My garage door spring broke. I called late at night and left a message. I received a call the next morning and was able to schedule a time the same day. Dutch Boy was able to arrive earlier than expected and replace the spring with a higher quality spring than I had. He was swift to replace the spring. He didn't try to upsell me even when I asked if my other garage needed to be replaced. The price to replace the spring was extremely reasonable.

Great experience! We've worked with Dutch Boy twice now, once for a garage door installation at our prior house and most recently for ordering + installing a garage door at our current house. Harm is knowledgeable, transparent, does quality work, and is pleasant to do business with. He provided a free consultation/advice (our very-old door was on its last leg, but we needed it to function at least long enough to get a replacement), no pressure to buy, was upfront about cost and timing (currently 2-4 week turnaround, sourced from a fairly local manufacturer, lots of door options to choose from), and made scheduling easy. As estimated, it was an efficient 2 hours to replace the door and walk through it afterward with me, and there's a 1-year warranty. Highly recommend Dutch Boy Motors & Garage Doors!

Great quality of work. A lot lower price than the competitors with the same quality. Even checked my other car garage door for me. And guess what, it didn't come with him trying to talk me into replacing it. Being honest will take them far. You wont get that from the competitors.

Both springs on my garage door broke and it was a mid Saturday morning. Not knowing who to call I searched for a company near me and found Dutch Boy Motors & Garage Doors. I called and explained my issue and he instantly quoted me a price and the price seemed fair. I asked when they could fix my door, of course expecting some time the following week, but to my surprise they could be out in an hour and a half. Tech showed up promptly at 11:30 like I was told. He looked at the door and said he won’t be done in a half an hour. He went and got the appropriate springs from his truck and 20 minutes later he was done. Lubed up everything and said all looked good. Dutch Boy Motors & Garage Doors is a top notch company I would recommend to anyone. Fantastic job they did.

I called Dutch Boys to come service my garage door that wasn't opening properly. Both springs were shot and the bearings were toast in the pulleys. The service man was on time to the appointment, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He was happy to share tips and advice on how to keep the doors maintained. The price was well below what I was expecting to pay. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

It is rare in this day an age to find someone , let alone a company that displays great customer service, an honest work ethic AND exemplary skills . But we found all of these with Harm the owner of Dutch Boy. Not only did he arrive when stated he went to work right away to fix our garage door opener. And then went the extra mile to find a bad sensor and repair/replace that as well! We are so happy to have this working during the arctic freeze! But even more so to know that there are still people like Harm ! And his prices are VERY reasonable! Thank You Harm for restoring our opener and our faith that great customer service does still exist!

I called at 5:30 pm, and the nice gentleman from Dutch Boy was here by 6:30 the same day. By 7:15 he had changed the torsion springs for my two car garage door and oiled the moving parts and adjusted it, AND oiled my other garage door which wasn't even part of the work requested. I'm very happy with the work and with the company!

I can't remember his name as I had work done on my garage door a few years ago. My daughter's garage door now needs help and I did a Google search and then remembered the name of his business. I was so impressed the first time (but didn't write a review) with his work that I'm going to call him again today. The part I really liked was he not only replaced the springs (professionally) but did a whole check over of the garage door system, oiled rollers and did all kinds of unexpected things to keep the opener/door in good operating condition for years to come.

Another company wanted to charge us $1350 to repair our door. Dutch Boy came out and told us most of that work was unnecessary (as we figured) and fixed it for less than $200. Came out 10 mins after we called and had us up and running less than 30 minutes after that. I strongly recommend calling Dutch Boy if you have garage door needs. Honest, affordable and efficient.

Most recently, I had a LiftMaster 8500 installed with a "high lift" conversion so the door panels would clear the roof of the vechicles on my home car lift. So a contractor doing work in our house lowered our garage door on to our Van, damaging the garage doors top panel and mounting brackets. They called Dutch boy to come and fix it amd they would pay for it So Their tech shows up immediately grabs the main unit bends it back straight then says oh I can just hammer this piece of metal back into the door best I can then bend the bracket back to straightish and screw it back in!! What kind of company shows up to something like this and thinks it’s just ok to hammer and bend and not replace. I bet if drove my car into thier business door and said oh no worries alittle glue, bend this hammer that and good as new. They’d be suing me for new building. Unbelievable the guy was as rude as you could get, I’ve never used them before but after this I would recommend anyone to stay away. Far away
