Young Construction did an absolutely awesome job on our home. We sent an on-line inquiry to them and they followed up within a day or two and setup an appointment with Jason. He spend a couple hours with us and provided a very detailed quotation for the services he recommended. We knew we wanted siding, gutters and soffit but cost was a concern. We spent a couple weeks driving around various neighborhoods in our community to see what people were using on new homes so we could finalize color and material decisions. After an exhaustive search it became very clear that everything Jason recommended was 100% right. The installation was incredible. There were 9 guys working at all times and within a very short amount of time there was scaffolding all the way around our three story home and people were removing gutters, siding and soffit. They would have been done in three days if we hadn't put so much stone on the front but the end result was just incredible. I reached out to Young Construction via a good referral from and friend, client and highly respected business man in Cedar Rapids. Initial meeting with project manager seemed very good. I "handed" my home repair job to her, but after a lack of follow through in submitting a bid with pictures to my insurance company, then having to track her down to see what is didn't get sent to the insurance adjuster, and more tracking her down, she calls me to tell me her company is no longer taking on jobs till next spring. Period. Handled very poorly, then dropped me in the middle of the insurance adjuster process. I even followed up to talk with the company about it, left a voicemail for L****, whom never returned my call. Needless to say, I gave my referrer the feedback, and would not recommend this experience to anyone.

The roof was started on time June 6. Jason said he would be here to make sure all concerns would be addressed, he was not. Jason has not been back, nor has any other rep, to address the things not done right, or left undone. I have called, texted Jason only to get a text response of I will be in town Tuesday. Didn't hear a word from him. Now Thursday, no word. Is this how you guys operate ? I should have gone with the lower bid from Five Star.Service: Roof installation

Several roofs in our HOA suffered significant damage and needed immediate tarping to avoid further damage to interior of condos. Eric from Young Construction came to the rescue. Before the end of the day the roofs were tarped. We got premium quality shingles and a great crew to replace the damaged roofs. Throughout the process Eric was ALWAYS available to answer questions.
