Matt was the first one to get back to me among other companies. He was even able to come look at my roof on the weekend as I was out of town during the week. Matt went up on our roof to assess whether it needed replacement and we were pleasantly surprised that he said even though it was old, it was still sound and didn’t needed replacing at this time. Another roofing company showed us pictures of damage from hail and said it really should be replaced. Matt said that most of the damage he saw was due to other contractors being on the roof. Our 5 year old addition showed no signs of hail damage. We really appreciated his honesty and will call on him in the future for our roofing needs.

We had some spots on our ceilings and Matt came out for a roof leak inspection. He was punctual, very professional and did a complete assessment. No charge! We did not have roof damage causing the spots, (indoor condensation instead)but would certainly have used them if needed!

Was extremely pleased with the whole process of roof installation due to hail damage. Matt of Absolute Construction took charge of reviewing the insurance adjuster's estimate to make sure that everything that was damaged was on the adjuster's estimate, sent his estimate to the insurance company, scheduled the installation, made on site visits during the install, and sent final billing to the insurance company so a check could be issued to me. Matt is honest and personable -- something that is hard to find in today's business world. Absolute was able to work through all the insurance processes and got us a new roof back in 2019. This was after a number of inspections, rejections and appeals that did not work. I was “through the roof” with their advocacy and delivery. They did a great job on the roof and recently I had a need for a quick look at an area due to other work occuring. Absolute Construction did a great job replacing our roof. Matt was very thorough in inspecting the roof and found problems other roofers didn’t even inspect for. He worked with the insurance adjusters to make sure our roof was fixed appropriately. If we had used the other roofers, we would not have known about several possible problems until they were in the middle of it. I called absolute construction to see about getting a 2nd opinion with our attic ventilation issues. Matt came out and checked our roof and attic. Matt found the builder did not cut the soffit vents out but had only cut a hole about the size of a fist. Matt saved us around $3k as that is what the roofing company that installed our roof wanted to charge to make improvements and come to find out they would not have corrected the issues. The fix for our home was simply to cut the soffits out correctly and turn down the humidifier when we get a really cold spell for a few days. Thank you Matt for your honesty.Service: Attic venting

Needed new roof due to hailstorm. Close friend has recently used Absolute Construction. After getting other bids, I didn’t feel my questions/concerns were really being addressed. So I called and spoke with Matt B., who came out almost immediately. Professional, thorough, knowledgeable about aspects of roof replacement that put my concerns to rest. Matt knows roofing inside and out. He even came out to walk through the roof inspection with the contractor sent by my insurance company. Nice touch I must say. I also have solar panels, an added wrinkle. Matt couldn’t find any identifiable information on original installers ( which was later confirmed by solar company who took off then reinstalled for me). He screened solar companies, set everything up with them and was here when they removed and reinstalled. I am so glad I chose Absolute Construction. Replacing a rood isn’t fun but Matt made it a great experience all around. The Absolute Crew were wonderful as well. On time, efficient, and my new roof looks amazing. The whole team, even the fellas who dropped off the shingles, were a true pleasure to work with. Matt consistently went above and beyond to make sure I understood the process, answering all questions timely, and rapid response time on pretty much everything. If you are thinking about getting a new roof or have damage to your roof that you would like a trusted company to help guide you through the process, save time and just go with Absolute Construction- Midwest Roofing and Restoration. This will be a longer post, but if you don’t want to read it, then just know that you will get transparency, consistent communication and extremely high quality work done if you go with Absolute.Now for the details. There were 2 hail storms back in 2019 and 2020 that damaged our roof, stucco, and other property around the home. This led to us reaching out to many different roofers and contractors to help assess the damage and start the process of filing an insurance claim. We went with Absolute because of their timely response and consistent communication. You would think this would be normal, but many places make the customer feel like they are a burden; that is if they even respond to your email or voicemail. Not with Absolute. Cody Fleenor is who we worked directly. I cannot say enough positive things about him. He is respectful, attentive, truthful, basically an all-around great guy that you can trust. We had to go through a lengthy insurance review that took a very long time. It was long and painful. Throughout the entire process Cody would follow up with us, see how we were doing and was there to help with whatever was needed (mitigation on the roof…twice, due to the length of time it took for insurance to review). By the time the insurance stuff was complete the weather had turned to winter again, so construction could not be started. For months Cody would still follow up with updates on the plan to start construction, confirming what materials we wanted, the colors we wanted and made sure that as soon as the weather was nice that construction would start. Sure enough, as soon as the weather got nice, the roof got started.The roof looks beautiful and they assisted with getting the other damage that needed to be fixed done as well. The logistics can be difficult with this stuff but Absolute made us feel like we always had a trusted and knowledgeable person in our corner.
