I should have checked the reviews before I hired them.Hired them based on a referral from our realtor. And has that realtor ever gotten an earful about Burns. I needed about $10K of work done to get the house ready to sell.ScheduleTold they couldn't start the job until September (contracted late July) due to having to wait for the new window to be delivered and their basic schedule. Then September comes and goes. Claim the window hasn't been delivered so they won't do any of the other carpentry work or exterior painting until this window they were not painting arrives. In November I had to get firm with them that if they don't come and paint the exterior in the next few weeks the weather would not permit work until March and we couldn't put the house on the market in December as planned.QualityFor each job had to meet with the owner, give a list of required corrections. Cannot count on them to do it right the first time. When we did move out found a large spot behind a dresser that they just didn't paint, simply moved the dresser back to the wall to cover it up. Not sure if they just didn't paint a portion of the kitchen ceiling or not, but had to come back and finish the job. Found nails in the driveway after both the carpenters and painters finished. Numerous items of trash left under the deck that I had to remove. Painters used the front yard to clean tools each day leaving large white areas that were visible in the marketing photos of the house. Left painting equipment onsite (extension ladder and paint drum) that had to be moved for the photos despite being asked to remove all equipment. Left security cameras encased in tape that had to be removed by customer. Same for the garage door handle and lock. Simply placed the house number on top of the garage trim instead of re-fastening to the house. Trash dumpster left large grease spot on driveway.PriceSame price as other bidsThis is just another one of those vendors you would have to constantly check up on and refuse to pay until everything was 100%. After waiting several months for the job to start, they called out of the blue and asked if they could show up the next day. I said OK and they did show up but one of the things they did was on the wrong part of the house. So we tried to get them back for for days now and they’re still not here. Communication is terrible. They want to raise the price after I had the quote because of height. We tried to get them to come by and give us a quote but they just wanted us to email them pics. If they would have shown up like every other contractor does they would’ve seen the height. We had used them before and you always feel like your last in line and the least important on their list. I will never use them again and neither will anyone that asks me. I am going to find a new contractor.

Burns Home Improvement repaired our siding and painted the exterior. They did a beautiful job, were timely, and affordable. They documented the areas that needed repaired so I felt comfortable approving the work that needed done. I would recommend them to others!

ONLY THING THEY DO ON TIME IS SEND THE BILL!After waiting two months for the "correct parts" to come in, we had two cancelled appointments with this company. I had to call to track them down to see why they had not shown up.The one thing they were quick about was sending the bill! I received it while I was on a work trip and ddropped it in the mail the day I got back. In the meantime, the snooty office lady called my bank and realtor telling them I had not paid. The bill was paid within 10 days, but that wasn't quick enough for this SLOW AS MOLASSES COMPANY.Here's your KARMA, snooty office lady! I tell EVERYONE I know not to use your company.

2-3 month job maximum. Now over a year later all the work isn't done and over budget. If negative stars were possible, they would be greatly deserved.

Low class. They are doing the work down the street, but parked their ugly trailer right in front of my house, and left it. It’s a eyesore and it semi-blocks my driveway, making it difficult to enter and exit. Why can’t they park in front of the house where they were hired for the work?
