Beware....provided us invalid license number to another business, also Tomlinson is the family name most of these reviews are family, which we were unaware of initially. Phillip Tomlinson AKA Mike is unprofessional, untrustworthy. Provided false statements about being a wounded Combat Veteran to gain our business, and was not a Purple Heart recipient. His posted pictures of our property were not completed by him or his company. A seperate company did the concrete work on our home aside from a patio that he did that has cause a serious water intrusion problem. He further failed to complete the work and has walked away with our money, has not responded to any communication requests since January 2022 after acknowledging he owes us thousands of dollars that he can not account for.Service: General construction

DO NOT recommend. Poor quality overall. Did not complete project. Had to hire other contractors to complete work Mike was suppose to do. Mike took owner for $10,000 . Very unreliable!!! Mike utilized inexperienced people to help him. Very disappointed. Talked a good line but failed to deliver.Service: Remodeling

Mike Tomlinson came to my house to evaluate a leaking roof. We discussed in general what was going to be done. Removing some shingles in the problem area to identify where the leak was located, repair leak and seal with some type of rubber that he uses. Quoted between 300-700 dollars. Sounded fair enough so I gave him the green light on the job. He called me a couple days later said he was finished and I needed to meet him there for payment. When I got there, he had hired a Hispanic fellow for a couple of hours to spread a 35$ bucket of roofing tar on the roof and informed me that I owed him 425$. I told him at that point he didn't repair it the way we agreed upon. He guaranteed that would fix the problem so I wrote him a check. When the next rain came and it leaked just as bad as ever, so he got his helper to spread some more roofing tar. Of course that didn't help, Now he doesn't answer his phone or return any text. I guess small claims court is the way you have to deal with folks like that. I hope this helps someone from becoming another Mikes remodelin victim.
