This company’s been in business for 30years but yet can’t pay me the rest of the money that the homeowners have already gave them it’s almost been 2months and yes I have communicated with the homeowner so subs be careful with these type of company’s . We work hard for our money.

Hired them to replace my standard back door with a slider. Scott came out and took measurements, I told him what I was wanting, and worked up an estimate. Once the funds were saved for the project we called and put the money down to have the door ordered.Weeks later the door arrived and they had ordered the door backwards from what I wanted. Originally I was blamed for the "misunderstanding" and was told I would have to buy a whole new door (another $3k) if I wanted them to install the door I actually wanted. When I refused Scott proposed finding an alternative solution to having a door that opened the wrong way. He came in and we discussed options, eventually deciding to buy custom cabinets to rearrange the kitchen to work around the door.I paid to have the cabinets made and was told Scott would pick them up and install them at no charge as compensation for the door. It took months for the cabinets to be made and be ready for pick up. The cabinets sat at the store for weeks after that with no word from Scott. I texted Scott multiple times looking for an update and a date for the install. Each time I was told he'd be back in touch to set the date. Never a call back.After the cabinets sat at the store for weeks I went and picked them up myself. I texted Scott again to let him know I had the cabinets and to set a date. He said he'd call me the following Monday to set a date. It's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything from anyone.I am now left with the wrong door (that doesn't lock properly), custom cabinets sitting in crates in my dining room, and a kitchen in complete chaos. This entire experience has been nothing short of ridiculous from day one. I wouldn't recommend this company to someone I hated... and after reading all the horrible reviews from others I do believe I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB and the CPA

My first experience with WinMill Roofing & Remodeling was 8-23-23. Hired them through online contact Matt McMillen, who was prompt & professional. Repairs to a rotting birdbox on the corner of my roof were done by Hayley, who did a great job. I always give conservative reviews in case the work doesn't stand the test of time. We hired this company to redo a small bathroom in spring of 2020. After over a year, the sub contractor had still not completed tilework and a group came in to finish. Now it's early 2023, the grout has completely washed out of the tile. Maybe they are better with roofing.Service: Bathroom remodeling

So I have not used this service through winmill roofing. But on 9/23/22 my family and I was out to eat at Ken's pizza in Hutchinson ks. We had the pleasure of sitting beside 2 of there employees while they talked loudly. They spoke of doing some window work and adding a little so as to charge a extra 1000. They wanted to be as close if not over the estimate they quoted. Now from just listening to this conversation some the customer hasn't approved any changers but they really want to sale him on this so "we can charge him extra". Really hope this is just soe. Employees that doing this and not how the company as ran in a whole.

Hired them for new roof after hail/tornado damage…two years ago! No leaks before the storm or before their crew took old roof off. Now the roof leaks! A man has been sent to “fix” where the leak is several times, claims it was found each time. Roof still leaking but at odd times, not always during heavy rain. It has ruined the ceiling in the family room and now I’m hearing “I’ll be in touch” from contact person. That was over a month ago. Ready to hire a local person I should have hired to begin with then send this company the bill

My family worked with Scott and we really appreciate him coming out to look at their siding and estimating the cost . They were working on remodeling home and fixing it up. Scott was friendly, knowledgably and treated my parents with respect. They work they did was amazing! Thanks Scott

We had the roof redone and 2 skylights put in, starting in Nov. As of today the trim around Skylights still looks like my 7year old painted it with cotton ball will all fuze in the paint. Thas was after they reworked the trim for the third time.The roof has over 3 dozen nail heads showing, again it's like I let my son run the nail gun.We are still not satisfied with the work.
