I am so incredibly greatful to Ideal Windows for such an amazing experience! Chrissy was a phenomenal help! She's very knowledgeable on product, prices and special features when I was considering options. Jackson (Owner) took time to show me in person all they had to offer in the beautiful showroom. I was so greatful to get his honest opinion. Jackson broke down the operation/benefits of my window choice, and gave advice that I desperately need for my 100 year old home. Since replacement I've received a Mid American energy audit relaying a 23% energy improvement! And my monthly bill went from $230 to $156. Thank you to everyone at Ideal Windows, Doors and Siding! My Windows are a gorgeous much needed improvement!

Ideal installed vinyl siding over my existing wood siding in April of 2023. It's a fairly large home and they finished the work in a day and a half. A week later I was still receiving compliments from neighbors and friends. Work crew was all business. Only took a break for lunch. They also installed new windows in basement. Price was very reasonable. Quality of material was excellent. This one very pleased customer. The price was great. The windows, service after the install was not. Wind whistles because they aren't sealed. Condensation on bedroom windows. Called, went to the shop and asked for someone to come out, said they would, never saw or heard from anyone.Paint peeled on trim. Mistake buying from Ideal.

The sellers of my condo, 4 years ago, had new windows installed as a condition of my purchase from them. I have had problems from the beginning with air leaking, frost coming in on my window sills in the winter, water running down my walls when it rains, to name a few. I have made more than one call to Ideal and was told I would get a call back and that has never happened. I am having new windows installed now from another company and was told that no insulation was used previously and no outside seal - the windows were just "popped in" with a little caulking and that was it. I wouldn't use Ideal ever again. They might be ok for a quick fix but the installation leaves a lot to be desired and if you have problems after-the-fact, there is no follow-up.Service: General window replacement

Avoid this company!!! We ordered windows 2 YEARS ago they finally got them after one year. Then broke the frame of one getting it in. They said they would replace it. They sent us a bill, we called back and said we are still waiting for a replacement. They ordered another window only, no frame and brought that out. Then they had to order another frame. It look 1 YEAR and 363 days to complete our 5 windows. They didn't offer a discount. They are worthless, rude, incompetent and don't care if their costumers are satisfied.Service: Custom windows

From the time Brian came to our house to explain their product and take measurements until installation was complete, our experience with IDEAL WINDOWS was awesome. Brian was great. He completely explained his product, explained installation, and listened and answered all our questions. The windows and doors we chose were top quality and pricing was fair. The real "kicker" was installation and installer Brent. Brent went out of his way to do extra little things to make each window and door perfect. His cleanliness and clean up was amazing. This year we did windows and doors on our main level, next year we will do the upper level. I wouldn't consider anyone other than IDEAL WINDOWS for that. THANK YOU Brian for an amazing experience.

We recently had Ideal do a siding job for us, a ranch style house, (snout house) if you will. The colors look amazing, we feel the quality is good, (time will tell with storms and wind). Communication was lacking, and clean up wasnt the best. Found a lot (at least 200) nails on the ground after the crew left. We have called a couple of times to have them pick up the leftover siding, job has been done for over a week. Hopefully customer service will be good if we need anything in the future.Jayson

We met with Brian in February to discuss replacing all of our windows, front door and sliding door. Our neighbor had recommended him and the company, so we were anticipating a good result.Installation started at the beginning of April, I was home the first day and thought things went well and assumed the rest of the process would be the same. My husband came home on a different day and found the installer working with the front door open and a cord running from the inside to the outside, instead of using an outlet in the garage or outdoors. He asked if it was common practice to leave the front door open on a cold day. The worker packed up and left without saying much. He did come back the next day, but continued with practices that were less than professional.The blinds & furniture in our master bedroom were not put back. We found glass and nails on the floor, clean up was not done well inside or outside the home.It took 3 weeks for the contractor to install 3 pieces of trim for windows on the front of the house. We were told it took so long because they had another job, why wouldn’t you finish one job before starting another? Once they did arrive to complete the trim they brought a piece of equipment that left ruts across our front yard. When this was mentioned to Brian he said it was no big deal, same reaction about the lack of clean up. No apologies no concern for our concerns.Our front door was installed crooked, they blamed the manufacturer, but did send someone out to straighten it. Our new storm door is warped and still has not replaced, no comments from Brian on when we can expect this to be corrected. He does not return phone calls until several attempts to try to reach him.We would not recommend this company, their actions after signing the contract have not matched their “promises” before signing.

We recently had all new windows from Ideal Windows installed in our manufactured home and are extremely pleased. Their installer, Brent, did an excellent job and knew exactly the correct way to do it in our type of home. We had checked several different window suppliers but either they did not work on our type of home or we were not confident that they knew the right way to install them. We are extremely pleased!

I had Ideal replace nearly every window in my 1964 ranch-style home over the course of a year (including basement windows). I had the best imaginable service on each project installment and LOVE LOVE my new windows! They are beautiful and so easy to clean, much more energy efficient than the old originals.What's more, once when I was having trouble with one (stuck open on a cold SUNDAY), the installer, Brent, came out on his own time to adjust it for me at no charge, and gave me a few tips for the future.Today, fully one year after my last window was installed, when I noticed one was not locking properly, Brian came out and adjusted it and again gave me a couple of helpful tips for things to watch for.PLUS, he gave me some advice and instruction on the only three windows not installed by Ideal (they were new and installed by a contractor during my remodel) -- after three years, I had NO idea those windows could easily be removed for cleaning and Brian suggested a good idea for replacing the inexpensive screens on those three.I highly recommend Brian and Ideal: excellent service and follow up. They take care of their customers.

We sat down with Brian and ordered the windows and he said everything would go great. The windows that he ordered were wrong and he had begun to install them. I brought this to his attention and he said he can't do anything about it or it would put him out of business. I ended up paying for the windows that I did not order and he was very rude about the entire situation telling me that I was overreacting. I would stay away from doing business with Ideal Window in the future. We have several neighbors that are getting window replacements and will not be calling on them also.

I unfortunately have to write this review because of the complete lack of customer service / call backs from Brian. I ordered three sets of windows and was having one sliding door weather stripping replaced. The windows were put in fine, but the caulk job was not done very well. Now I have been waiting SIX months for Brian to come and repair the sliding door. I have called repeatedly and have talked to Brian twice who will tell me he is on it and will call me back to set up an appt. Last call was three months ago and still nothing.I CAUTION you that if you go with Ideal and something doesn’t go right you may be given the run around. I would not recommend this company.

Ideal replaced panes in a older model living room window. They had to carefully pull up the old molding and, change the glass and return the molding. They did a superb job. Later, Ideal replaced our front and rear patio doors with ease. No muss. No fuss. Very pleased with their work. I'd recommend them.

Brian was fantastic. He listened to our goals (we built a small, eco-conscious and sustainable log home in Linn County) and was able to find the perfect windows for our cabin. He also stored our windows for us in his shop for a few months at no extra charge so we could take advantage of a promotion. When one window sash was damaged in transport, Brian himself came out to install the replacement. Can't recommend this business enough for new construction!

I had my windows replaced over a year ago. They were nice to work with but my house has felt colder each winter after. When having trim replaced inside, the contractor found NO insulation around them. Outside air was going into my walls but I didn't have drafts since the windows were caulked on the inside. I'm VERY disappointed to say the least. I will be paying somone else now to open the trim around each windows to reinsulate.Services: General door installation, Window installation

The owner provided an estimate that seemed high but due to my HOA rules I had to use them. They sent one guy to remove a window and install a sliding door to a proposed deck 8 feet off the ground. Needless to say, I ended up working with him all day, 9 hours. The job still was not done. It was clear it would not be finished correctly. I was able to negotiate new terms to my satisfaction but will not recommend them.

Never EVER do business with this company. Their installation of my siding was terrible. Their customer service is less than desirable. They place blame for their poor workmanship. They will not return phone calls or emails. When they finally get back to you they will lie directly to your face. They state they will do what you requested and then will not complete the job as expected.

We are very picky and like to take our time in making a decision. We chose Ideal while talking to five or six other companies . We felt like they were the most honest company that we talked to and at the end of the day, they were also the best value. I've recommended them to several friends. Five stars all day.

Called to get a estimate and was told they arent doing any estimates. I then asked them to email me that information and they refused. Guess they dont want to put anything in writing wonder qhy that is? Sound like scammers to me.
