Lack of communication, organization, and planning. I don’t know where their process is broken but it is broken.We hired Matrix to replace all interior doors, exterior doors, and trim/casement, as well as paint our stairwell. The initial meeting with Nick went well but that’s where the positive experience ended.From day one, his crew arrived ill-prepared. They immediately started sanding everything on the main level without covering any of our personal belongings. Material that was supposed to be saved and reused was tossed out (and hauled away before we even noticed).We constantly stayed in contact with Nick, sending photos and texts, and it seems the message was not being communicated to his crew.We live 40 miles out of town and workers arrived around 10 am, took 1.5 to 2 hour lunches, and left at 3 pm. Deadlines were missed and quality was poor.They caulked and painted over sawdust, hung trim over the window covering brackets and screws, caulking and painting is sloppy, the list goes on and on.We had a 1 hour 44 mins walkthrough with Nick and the next day, it looked worse than it did at walkthrough. My husband and I spent over 4 hours touching up paint and caulk and cleaning our house. We didn’t receive so much as an apology or “this isn’t how we do business,” so I think it’s safe to assume, this IS how they do business.This entire process has been stressful beyond measure and we would never recommend Matrix Construction to anyone.*As a one month follow up to my review, the majority of the trim is cracking at the seams. These guys have no idea what they are doing. Just hoping we can help someone else avoid all the issues we’ve had. Normally we would ask the contractor to come back out and fix it but these guys aren’t welcome back in our home. The last 3 photos show the quality of the work one month later.Service: Remodeling

Matrix construction is a perfect example of a business that treats you like family. They strive to work beside you rather than simply for you. I really enjoyed their communication, professionalism, and quality of work. Nick and Jose were quick to respond to any of my needs as well as their team. Their work is durable and of excellent quality. I would recommend them to anyone who has the opportunity of working with them.Service: Home renovations

The crew and project management were easy to work with, and everything was completed on time.
