I went up on my roof thinking I was just going to put a little sealant up where an old satellite dish had been installed on the roof of the house we just bought. Instead, I found a disaster. Flint Hills was recommended to me and I am glad I called! I found the disaster on a Saturday and had an entire new roof on my house by Wednesday. Not only that, but we live an hour away from Wichita. The crew worked so hard even in 100 degree heat! I will also add that it was the best clean up I’ve seen from a roofing crew. I could not be more pleased with the response time, the crew, the finished product, and the communication from the owner. I will recommend Flint Hills Roofing Co. Flinthills Roofing did outstanding job working with my insurance company in replacing my shingles with IR class 3 shingles-big discount. Flinthills representative Ravi was instrumental in replacing all damaged wood to include facia and soffit. Color match all gutters, downspouts and raincap and in sure matching color to the house structure and windows. Ravi came through in replacing the damaged yard lights with new ones from falling shingles. Thank you Javi for the beautiful home. When you see this douche park his lifted truck in a handicap spot at the Derby Walmart Marketplace and run into the store, that tells me all I need to know about what type of classless person he is. Have a hard time believing your reply. If that was the case a man would go remove it instead of letting some POS give me free advertising. It is not an ex employee. Long review, you've been warned! I had my roof replaced by Flint Hills this past Summer 2022. Everything leading up to picking out the shingles and the initial installation went okay, not great but not horrible. It's after when I thought all the work had been completed that this nightmare began. While putting up Christmas lights I observed parts of my roof to not be acceptable; exposed nail heads partially covered with sealant, shingles damaged after installation by the roofers, and a metal cap not replaced. I then contacted my project manager with Flint Hills to discuss with her my concerns on 12/3, she said she'd get a roofer to look it over that week but no one came by. I contacted her again on 12/12 to see if anyone was coming by, she told me someone would be out to look it over but no one came by. I contacted her again on 12/29 after not receiving any communication from her or anyone at Flint Hills. She informs me on 12/29 that they are waiting on supplies from the warehouse. I then started to communicate with another lady at Flint Hills who tells me that she wants to get her best roofer to come by my house to fix the shingles and replace the cap. Turns out her best roofer is on holiday away the entire month of January and into February. Eventually I asked to get the repairs made and the cap replaced can't you just send your second best roofer? No, she insisted we wait. I had dozens of phone calls and text messages with her over the span of 12/29 to 2/21/2023. Finally on 2/21/2023 someone comes to my house and fixes the damaged shingles and replaces the cap. During this time I also recently called the office of Flint Hills to speak with their owner Tyler, I left a message to have Tyler call me back with the lady who answered the phone and never got a call back. I don't know if I'm an anomaly or what based off of their reviews but this certainly wasn't a 5 star experience. Be prepared when you do business with them, their communication with the customer is pretty bad. The quality of work done by some of their contractors isn't the best. I cannot speak highly enough of Tyler and his team. They show up on time and knock the job out of the park. They did such a great job with our new roof and gutters that we hired them back to paint the exterior of our house. Tyler actually bought a car from me last week. He and I got to talking about the upcoming chiefs game while we were working the deal and he was saying he wanted to give me some tickets sometime. I didn’t expect him to get me play off tickets though. I was really surprised when he calls me at noon on this past Sunday and told me I was going to the game. It really meant a lot to my friend and I who are die hard chiefs fans. After getting to know Tyler he is clearly a stand up guy who is very generous and honest as they get.
