I recently had Apple Roofing come and look at my roof. They showed up shortly after initial contact, discussed everything with me and were here for insurance adjuster inspection. Once the claim went through the whole process was really quick and smooth. Clint was amazing to work with! He was in contact with me through it all and answered any questions I had. I also had gutters done through them. I'm so pleased with the entire process. Thank you to everyone at Apple Roofing to make this a very pleasant experience!

I was very impressed with the quality of work done. They finished quickly and cleaned up afterwards very well! Came back the next day and did the gutters, and overall we are very happy with the work done! I would highly recommend these guys without hesitation !

Mike Schroeder was very helpful and understanding about our roof needs. He worked with our insurance agent after a recent hail storm and got things done. He was very professional and treated us like one of the family. His crew did an amazing job and were very hard to workers. In 2019, we had Apple Roofing come redo our roof due to hail damage. They were able to redo the roof very quickly thanks to our insurance company putting some pressure to get it done. We now, however, have issues with the drywall in our second floor because they did not put any roof vents in the roof to help with the airflow and moisture we get in the Iowa summers. I have messaged multiple times to discuss this with them and have been ghosted. Poor quality of service. They did do a decent job with the roof and gutters, but they are not great with communication. We didn't know when the gutters were being done, just came home one day to find them changing them out. It's been a 7 month process working with them and insurance for a hail storm back in September. I never seem to get a straight answer when asking questions about the cost of things. Horrible experience. I only wanted a roofing repair quote but they came and did the job without permission. They also made other errors while doing this job and never repaired them. Then after bringing it to their attention, they threatened me and tried to charge me for it; even though they trespassed and altered my house without permission. While speaking to them, they insulted me and my young children. It was a very stressful situation causing health issues for me, which they laughed at. I worked with Apple Roofing to get an estimate on replacing my roof. I didn't end up using them in the end - choosing instead to work with a lifelong family friend and his company - but I have raving reviews of Apple Roofing and would happily recommend them for their customer service alone.Their responsiveness and timeliness is extraordinary and they gladly worked around my hectic nightshift work schedule.The staff member who came to work with me, Zach Brandquist, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He was patient and honest as I asked questions about the process, insurance, terminology, and more. He treated me like a human being and not just potential customer he was trying to woo and win over, and we chatted amiably about other non-roof related topics that happened to come up.My estimate arrived astonishingly quickly the same day, and Zach explained the roof and insurance process in terms that anyone could comprehend. He followed up regularly to see how I was doing on my other roof estimates and was easy to reach and responded quickly to any questions I had, through email, text, or phone calls.I would definitely recommend this company and I would be grateful to work with them anytime.

Apple roofing did a great job. They replaced my gutters and re-roofed my entire house in the Fall of 2021. The crew were prompt, worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves. Zach was great to work with on my new roof and gutters due to hail damage. He was very responsive and worked within what insurance company would provide for the damage. He also came out himself to do some correction to the path of the gutters as that was quicker than getting the install team scheduled. I am on the board of the Greens of Golfview Townhouse Association in Ankeny, IA. It was determined that we needed to replace the roofs of our four townhome buildings. Jason bid the project and was our first choice. An important quality that drew us to Jason was his excellent communication skills. Not only did he communicate on every question posed by our board, he met with all townhome owners to answer questions and describe the roofing process. He also sent a letter introducing himself and hand delivered them to each townhome.The roofing job was done by a large team of roofers he brought in. Each day, he was on the scene supervising. Each day, he sent the board a summary of the day's progress. If questions arose, he was extremely responsive. The work on four buildings was done in three days. Jason continued the next week doing last inspections and making certain we had a quality job.Jason also helped us identify a problem that we had with the venting in each building. He went above and beyond to help us find a solution to this problem.We are very excited to have quality, beautiful new roofs, at a very competitive price, great workmanship with excellent communication each step of the way.To sum up this process, out of our 16 homeowners I heard no complaints and only compliments on Jason and his team.Services: Attic venting, Skylight installation, Roof installation

When the derecho hit we lost a couple shingles. It took awhile to get in contact with Apple Roofing, but they eventually sent someone over. The service tech was polite and understanding of our situation. We felt confident they could help us. Since that first meeting, it has been months since they have been out to replace our shingles. We ended up going with another company and that company came to our place and replaced our shingles the very next day.I liked everything about Apple Roofing besides the response time. They kept giving us times that they were going to come out and never did. The dates kept getting pushed back and in the end we did not feel valued as customers. Hopefully this was an irregularity, but we will not use this business again.Service: Roof inspection

I can not recommend this company at all! They did not stick to their initial price. Roof looks horrible and they damaged the siding on my house. I also found a bunch of nails in my driveway as well. I'm willing to bet they have some complaints on the BBB. I'm considering legal action. Don't use these guys, there are better roofing companies out there.Service: Roof installation

Requested an estimate, Robert came out in late June. I also requested gutter estimate which his response was, 'that's a lot of work'. I'm sure it is.Never received anything back from Robert as far as an estimate but a phone call same day recommending I call my insurance company instead although I do recall him telling me he'd get me something back in a few days.I didn't try to get an estimate from him after the initial contact because frankly, it would be a lot of work.I called Apple because a friend had a good experience with them but I did not have the same at first impression.

Dave was very informing and kind during his introduction. Once his guys showed up they absolutely trashed my yard with garbage from their work. There shingles in my pool and all over the yard as well as nails which would cause I problem because I have animals. I told him and he promised to give my wife and I a gift card for the inconvenience. I’ve never heard from him since. Worst experience ever! We feel taken advantage of and are very upset with our experience with Apple Roofing.
