I would give 10 stars if that was an option. Absolutely the best contractor I have ever had the pleasure of hiring. I have 12 rental properties in the Des Moines area and hiring the correct roofing company has always been a huge burden on my time. Reese was extremely patient with my questions, communication and scheduling during the entire process from initial estimate to completion of the project.In my specific case the work was able to be completed in one day and the end results surpassed my expectations by a mile. During the time of my project one of my neighbors hired a large corporate contractor for a similar sized roof and it took them 3 1/2 days to complete. Reese is professional and ensures everything is done well and done right. It was a joy to work with him and his team. I had a big job to do ripping off not only old shingles, but also most the sheeting on my house (a lot of which had double layered sheeting). It was estimated to take 2 days, but it was done in one day. I got home around 7pm of the day they started on the roof, not a single person or debris was left behind and the roof looked spectacular and was finished! A lot of the venting on my roof was incorrect which is why my sheeting was in bad shape. Reese corrected all the venting issues and made sure the roof is now properly ventilated. His roof job comes complete with a 10 year materials and labor warranty which means they really stand behind their products and service and you can have the confidence all the work that is done, is done to last. One of the guys on the roof accidentally steped through some sheetrock in the attic. Reese was up front with me about it (he didn't try to cover it up and hope I didn't notice as some companies do). He assured me that he will take care of it at no additional cost and apologized about it. Accidents happen, but when they do, you can have the confidence these guys got your back and own up to fixing whatever they may have damaged. I can't express how good these guys are! Kling Roofing did an excellent job with our entire roof replacement. They completed the job in a single day, despite a late start due to weather. They brought me up on the roof when the previous shingles were removed to show me places of rot where boards would need to be replaced. The crew for Kling Roofing replaced my roof in 2018 after hail damage. During their inspection, they found that the roof sheathing on half my roof was no longer stable. They replaced that after removing the shingles. The roof was replaced in a single day. Kling roofing was a real find, They answered all of my questions giving me the information i needed in terms I could understand. WE agreed on a date window( cant schedule the weather) we set a date and time. At 7:AM that morning I checked outside and the ladders were up and the roof team was working. They protected the deck, plantings and the air conditioning unit. The quality of there work exceed my expectations.
