Dunlap Construction did a fantastic job with our new deck. Dan met with us a couple times in 2017 to go over things, and we signed a contract that Fall for a specific start date in June 2018. The contract was clear, concisely worded, and he gave us more than enough time to look it all over before we signed it (and brought us a second copy for our records as well). Dan pulled the permits for the deck and they began work at the time we had agreed upon--and even started their first day in the rain. It took about a week to get it all done, and everything was just as we had imagined, if not better. It's a super sharp and solid structure and we couldn't be happier.

Dan and his team were awesome, always there to answer questions and get the job done. Dan provided a quote well before we decided to start our garage and was consistently courteous, and prompt with delivering more than what we had asked for.During our garage project we added some items, and Dan was able to complete with ease. The only hold up we had was siding, and that was our fault for selecting a siding that needed to be special ordered.Overall Dan and his team were amazing, they created an amazing garage for us, and we will for sure be using them in the future.

We did a large second floor addition (including two bedrooms, and full bathroom), plus a full remodel of the existing second floor space (including bathroom), and remodel of first floor kitchen, dining room, family room, and backdoor entryway in the Beaverdale neighborhood. Dan and Ben, and their crews did wonderful work, we have been extremely happy with the quality! We were impressed by all aspects of working with them, from the beginning of bidding the project to the finishing touches on their work, all our interactions with their crews were pleasant, friendly, and professional. They kept us informed of every decision, their communication was timely and detailed, and they completed the work largely within the initial time-frame that Dan estimated. We also very much appreciated the integrity of cost estimates that we agreed to in the original contract, with no surprise costs during the project, and many aspects of Dan's bids were billed on the low end of his projected cost ranges. We would enthusiastically recommend working with them! We plan to hire them again!

Dunlap Construction remodeled our master bath. It's the kind of contractor you hope you're getting when you hire one. The service and work was top notch.Dan Dunlap was extremely responsive to emails and telephone calls. He visited our house twice before work began. He guided us and ensured that we knew what we needed to choose and what the budget was for everything. He then took care of ordering and delivery of the items we chose.There were people working every weekday for a full day; no days with inexplicable work stoppages or little work being done. They were always here at the same time each morning, which was convenient for our weekday schedules. Dan Dunlap was at our house the majority of the time directly working on and overseeing the project.The work was completed on schedule without a single issue. The only deviations from the scope of work and original price were at our request and were properly documented with a change order. There were no surprises in work or price during or at the end of the project. The final result is a beautiful, modern master bath that's exactly what we asked for.

I couldn't have had a better experience with Dan and his crew. We did a full basement remodel involving new flooring, adding a basement bar area and fireplace, building out an in-home theater, etc. and it turned out great. You could have set your watch by when his crew arrived in the morning and their communication was always very clear via email and text. Every member of his team was polite and friendly which is great for these extensive projects. I worked daily with Ben who is a class act and treated my home like his own - he constantly came up with ideas to improve the look of the project (taking into account the perspectives of walking down the stairs, walking down the hallways, etc) that I never would have thought of and made the final look beyond my expectations. I will definitely be using them on future projects.

We had a fantastic experience with Dan and his company when we finished our basement. Dan and his team explained and held our hands every step of the way, from the bidding process to the final walk through. The schedule was given up front, and they stuck to that schedule. Change orders were explained, and fairly priced.They treated our house with exceptional care, making sure to clean up after themselves, including dusting upstairs, when the drywall dust started to fly. They cleaned up their work space every evening, before leaving for the day. They even brought in our trash cans on trash day!!I would highly recommend Dan and his company!
