old!!! ONE WINDOW NEVER DONE!! Adam is a liar, makes promises and does not fulfill them. Adam puts his guys in awful situations with homeowner!! IF I HAD THE EXTRA PIECES OF SIDIND PROMISSES TO ME I COULD FIX THE MESSES THEY LEFT!!! DO NOT USE COMPANY YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!
